“Usually service and food is good. Today, july 22 around 2:30 it was someone different. I was only customer and the guy got it wrong. Ordered 2 meat/cheese. When I got home...no cheese. Also, dough was way too thin. And way too much spice. Sorry. It's usually my go to for Lebanese pies, but today's food was not up to snuff.”

“In Kanata for one night while visiting our daughter and looking for sushi close by. Windbell Sushi rose to the top in searches and we took a chance since it was relatively late, ~8PM. It was a bright beacon in a small plaza of business that were closed for the day. A small but welcoming space, I think there were 4 or 5 small tables. Seated and taken care of the owners' children (I assume). The menu is extensive and varied, reasonably priced. Food came quickly and was delicious! Lovely people, great food :)”

“We had an unimpressive visit at this Kelsey's a couple of months ago, and the manager reached out asking us to try them again. We visited again and had a very, very different experience -- the food was hot and the server gave us the perfect amount of attention. I admit that I really miss my long-time favourite Cracked Peppercorn Burger which is no longer on the menu. However the menu does have a good variety so there are choices: my dining companion had a steak and swiss with garden salad, and I had a bacon cheeseburger with a really excellent caesar salad. Thanks to the manager for reaching out to me and I'm glad we went back to Kelsey's.”

“We just left here and the first thing I did when I arrived home was to sit down to write this review.

We were a party of 4 and arrived to a line up. We were told it would be approximately a 30 minute wait but we were seated in less than 10 minutes. So far so good.

Then we met our server, Afton, and our visit got much better. She was pleasant, accommodating, efficient, answered all of many questions with a smile. Nothing was too much to ask. We all agreed that she was one of the best servers we had ever met, and weez old so we know what what weez talking about!

The food was fresh, plentiful, and served hot with a 😃.

It is so true that one person can make or break a night. We were fortunate and are grateful for our experience.

Without a doubt we will be back and we sincerely hope we get to see Afton again!”

I usually go for the Detroit deep dish—it’s okay but doesn’t quite compare to the original from Buddy’s.

Overall, not bad for the price, but there’s room for improvement.

“My Better Half and myself were about to go order a couple pizzas when I noticed Pirho Grill. It looked interesting and she wanted to see what they offered. Since it's Friday, she does not eat meat. She loved the idea that you could build your own bowl and went for the All the Veggies. she especially like the Vegan Baked Zucchini cakes. Myself I got the Spicy lamb Meatballs. Our meals were excellent. She loved it. Told me it was much better than the Cheese or Vegetarian pizza she normally gets on these days and that'll become our goto place on Wednesdays (another day she does not eat meat) and Fridays. Place suits us both as we both can have what we want and eat healthy. She was especially happy with the Staff who were courteous and helpful with explanations and suggestions. Now, if you add some sort of fish to the menu, she'll be in Heaven :P Highly Recommend the place.”

First time visiting the store in person as we’ve only ordered online for delivery before & it was a great experience! The store has a nice vibe with lots of seasonal décor and unique gift selections. Everything was clean, organized, and easy to browse.

The staff were friendly, service was fairly quick, and we really enjoyed the affogato. The ice cream was smooth and creamy and paired perfectly with the espresso. Aside from my Hokkaido ice cream experience in Japan, this has been by far the best and smoothest soft ice cream I have ever had and my second favourite of all time. I also loved that you can DIY the chocolate drizzle to your taste.

I was a little reluctant to order other dip cones as I am not a huge fan of sweets, but this ice cream already has me reminiscing about it. It honestly was not overly sweet like typical soft serves, and having so many selections of chocolate is awesome. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. Strawberry sundae here I come! 🍨”

And, it's what I got. I'd say the spice level on their most spicy option is like a medium spice, just FYI. For me, it's perfect as it doesn't take away from the eating experience, it's spicy but, you get the full flavor of the sauce and it's delicious.

“Visited for a patio dinner on a Saturday evening. Good menu, clean venue, wait staff pleasant, food was good! But I have to point out a major faux-pas. I ordered the deep fried cheesecake for dessert. It was supposed to come with strawberry and chocolate sauce & whip cream. They were out of strawberry sauce but didn't mention it when I ordered and so was not given the option to choose something else. Another restaurant runner dropped it off with NO toppings whatsoever... I thought the toppings might come after, but after a while ate it as it was (it was good but would have been so much better with even only one of the toppings) Finally when our bill came, we mentioned that the dessert had no toppings. We were told the waitress was new and didn't realize.... I get that... but what I wasn't expecting was that we still had to pay full price for the dessert---no discount, no other offer. That was very disappointing service... I suppose I could have complained or asked to speak to a "manager" but at that point just really wanted to leave. Because everything else about the restaurant was good---and so happy it's even Canadian---we will return... hoping for a better experience”

“We celebrated our daughter's birthday there, it was her choice of restaurant. We had an appetizer of calamari. One plate was just enough for 4 of us, we had 2 or 3 strips each. It was breaded and cut in strips rather than rings. Served with sauce and a piece of lime. Birthday girl had a regular Bellini cocktail, it was very impressive. It was served frozen. She ordered the chicken Shoyu Ramen, it was served with lots of yummy vegetables. The chicken was left out by accident but Adam our server promptly fixed that and brought it back with the chicken. One of had the steak sandwich served with fries. He said it alright. I had the Thai green curry with shrimp. It was served hot and tasty with 2 large crispy noodles. One more person in our party ordered the Ahi Tuna plate and replaced the rice with more vegetables which was happily accommodated. She enjoyed it very much. For dessert the bday girl was offered a free choice from the menu. She had the cookie with ice cream which we all tasted, it was really good! We also ordered a cappuccino, regular coffee and I found a jewel on the menu, a drink called The Shaft! It was a steal at 5$, 1 oz of vodka, Kahlua, cold brew and milk, shaken foamy and served on ice with a straw. I really enjoyed it. Adam our server was very attentive and frien dly. When asked what he recommended from the menu he gave us a few choices, two of which we ordered. I appreciate when a server actually recommends dishes with honesty rather than say "oh everything is good here". I will comment that we were cold where we were seated even though the entrance has double doors. Also, the lighting was a bit harsh which didn't make for nice pictures. Overall, the price was reasonable but we did not order any of the meat or ribs which are higher priced. The Bellini was only 11$ which seems like a steal these days with cocktails running at 15$ plus at most places. We would return.”

“Usually service and food is good. Today, july 22 around 2:30 it was someone different. I was only customer and the guy got it wrong. Ordered 2 meat/cheese. When I got home...no cheese. Also, dough was way too thin. And way too much spice. Sorry. It's usually my go to for Lebanese pies, but today's food was not up to snuff.”

“It was close to closing time, and the place was fairly busy - most tables were occupied, but a few were always empty. I ordered the GBC avocado toast for $16, a hot chocolate for $3, and the pancake stack was $17 (with an option to upgrade). The cheese on my toast wasn’t melted - it was basically cold, which wasn’t great and would have tasted much better if warm. Our waitress was clearly very busy and seemed rushed, and I had to remind her about my drink, which wasn’t served with the meal as requested, but it wasn’t a big issue. There are only two washrooms(women/men), but each one only has a single cabinet, so women will likely wait in line like I did, and the washroom itself is tiny (I’ve never seen such a small sink). Overall, the food was alright, and I recommend this place”

“The food was great! Noemie was a total rockstar behind the bar. We watched her work non stop making amazing drinks. She was super friendly as well. I hope this employee is really appreciated as any establishment would be lucky to have her…she deserves a raise :) We’ll be back for sure!”
