The highlight of my experience was the awesome service since we were seated right away, our orders were taken quickly, and the food was produced promptly. “When I found out about Indonesian’s Flavour I was a bit hesitant but I tried their food and was surprised and happy that I did not have to travel far such as to Mississauga or Toronto to eat satay , nasi goreng or rendang , etc . It is all in the Hammer /Farmer’s market . Hamilton is lucky to have Indonesian cuisine , which can come to you mild or really spicy . …You just have to ask . Now if we can only ask them to get a bigger restaurant with lots of chairs and tables for a truly good and yummy dining experience !”

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a nice laid back upscale vibe, great choice of music to tie it all together.
The 4 dishes we tried included the Chicken Liver Brulee (signature dish), Beet Salad, Thai Stuffed Wings & Trout Marie Katherine. All the fishes were mind blowing with the different layers of flavor and contrast of texture.
The service was below subpar as it was mentioned that I had a lactose sensitivity but most dishes still had a dairy in them as the server mentioned the chef can make alternative substitutes. Also, we asked the server if we could get some extra bread and 10 minutes passed and nothing came out. So we reminded him again, it came out buttered and toasted sadly.
We definitely will come back for the food and hope to have better service then! We look forward to the summer menu, what date will that be released?”

If you’re looking for a place that serves authentic, high-quality ramen, Shiro Ramen is the spot. Probably the best ramen I had in Canada .The gyoza was also surprisingly good !

“I want to start by saying this is absolutely NOT the fault of the restaurant, and I take full responsibility for not checking the phone number to make sure it was correct. My wife has the dominoes app which we ordered through via delivery, and I failed to pay attention to the phone number on file. This was an old phone number of hers that she no longer used, however the first theee digits and the last four digits of the phone number on file are the exact numbers of my wife’s current phone number. This is where my mistake came in.
I did not notice the middle three digits were incorrect, and requested a text message prior to delivery as it is late and I didn’t want to wake up members of my household.
The incredibly kind driver believed that this was myself or my wife texting him, and therefore his time and effort was wasted. When I realized the order was cancelled upon checking the app, I immediately had my wife phone them to clarify what had happened. Through no fault of their own, they were lead to believe that we didn’t want the order anymore, and thus cancelled the order after driving all the way out to my address and texting me to let me know they’ve arrived. They did not knock because they were respectful of the time of night, and in no way do I blame them.
The driver and restaurant went above and beyond to correct a mistake that was not a fault of their own. While mistakes do happen, I wanted to point out that the driver was an incredibly kind individual who made sure that we received our order. While I take full responsibility for the mishap, I’m shocked that the person with whom the driver was texting requested a non refund return to the store, thereby wasting the stores time and resources to make a delivery happen, as well as trying to cheat strangers out of a 100 dollar meal. This is a lesson learned.
I wanted to point out that I have always received quality food from this location, that the food is always good, and the drivers always come with kindness and respect. Just like any restaurant business, the drivers and cooks do exceptional work, and have to deal with unkind customers and unfortunately, random people who make their jobs harder. This review is not only a review of the quality of the food, it is a positive reflection of the amazing workers at dominoes, especially in this industry where customers can be cruel. Thank you for giving this married couple an evening to enjoy good food and a movie. I am very pleased with the service and workers. Again, I want to express my sincerest apologies for the mishap.

My wife is allergic to all shellfish and we have been going to this Montana’s a few times now because they’ve been really great with allergies and sensitivities, but this particular time they had incorporated surf and turf on their menu and even though shrimp is a little more manageable in terms of the allergies, lobster is not our server was Brady. He was the most amazing server that I can remember not only did he wash his hands before coming and serving us. He personally went into the back of the kitchen and instructed them about this situation and then proceeded to manage as much as he could back there to ensure my wife’s safety and well-being, Montana’s, you have an incredible employee and I think that you’re really lucky to have him and very fortunate to have him. He was an absolute pleasure, pleasant, and kind and courteous thoughtful, mindful and definitely will be a place that we will continue to go as long as he is there. Honestly, if you can get him to help train other employees on the detail that he provides The customers that he serves, you would be all the better for it. The manager that we spoke with I apologize I didn’t get her name. She was fantastic as well and we made sure to let her know how much we appreciated Brady service.

“Incredibly delicious food, served up in generous portions. I was visiting in the Hamilton area and found the food so tasty, that I ate here three times in a week; twice for lunch, once for dinner. First visit: lunch: had the vegetarian dish/platter of hummos, eggplant, falafel, fried cauliflower, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms, served with your choice of soup or any of the salads on the menu and dinner plate sized fresh pitas. I had the Greek salad, which was excellent and, again, a generous portion. This meal could easily have been shared with two people, especially for lunch. My lunch mate took half of her meal home and I took my left over hummos (at least a half a cup) and pita for an afternoon snack later. Second visit: dinner with a group of six: I started with lentil soup, then had the spicy lemon shrimp with pilaf style rice and served with pita bread. We shared the salads that came as starters; all were delicious: Greek, Fatoush, and Tabouli. Third visit: spicy lemon shrimp, but substituted hummos for the rice. Again, generous portion with at least two dozen shrimp. Nothing chintzy about this place. The service could be a little more attentive, especially for the second dinner, which was at around 3:30 p.m. and, as is often the case when a restaurant is almost empty, was not hurried by any means. I had told the waitress I was in a hurry, but that didn't seem to help. Had to track her down to make my order and then my bill never came, so I went to the counter to pay. The service was better during the busy lunch and dinner hour visits. Still the food is so worth it, that I would go here anytime I'm back in the area and would recommend it to anyone.”

I shared with her that I was there to pick up a cinnamon roll for my 96-year old aunt who was waiting for me in the car as cinnamon rolls are one of her favourite treats. She boxed it up very nicely and slid it across the counter and said "this one's on me". Wow!!! In these days we live in, it's rare to come across individuals who are as thoughtful and kind and generous as this lady was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your amazing gesture! And, funny enough, on our way out of the parking lot, there was a lady with a sign that said that she was "very hungry", so I was able to "pay the gesture" forward by giving that lady some money. Have not seen her there before but she was such a great server, humerous, kind and helpful in making our choices.
