“I haven’t really properly eat here, I just mostly got stuff for take out, I ordered the popcorn chicken and lamb skewers, both of them are amazing, the popcorn chicken is probably or if not the best popcorn chicken I’ve had, and the lamb skewers are by far the best I’ve ever had for sure.“

“Affordable and tasty noodles near North York! 👏The noodles are super chewy and delicious, and the food comes out quickly. The buns and side dishes are also really good — totally recommend. The manager and staff are very friendly — I’ll definitely be back!💗“

“Went with some friends and family. Ordered 5 dishes. Im not a person that can handle to much spicy but their 3 peppers wasn't that spicy at all. I would say go with the recommendation from the server . Everything he told us to order was amazing. We decided to order one thing that he did not mention and that ended up being a salty dish that was our least favorite. Overall great experience, the restaurant is very cute with painted walls of seafood and the service was amazing.“

“They only take reservations for a party of 6 or more. We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday. There were only a few tables available.
2 hours for dining. Great service and the staff are friendly and attentive. 10% off if you pay by cash.
You can choose the level of spice, which is great for someone like me, who can't take any spice. lol
The meat is tender and flavourful. Highly recommend the garlic with eggplants, lamb, beef hearts, and the fried milk custard.
Would definitely return.“

“they gave peanuts and pickled radish as a little appetizer. you order through your phone via QR code as per many of these types of restaurants. food was great!
- clams were good, nothing to call home about
Our favourites:
- tripe; flavourful and super tender (better than Have(n) BBQ party) at East Beaver Creek.
- tomato soup with dough“

“Nice and Convenience place. Good foods. Best Asia food shop in town.
Pricing at Bridge Ribs is reasonable, especially consideringthe quality and portion sizes. It’s slightly higher than a typical fast food chain, but given the fresh ingredients and the authenticity of the flavors, it’s well worth it.“

“I haven’t had a 10 out of 10 meal at a restaurant for a very long time. Friendly and welcoming service. Freshly prepared delicious homemade food. I was told even the chicken soup was not pre-made!! The complimentary tea is fragrant and soothing. The decor shows the artistic side of the owner and his attention to details. This hidden gem deserves all its 5-star reviews.“

“I’ve been here 4 or 5 times now and it’s always a great experience. The original pork bao is my favourite. They are unbelievably good. Possibly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. I also really enjoy the scallion noodles and won ton soup. You can see the staff making the dumplings while you eat or wait for your order which is cool. I live far away so I don’t eat here as often as I like but I would recommend it to anyone who likes delicious food. I always make a point to visit when I’m in the area.“

“We visited this place in a Saturday evening. The pork knuckle with rice is real good. Highly recommended. I always dreamed of having this dish in Longjiang, China but didn’t get a chance. Fortunately this place is a small gem on Yonge. This restaurant is small but looks like the owner tried hard to make the interior look similar to what you might find in Guangdong. Such as the plastic seats and foldable tables. There are other Chinese places in Toronto pretending that they have the same dish, but they are all kinda fake after I came here.“

“I went in Mr Fish in a late night!
Personally I liked the food I ordered. But I won’t say it’s the best fish restaurant I’ve tried. Mind you, I’ve tried quite a number, so I’m picky 😋 my friend didn’t like as much.
When I came in, there was a couple there. When I left, a few groups came in the restaurant. Mr. Fish is moderate in size so it won’t allow several big groups. I liked the decorations and cute setup. Customer service is great. Staff is polite and when I packed, server gave this adorable bag. Takeout package is great too.
In the dishes ordered, I liked their beef dish and cheese (or yam) balls. The fish wasn’t the best but it was alright.
If you pay cash, you will get 10% discount 😉parking can be tricky.“

“This spot is my go-to for solid HK-style comfort food. The kitchen moves fast, the food hits every time, and the prices are super affordable.
I’m obsessed with the steamed rice in lotus leaf. Whether you go with beef or pork ribs, it always comes out hot, fragrant, and cozy. Total comfort dish. The pineapple bun is another great pick— crunchy on the outside, pillowy inside, with just the right hint of sweetness. I love pairing it with something savoury like satay beef. Sweet, salty, soft, crunchy— it checks every box.
For dessert, I never skip the steamed egg pudding. It’s silky, light, and not too sweet. The only miss for me was the beef and egg macaroni in coconut tomato soup— the tomato base was too acidic and overpowering.
The cafe itself is small, but the service is quick and efficient. Even when there’s a wait, you won’t be standing around for long. Worth it every time.“

