“My son and I were looking for a cup of coffee, and were drawn to 367 Cafe by the promise of a patio. It's in the back and can be heated. Essentially this is a cozy cafe and sports bar. The very friendly proprietor told us it isn't worth his while to try to serve meals during the pandemic. The espresso was very good, however.“
“I would give 5 stars to the staff—they were very friendly and attentive, which made for a welcoming experience.
The ambience was convenient and cozy, making it a comfortable spot to grab a bite after grocery shopping.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations. We ordered the Swiss burgers, which were dry and lacked quality in both taste and ingredients.“

“From the moment we arrived, the team delivered warm, polished, and attentive service. The Wagyu was unbelievably tender and richly flavored; the lobster arrived fresh. Every course arrived at just the right pace, allowing us to fully enjoy each bite. Though elegant, the dining room felt inviting—not stuffy. Overall, the services and environment was much more impressive than the foods.“

“Brunch at Ruby Soho was mostly fun and delicious but slightly slow.
Came here for a birthday brunch with a group of 14 girls and overall had a great experience! The food was beautifully plated and full of flavor, with a few standout dishes.
The Classic Breakfast was simple and delicious the raspberry jam that came with the toast was amazing. Only thing that lacked was the corn bread it was dense and dry.
Pork Belly Benny was rich and flavourful the pork belly was almost candy like sweet, crunch and fatty.
The only letdown was the Avocado Toast, It felt a bit bland and got lost under the sprouts.
Our waitress was friendly and did her best due to short staffing but overall it was still very slow service.“

“A group of us visited Pizza Wine Disco last week and had the absolute best time! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect. The music was amazing and everyone danced all night long. The drinks were perfectly mixed, super refreshing, and served extremly fast. We had the pleasure of meeting Bibek, the manager, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and the vibe of the place. The rest of the staff were all super friendly as well. If I could give 6 stars, I would. We’ll definitely be returning soon!“

“Perched discreetly above the bustling Le Banane restaurant, Bar Banane isn't just a waiting area; it’s a destination in its own right—a cool, sophisticated escape for the discerning drinker.
The atmosphere whispers of exclusivity, but the service is anything but stuffy. It's truly great, with attentive staff who guide you through a fascinating drink menu. Forget the standard fare; the cocktail program here is genuinely interesting and ambitious. Offerings like the Lovely Rita, a smoky, intriguing Mezcal-based concoction, and the Message in a Bottle hint at a thoughtful, high-level approach to mixology. (And for those who appreciate the classics, a dedicated selection of Negronis during Negroni Week certainly demonstrated their commitment to cocktail culture.)
As a devoted fan of pisco, I opted for the Message in a Bottle, a daring blend anchored by pisco and vanilla liqueur. While the spirit-forward nature of the drink was admittedly strong for my palate, its construction was undeniably expert. It achieved a beautiful balance, showing the skill of the bartender. The presentation was elevated further by a perfectly placed, torched peach garnish, adding a subtle, sweet, and smoky dimension that was a true delight.
Bar Banane operates on a higher plane of cocktail execution. It strikes that perfect balance: inventive drinks, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that feels both exclusive and welcoming. The strength of the menu is compelling enough to ensure that a return visit is not just a plan, but a priority!“

“My favourite go-to bar uptown and I love bringing my friends here for a good time! I always rave about their Creamy Curry Udon Noodles, it's my must-have dish every visit, so I highly recommend!! Everything about it is true to its name and it's more filling than it looks. It has the number one spot in my heart for udon. 🍜
I also enjoy their Chef's Secret Pork Tacos and the BlueBlue Sky cocktail is my personal favourite.
Depending on the day, the restaurant/bar is a nice cozy spot for a small dinner and drinks or a high energy space to party and have fun. The ambiance is truly dynamic.
Special thanks to Joyce 💕 who's served me and my friends three time already. Her service is always swift and attentive and she's super kind and friendly. Can't wait to be back again!! 🫶🫶🫶“

“Resonable prices right on the waterfront. They converted this outdoors auditorium to a casual bar restaurant. They even have a doggy menu… but they will charge you $250 if your pet does its “business” within the bordes of the location.“

“A great hangout on a Friday night. Comfy atmosphere and top shelf service. We ordered Nagasaki jjampong and paired it with Soju, followed by yuzu high ball. It conjured memories of Omeide yokocho in Tokyo or midtown Busan. Highly recommend it if you are in North York.“
“MOONLIGHT PUB is the perfect local hangout, bringing together people of all ages for a great time. Whether it's students playing pool, adults singing their hearts out on Friday karaoke nights, or the live band performances every two weeks, there's always something happening.
The friendly staff and bartenders make the place even more welcoming, ensuring you feel right at home. The atmosphere is lively, with a great mix of house music and classic rock 'n' roll—plus an awesome jukebox and gaming machines to keep the fun going.
It’s a go-to spot for a casual night out, especially if you're rolling in with a group of 5 or more if you're looking for a laid-back, entertaining bar with great vibes and place to get drunk and wasted! this is the place to be! 🍻🎶🎤“

