Much tea. Probably should have gotten it with ice cause by the time I finished the bubble tea, it was lukewarm. But that's my fault.

We couldn’t change the sweetness levels on the first two drinks but they weren’t too sweet for us. I was surprised by how good the tapioca was - it was perfectly soft and chewy. “The durian smoothie from here is the best I've ever had. It's really delicious and has a nice durian flavour; it doesn't taste watered down. Also, the tapioca from here is different from other bubble tea shops. Here the tapioca is more of a clear dark brown color (rather than the opaque typical black of other stores) and the texture is perfectly chewy. The only downside of Real Fruit is that the prices are really high, especially the durian smoothie. But if you have money to splurge and you like durian, I definitely recommend going here.“

The standouts are the sake rose (creamy, umami) and the bo kho bolognese (great pairing of Vietnamese beef with the tomato sauce). The duck breast green curry’s flavours worked well together, but I think it should have double the amount of meat for the dish.
The orders didn’t take long to make, about 10-15 minutes from time of ordering from the touch display.

“About a week ago, I visited this location for the first time. Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile from my cashier, Aarav. His outstanding communication skills immediately impressed me. He was able to walk me through the menu and offer drink suggestions based on the criteria I provided him.The store was quite busy at the time. Nonetheless, he worked quickly and professionally. He was able to finish making my drink in under 3 minutes, politely hand it to me, and take the next customer without breaking a sweat! A great employee like him is truly hard to come by!“

“Huh, I feel like this place deserves a better review than what it has now. Although I do agree with some of the reviews that some of the drinks aren’t my fav, I do think they have some very good options as well!! I usually go for the mango pomelo drink or their Wednesday special drink (it’s a milk tea with taro balls and other stuff, it’s been awhile so I don’t remember it exactly but it was good lol).

I also used to do a lot of food blogging (still a foodie tho lol) and I’d say this place is a decent option, just have to know what drinks they are good for. Try the mango pomelo drink next time if you are there! Hope I’m helpful haha.“

“I went to york for a camp and I stumbled upon this boba shop while exploring.. the main shop owner who greets you is the funniest nicest guy. very patient and so polite. “We got the matcha light bulb milk tea and the fresh watermelon tea with mousse. The matcha milk tea is probably the best matcha flavour you can get for a boba shop. It doesn’t taste sickeningly sweet and it isn’t overly bitter either, sorta tastes smooth (if that makes sense lol). The light bulb bottle only comes in a regular size, but I was a bit surprised on how it turned out because I thought it would be tiny. If aesthetics are important to you, I definitely recommend getting something here! Drinks look very pretty, but still taste good. Based on the reviews, we decided to try this place since Cafe Mozaiko looked like a good choice.

We didn’t check the menu, but it was exactly the kind of food we like. My son went for his usual order of the spicy salmon bowl. He said it was unbelievable and one of the best he has had. It came with pickled ginger, pickled seaweed and a spicy mayo. We decided to order chicken karaage bento for a change. The chicken was melt-in-the-mouth and the coating was very flavourful with the right amount of crisp. The sesame sauce it came with was also great. The rice was seasoned and paired very well with the chicken, not dry at all. The lychee iced tea had fresh lychee bits and was very flavourful. The taro milk tea tasted like real taro and the boba was good too.

Overall, a fantastic experience and we’ll be back to try the sushi.“
