“I cannot recommend Porchlight enough! I have become a frequent flyer— no seriously— twice a dad visits. I love the convenience of their online ordering in the morning and their great cafe space for lunch. There is no wrong answer when it comes to their variety of flavors for your lattes. Truly a skillfully crafted coffee menu along with flavor-packed food options. My absolute favorite menu item is their harvest Cobb salad. I CAN’T GET ENOUGH! Dried cranberries, grilled chicken, feta (I think), walnuts, topped with the to-die-for maple vinaigrette on a bed of lettuce. Seriously, there is NO reason NOT to go to Porchlight. Cheers!“

“The gelato here is amazing. It is a super quaint space , that is very lovely to sit in and enjoy your gelato. The staff is always friendly and helpful with giving samples to try before you decide.

I will drive for 20 minutes plus to go get an amazing coffee from here. Not to mention the amazing pastries. Y’all need to open a location in the Green/Canton area!“

“The bubble tea was very good! There are a lot of choices for bubbles waffles that look great. My daughter really enjoyed the boba bubble waffle with ice cream and a variety of toppings.“

“Stopped in around 9:30 pm on a Friday for some donuts. The gentleman working the counter apologized for not having fresh filled donuts and cream sticks available however fresh cake donuts were up for grabs and some donuts that were left over from earlier in the day. I went with an assorted dozen- vanilla and chocolate coconut frosted cake donuts, a couple glazed, some powder sugar donuts both regular and cinnamon sugar, a devils food, lemon sour cream, regular sour cream, blueberry, and a chocolate frosted. I wish I could say there was a favorite but there wasn’t. All the donuts were so fresh and had a little crisp to them! Even the next day the donuts were fresh- even after cutting into most of them to try pieces none of the donuts went stale or hardened over night. The frosting was still soft as well. Great little donut shop, don’t let their hours get you they open back up in the evenings if you miss them in the mornings. Will be going back“

“I'm participating in Akron's Drip Drive this year by checking out all the local coffee shops in Akron, and Evelyn's has quickly become my new favorite spot by far! Their Vietnamese coffee is delicious, and I got to try a lemongrass bahn mi when I went back on a weekend and it was heavenly. But then I stopped there another week day morning before work for a coffee & bahn mi, but was sad to learn their kitchen didn't open until after 10am. Which means I'll never get to bring a bahn mi to work with me to have for lunch :( My heart broke a little as I don't work close enough to Evelyn's to drive back there midday. I wonder how many others tried to order a bahn mi in the morning for breakfast or lunch but couldn't. These hours are not clear on the website either unfortunately. I wish I could leave a 4.5 stars for this reason but yeah. I hope they have plans to expand their kitchen hours soon!!! But I'll definitely be back for at least the coffee regardless.“

The only thing I disliked was the bagel I got. Weird texture and taste, but that might just be me!“

“The norm. Whenever I get a cold brew anything, I never order it online unless I'm already at drive thru 2 cars behind max. Sooo someone's I go inside to order it, so far 4x they hand me a nitro instead. Lol. Still, everybody had their good and bad days. We're only human. It's no biggy, not like a whole dinner mess up. “I was asked last minute to provide the cake for my daughter’s bridal shower. The Bake Shop in Ghent saved the day by 1. Being open on Sunday and 2. Preparing a beautifully decorated, but most importantly, absolutely delicious cake! The folks at the shop were so very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!“
