“I've been coming to Heartwood (all locations) for a couple years now and NO CAFE in Ohio beats their coffee. I'm super picky about my coffee (how acidic, bitter, notes, etc) and I have tried almost all cafes around Cleveland and none of them compare to Heartwood - even beats Rising Star... The service is always so good and quick with super kind/welcoming employees, and the owner is always smiling! I absolutely adore the decor and vibe the cafe locations offer. It's the perfect place for a solo date, brunch/lunch, work spot, meeting, etc! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Heartwood and wish there was one closer to my city (Broadview Heights). I recommend this company to everyone looking for the best coffee (local and out of state)! Do yourself a favor and RUN to Heartwood now because I promise you all not regret it!“

“Love me some Rising Star. They really turned the old Lee diner into a really nice space that fits into our barrio nicely. Rising Star always slings out great coffee. “I just recently moved back to Lakewood. I saw that the old Burger King was now a Starbucks. A friend and I visited earlier today and I absolutely love all the space, the seating and the opportunity to watch fellow Lakewoodites. This Starbucks is one of the nicest ones I've been in.

A few months ago I found a lonely sample size Jamaican Me Crazy in the back of the freezer, which I saved to brew for a Sunday morning treat! Anyhow, we are now on auto ship and receive Jamaican Me Crazy whole bean bags every six weeks! I increased my order to share with my daughter. “Edited because this location has really gotten better. The drinks are as they should be made every time. The drive through can be long, but it is now within a reasonable amount of time it takes to make everyone's drinks in the line. If the line ever looks too long I just select inside pick up, and it gets made very quickly. Inside seating is still sparse, but it is a small location. Just have to be prepared you may not get a table if that's your intention.

Not enough seating inside. Whenever I go through the driveway, which is not often because it takes so long, the coffee is never close to being full in the cup. Usually it is down the cup maybe 2-3 inches. Tonight when I went through because the line was not long, I took two sips, not gulps but sips, and opened the lid to get some whipped cream from the top of the white peppermint mocha, and the cup was barely 2/3 full. An inch from the half-filled point. $4.95 for a half of a grande milk, sugar, and a little bit of coffee drink. And it was luke warm. Pathetic. At least it tasted good once I got home, warmed it up, and added more coffee, otherwise I would have given 1 star. Finally learned my lesson, and from now on I will just stay home and frequent my Nespresso machine. Bye, Starbucks.“