“Gabby’s – Guildwood Village Shopping Centre Four of us visited Gabby’s in the Guildwood Village Shopping Centre yesterday for lunch. The restaurant opened last year, and this was our first time there. After seeing so many great reviews online, we decided to check it out. We were greeted right away and seated where we preferred. Our server, Sarah, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and helpful in guiding us with our drink choices. Between the four of us, we ordered: Chicken wings with fries Onion rings Garlic bread Buffalo chicken wrap with fries Braised beef stone-fired pizza Everyone agreed the food was excellent. I had the pizza, and it was sensational—the beef was tender and perfectly portioned, pairing beautifully with the onions and mushrooms. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, whether you’re enjoying a meal on the patio, dining indoors, or sitting at the bar surrounded by plenty of TVs. Service was impeccable. The washrooms were very clean, though they are located in the basement. If you’ve had a few drinks, you might prefer the accessible washroom on the main floor, as the stairs are steep. We all agreed we will definitely be back—there are so many other tempting menu items we want to try. The amazing service we received from Sarah made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you, Gabby’s!“

“We randomly popped into this place because we were looking for a bathroom and were willing to buy a drink for the use. Ended up staying for 2 hours. The vibe is very welcoming and friendly and we had some good chats with the other customers. Everyone seemed to know one another to some degree but were very friendly to a couple of rando's who walked in looking for a bathroom.“

“So glad we chose to try this Izakaya, this is by far one of the best we've tried! Flavor is on point for all the dishes we ordered. I just want to emphasize the pork belly skewers Sanmainiku as it was perfectly seasoned and grilled! “Cocktails are always great, yes. Food is always great, yes. Service? Great. But of note: tonight I ordered a coke and not only did it come in a sexy tall glass with a gorgeous little lime wedge perched on top, it came with a BEAUTIFUL PLASTIC STRAW, not a dumb paper straw that lasts 3 minutes, no, a real thicc plastic straw circa 2015, one that had enough diameter and girth for proper beverage enjoyment, and when I tell you that that coke was the best goddamn coke I’ve ever had in my life???? I mean it with my full chest. I love you short turn“

“The food are sooo good.
Spicy cream seafood udon is so yummy. Rich and creamy. It’s Must-have item if you go to this restaurant. You will be surprised!!!
Beef tartar has a strong sesame oil aroma. It tastes sour and sweet when eaten with salad. It is very delicious and the taste is so fresh before you have the main dish.“
“Cool neighbourhood spot. 15 dollar cocktails, good menu, paper planes, negroni's, old fashions, espresso martinis, all the core ones every good cocktail bar should have. I think it's also a cafe during the day.
They had a live DJ playing some Berlin type music not too loud which was a nice touch. There is some seating space in front of the patio, and next to the building to hang out. Tall beer cans and cocktails are 7-8 bucks which is a good deal. They have some non-alcoholic beers too which is nice.
Inside has that cool vintage hipster Berlin feel to it. No cover, no lineups, just a nice local neighbourhood bar near the bridge and a bunch of other autoshops. Was walking back from an art gallery and we just literally stumbled upon it and sat down for a catch up drink.
I feel like Toronto needs more places like this. Quiet neighbourhood bars with a nice selection of music, quality cocktails, not too expensive, no lines ups. Nice slightly mature place for people to catch up and have a drink without having to venture heavily into the Dundas West bar scene where it's way more hectic. Probably fits like 20 people so it's nice and intimate. Kind of reminds me of some of the bottle shops in Montreal where you can either drink it there and vibe or take it to the park right next to it. Place has some character to it. Would like to see it have a good solid run in Toronto's independent bar scene and be supported by the neighbourhood.
Next time I'm back I'll try out the cocktail menu and see if that's fire too. Can selection was interesting. I got a fruit punch vodka seltzer with 2 grams of sugar which was good. LBGTQ+ friendly but open to anybody really. Still has that cool Dundas West OG grunge premium dive bar feel all the hipsters like me enjoy. Keep up the great work Tommy!“

“My wife and I recently held our wedding reception at the Paradise Grapevine Winery. The event went off without a hitch thanks to the efforts of Devin and the rest of the team at Paradise Grapevine Winery. Throughout the planning process, Devin was responsive and accommodating. Devin took it upon himself to coordinate with our caterer and DJ to ensure that we had less to organize in the lead up to the event. With minimal decoration, the venue was beautiful. The indoor and outdoor spaces gave our guests and us lots of flexibility to create different atmospheres around the venue (quiet and calm, loud and energentic, etc.). After the event, many guests told us that they felt very welcome at the event including those with babies and those 80+. At ~120 guests, we didn't feel at all cramped and there was plenty of seating for our buffet dinner. If you are looking for a venue for a wedding reception, I cannot recommend Paradise Grapevine Winery strongly enough. Devin is a dream to work with and the space is fantastic!“

A must-visit spot that keeps you coming back. Highly recommended!“

“Tucked in the enclave of Leslieville is this gem of a restaurant Goods and Provisions. The ambiance is great with warm wood paneling on the walls and low warm tone lighting. The wall decorations are eclectic and help create the vibe. I was impressed with the playlist as well and was told that it was the owners fav song selections.
However the star of this restaurant is the food. Shared steak tartare and duck frites. The steak tartare was fresh and vibrant and the toasty bread was an excellent accompaniment. The duck was tender and juicy and the jus on the fries was great.
I had the grilled octopus as well which was served on a crisp hash brown that was divine. This was one great meal. The server informed us that the menu changes weekly. How wonderful! A small menu done well.
I will definitely be returning.“

“I went in really hungry after a long day of work thinking I could grab a bite to eat and a couple of cold ones. Was very disappointed when I learned that there were no hamburgers. They do have popcorn but I did happen to have some extra ground beef from groceries earlier in the day. I asked if they could cut it up and add it to the popcorn for something more substantial. They refused. I will* (right now) be back.“
“Popped into Triple A with our very elderly pup this weekend and had a fantastic time! She was treated like royalty and could get very used to it. Great selection of beers and cider on draft and a lovely mix of humans and dogs. Looking forward to coming back!“