“We had a lovely weekend meal at Hong Kong Banjeom with our kids. The jjajangmyeon and jjampong were delicious, and the tangsuyuk was a big hit with the kids! A great place to enjoy authentic Korean-Chinese food as a family. 짬뽕은 완뽕까지 했어요♡“

“The taste is very good, but the price is a bit expensive. I feel that there are very few types of side dishes, only plates of large dishes. It is a bit difficult to order food alone, so the store can consider adding some side dishes or half dishes.“

“The presentation of the dishes, the quantity and the taste were fabulous. The house was full on today's (Saturday) late lunchtime when we arrived. But we were seated shortly because of the 3-4 diligent young servers. We would like to thank Owen specially for his helpfulness and kindness so that we had a happy lunch!
We ordered deep fried spicy tofu which was just right for my palate to handle. The wrap of the beef steamed dumplings, or baos was thin with sufficient juice inside which is as good as the famous Chinese restaurant in First Markham Place. Last of all, the pork wonton in chicken soup was yummy too! Forgot to say the price was very affordable! Bonus!
I definitely will bring my family there in the near future. Hopefully we are going to see Owen again!“

“Authentic Chongqing cuisine — one of my favorite Sichuan restaurants in Toronto. The dining environment is clean, prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the flavors are spot on with no artificial gimmicks. The Chongqing noodles, dan dan noodles, sausage fried rice, buns, and various styles of pork intestine dishes are all my favorites. They also offer a variety of live fish dishes, but it’s best to let them know in advance.“

“The quality is very good for the price. The staff is friendly and seen and comfortable ingredients are fresh and prices flow. I will not review each item I ordered S7 pork chop cut lid for $5 is the best value. You get two full hot pork. Cutlets crazy good value and quality c3 potato slice. This one is not worth it. It was raw and had a weird taste. I also ordered r16 fish small chicken noodle soup and that had very good noodles. I like how it's Al Dante and one the noodles were different but I personallyante but some people might like it. Maybe just don't soak it in the soup so early put like half of it in and then eat and then put the other half later and one is $13.99.
Update may 20 visit 2025.
R16 is my fav. N1 r1 and f4 is just okay. I think f1 soup is good also better than f4 soup.“

“I came here once of dinner and once for dim sum. I find that dinner service was very good. The lady serving us that evening was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious; we ordered 8 dishes for the 5 of us to share, and we did not even make a dent hahaha... they portions are very big, and we took the rest of the food home. Highly recommend coming here for dinner :)
Dim sum was just madness - it was very busy on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm, with lots of people standing at the front door. I actually don't like loud and crowded space; we couldn't even speak at the table with just the 4 of us. My voice was completely gone after that. I do not recommend coming here for dim sum, not because the food wasn't good, it was just WAY too loud.
Parking: There are more parking spots up the ramp on the 2nd floor“

“Oct2024: third visit, and fond of the beef dry noodles, extra spicy and crispy pork bun. The special, marinated pork belly on rice with a braised egg is good too.
Have tried several of the side dishes and liked all of them: three delicacies in tofu, tofu with preserved egg, kelp salad, wood fungus salad, spicy beef tripe, crispy bun with pork and siu mai.
The noodles and sides are a good size serving for single diners. I think a noodle dish plus one side would be filling for most diners.
Rice noodles are also offered if you don't want wheat based noodles.
They also have lunch specials between 11:30am-3:30pm.
Seating is limited and austere, but service and food was excellent.
Not many places offer dry noodles and I thought this version was quite good and a decent serving size, will be back.
Vegetarian options: There are tofu dishes, vegetable dishes and dry noodle dishes made without meat.
The dry noodles sauce is made without meat or animal products and ingredients are listed in the menu: sesame paste, cilantro, green onion, sour green bean, dried radish.
Parking: Plenty of free parking, the restaurant is located in an office building surrounded by a parking lot.“

“Excellent Chinese restaurant, great atmosphere and delicious food, especially Lanzhou beef noodles. My girlfriend and I often lunch her, and because of the pandemic, we are now ordering delivery. “Pretty good place. I like it because it feels more friendly and less fancy than Congee Queen. The food is very similar, I think it’s the same company. A new special menu just came out - with innovative dishes like special mushrooms, rice noodle roll with beef and truffle flavour. Good job to the chefs for creating new dishes!
The prices are still Ok, they’ve gone up a lot since the pandemic but it’s still affordable for me. I have come here with many friends and the food is consistently fresh and tasty. Thank you Congee Wong, you make my life so much better. However, I find the servers a bit slow or inattentive at times but that might be because I eat alone often, during off peak hours. They have a great deal between 3-5 pm weekdays where there’s a special menu and you get either a HK milk tea, lemon tea, or red bean with ice cream drink free. I think people get the red bean with ice cream a lot in that weekday afternoon special. It’s very worth it. Everything else is fine.“

