“Truly SOOO DELICIOUS!! Perhaps the best torched sushi I’ve had in Ottawa. The fish is so fresh and even the vegetarian sushi is delicious. I am absolutely addicted to their Torched Crispy Tuna! Very reasonably priced too. The best in the city, just looking at these pics is making me crave them again.”

“Usually service and food is good. Today, july 22 around 2:30 it was someone different. I was only customer and the guy got it wrong. Ordered 2 meat/cheese. When I got home...no cheese. Also, dough was way too thin. And way too much spice. Sorry. It's usually my go to for Lebanese pies, but today's food was not up to snuff.”

Every time we visit kanata location, Simran gives us the most welcoming smiles, and prepare our orders exactly as want them (or better) and make us feel so welcomed, and everything taste better if you are happy. She has set the customer service bar very high; if we visit other places, they are never close to her efficiency. You are so lucky to have her.”

“We were part of a group of 32 of a soccer team, and our grandson's 16th birthday. Besides that, the staff were serving 2 other birthday parties, one being a 100 year old. Every one of the servers were friendly and efficient. Thanks so much for such a pleasant evening.”

“What a refreshing friendly place to have a beer and watch a bit of the game. The open concept bar/kitchen and brewing system make you feel like your one of the family. Staff were all excellent tonight but our table highlight of the night was Tory and Elissa who enthusiastically helped us decide what to order and made sure we were always taken care of throughout the night.
Can’t go without giving a big shout out to the boys in the kitchen who outdid themselves with original takes and innovative plates - Jacob and Josh.”

“We just left here and the first thing I did when I arrived home was to sit down to write this review.

We were a party of 4 and arrived to a line up. We were told it would be approximately a 30 minute wait but we were seated in less than 10 minutes. So far so good.

Then we met our server, Afton, and our visit got much better. She was pleasant, accommodating, efficient, answered all of many questions with a smile. Nothing was too much to ask. We all agreed that she was one of the best servers we had ever met, and weez old so we know what what weez talking about!

The food was fresh, plentiful, and served hot with a 😃.

It is so true that one person can make or break a night. We were fortunate and are grateful for our experience.

Without a doubt we will be back and we sincerely hope we get to see Afton again!”

Loved my Reuben so much I bought the tshirt in the hopes they'll give me staff rate on my next meal ;) Hearty portions so plenty left to share with a fellow hosteller. 5-Stars, thanks for the comfort food since Winterlude hot chocolates as a kid in the 80s. “Consistently the best bubble tea spot in the region. Generous proportions, great selection, and avoids a lot of the funny-stuff in the ingredients that otherwise keeps my friends with food sensitivities away from the bigger chains”

You can tell they care about both customers and staff—everything runs smoothly, the team is friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Even during busy times, the manager stays calm, professional, and supportive, which really shows in the quality of service. This location is consistently clean, well-organized, and reliable thanks to their great management. Tim Hortons is lucky to have such a dedicated and hardworking manager.”

Management should be embarrassed to invite patrons to dine here.
I cannot say the kitchen is dirty but it does not give me a good feeling when the rest of the restaurant is that dirty.”

“I pulled in here after driving from Trenton. It's probably the best McDonald's I've been to in years. Large parking lot, lots of space inside, fast friendly service, bathroom wasn't locked, lots of condiments available, and they actually accept cash!”

“My group and I hit up Crazy Horse Bar and Grill tonight and let me tell you, it was a time! First off, the atmosphere is very lively and real. Not like those fake, chain-restaurant vibes, but actual people there having a good time.

We were served by Nick, who was super chill. He knew the menu well, and wasn't afraid to give his honest opinion on what to order. Most of my group went with the special prime rib, but I went with his recommendation, the prime grilled cheese, and wow!

It was a little loud and the wait time on the food was a bit long, but the drinks were solid, the music was good, and the overall setting was just what we needed after a long week. If you're looking for a place with good food, good drinks, and a genuine, no BS atmosphere, Crazy Horse is the spot.”

“My Better Half and myself were about to go order a couple pizzas when I noticed Pirho Grill. It looked interesting and she wanted to see what they offered. Since it's Friday, she does not eat meat. She loved the idea that you could build your own bowl and went for the All the Veggies. she especially like the Vegan Baked Zucchini cakes. Myself I got the Spicy lamb Meatballs. Our meals were excellent. She loved it. Told me it was much better than the Cheese or Vegetarian pizza she normally gets on these days and that'll become our goto place on Wednesdays (another day she does not eat meat) and Fridays. Place suits us both as we both can have what we want and eat healthy. She was especially happy with the Staff who were courteous and helpful with explanations and suggestions. Now, if you add some sort of fish to the menu, she'll be in Heaven :P Highly Recommend the place.”

Sure, I liked the lower price, and the flavor was decent, but the staff and environment were very dry/bland. When I stepped in to this store and met these people, I decided it was time to start again. The wine is amazing, the price is great, and the people here are amazing. Visit Matt at The Wine Garden . . . you'll start again too.”

Pad Thai, shrimp; "very" spicy and "extra sauce".

And, it's what I got. I'd say the spice level on their most spicy option is like a medium spice, just FYI. For me, it's perfect as it doesn't take away from the eating experience, it's spicy but, you get the full flavor of the sauce and it's delicious.

“Visited for a patio dinner on a Saturday evening. Good menu, clean venue, wait staff pleasant, food was good! But I have to point out a major faux-pas. I ordered the deep fried cheesecake for dessert. It was supposed to come with strawberry and chocolate sauce & whip cream. They were out of strawberry sauce but didn't mention it when I ordered and so was not given the option to choose something else. Another restaurant runner dropped it off with NO toppings whatsoever... I thought the toppings might come after, but after a while ate it as it was (it was good but would have been so much better with even only one of the toppings) Finally when our bill came, we mentioned that the dessert had no toppings. We were told the waitress was new and didn't realize.... I get that... but what I wasn't expecting was that we still had to pay full price for the dessert---no discount, no other offer. That was very disappointing service... I suppose I could have complained or asked to speak to a "manager" but at that point just really wanted to leave. Because everything else about the restaurant was good---and so happy it's even Canadian---we will return... hoping for a better experience”

“Our server was excellent and paid close attention to us and the many other tables that she served. I had the soup, sandwich and salad. The soup and salad were excellent. The sandwich contents could have been a little hotter. The chicken was not very hot at all. We enjoyed ourselves despite a busy day and all the noise and chatter that goes along with a popular restaurant.”

“It was close to closing time, and the place was fairly busy - most tables were occupied, but a few were always empty. I ordered the GBC avocado toast for $16, a hot chocolate for $3, and the pancake stack was $17 (with an option to upgrade). The cheese on my toast wasn’t melted - it was basically cold, which wasn’t great and would have tasted much better if warm. Our waitress was clearly very busy and seemed rushed, and I had to remind her about my drink, which wasn’t served with the meal as requested, but it wasn’t a big issue. There are only two washrooms(women/men), but each one only has a single cabinet, so women will likely wait in line like I did, and the washroom itself is tiny (I’ve never seen such a small sink). Overall, the food was alright, and I recommend this place”