“Been here a couple of times before and have always loved their Peking duck. This time I took my whole family and had a feast. Food was great, not as oily as other restaurants. A little bit pricier but worth the spurge. Would come back again.“
“Nothing but great things to say. If you want some hot spicy soup on a cold day? This is the spot. Most places have semi-spicy soup, but if you want a challenge, this is your spot. The braised chicken is beautiful tender and flavourful. With the price, they do not cheap out on the serving size. With each bite I took it didn’t feel like the dish was shrinking but rather growing with how much meat they gave!! This review is not based off of one visit either. Every time I’ve eaten here it’s been nothing but consistent.“

“?Pan Pan Noodle Bar offers a great deal with a bowl, a side, and a drink for under $16! ?Their signature dish is the pan-fried noodles, but my personal favorite is their burning noodles. You can choose your own toppings? and spice level—I recommend the braised tofu, minced pork, and beef brisket, which are surprisingly tender and juicy.Other must-tries include ?the beef skewers (tender and meaty with a slight fatty taste), the saliva chicken (spicy but not overwhelming) and the crispy and juicy chicken cartilage!Thankyou? @panpan_noodle_bar? @innisophotos? I loved their salted fish chicken fried rice and bitter melon with fried beef. Very flavorful. Also, their fried squid is to die for!! So flavorful and so perfect for another bowl of rice.
Also, all dinner order comes with soup, which is also greatly appreciated.

“I’m Korean and I really love malatang, so I searched all over Toronto as soon as I arrived. Most places didn’t suit my taste at all.
But I found Bone Soup in North York through my own search and decided to visit — and it was honestly so delicious!
This is not a fake review; I genuinely came here after looking it up myself.
The ingredients are clean and high quality. While I’m in Toronto, I think this will be the only place I eat malatang!“

“I am very happy as a first-time customer. Hubby and I found this restaurant on our way home between Scarborough and Mississauga. Got 2 Cantonese chow mein dishes which were good and a lot cheaper than our local Chinese restaurant place. Too bad this place is too far to order to where I live, but I will keep this place in mind if I'm/we are in the area again“
“Just ordered via UrberEat - good portion and flavour, clean presentation which are the important 3 elements for take out. Some dishes are on promotion and they didn’t cheap out on the portion which shows good business sense (I will never order again from places that do that). Son, the Canadian born likes the Chicken Leg lunch and I enjoy more authentic dishes - it’s rare to find a restaurant we all enjoy so will order again!“

“Went to this restaurant after missing their other location at STC which closed a few years ago.
It’s located in a mall near Yorkmills and Leslie and parking in the evening was easy.
The interior is beautiful nice ambiance lighting - wooden fixtures. Nice tables.
I booked for a party of 10 and the management accommodated.
It wasn’t busy when I went which I wondered I could see a few take out orders being done.
So a couple of things. Sunday their hours close at 8- I booked my reservations at 7 and asked the restaurant if they close at 8 should I move up my reservation- they said no they close at 9.
Well sadly they still closed at 8 and we were rushed on our dinner…
We ordered 2 set meals and some dim sum.
With some confusion we only received the meal for 1 set order and the dim sum we ordered the 2nd set order didn’t come.
When we asked they said the kitchen closed and they were sure we already got the food.
I was worried I would have to argue about the missing meal but the manager was nice and credited it from the final bill.
The food was not as good as I remember from STC. The dim sum sizes were small. The dishes were ok but lacked flavour. As we go to other authentic Chinese restaurants in Toronto I felt it wasn’t that great for the price. Probably caters to Canadian palettes.
The staff was super friendly and responsive bringing out dishes water napkins etc.
they never asked us about tea which was too bad.
We were celebrating a birthday and they let us bring the cake and brought it out at the end with the lights off which was nice.
Other than the mix up food and being rushed out it was nice.“

“Love that there is one of these Hong Kong style cafes within Fairview Mall. The space is a bit tight but very clean and bright. Service was good and fairly accommodating. The milk tea was flavourful and silky. I had the instant noodles with chicken and ginger scallion oil. Not sure if it was because I was hungry but it tasted really good! I'm knocking off one star as the prices are a little bit high for this style of dining, but I also understand that the rent is probably very high at the mall.
Parking: Parking at this end of the mall can be a pain. If you don't mind walking a bit, there are lots of other spots at other mall entrances.“
