The gift card was purchased directly from Joey's, not a 3rd party. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived. When we we presented the gift card (electronically) our server went to speak with a ⁶manager and then returned to inform us that the $100 USD would be honoured in Canadian dollars. $100 USD is worth $144.50 Canadian dollars according to google when checked today. We paid the bill and tipped the service team 22% and left after effectively having $44.50 taken from us and our family member in what felt like to us, theft by conversion. The manager in question did not come to follow up after our expressing our disappointment JOEY's is already a very expensive restaurant. Further, the gift card information indicates that Joey's has US based restaurants. I'm quite sure that Canadian dollar gift cards are not accepted at par in the US. This ruined for us, what was otherwise a positive experience, through what felt like to us, an act of corporate greed and impersonal profiteering. After this experience we will not be back and sadly, I cannot recommend JOEY's as a place for anyone else to dine at. Any company that sells a gift card directly and then fails to deliver full value is patently dishonest, in my opinion.”

“Had breakfast with a group of seven. There was a small line when we arrived at 10 am and a longer line after we left at 11:10 am. All of us ordered something different and everything looked so good. Food was fresh, tasty, and portions were huge. Plus food came out rather quickly considering every table was occupied.

Service was excellent. The owner was there talking to customers and helping out. Like he said “this is not a hobby for me.” And it shows. Our server was kind and thoughtful. Someone at our table asked about the sausages and our server brought him one to try. I could write another 2 paragraphs about how good this place is. I will save you the reading just try the place.

The food was super fresh and the burgers were juicy. Definitely recommend sitting in and having your drink in a CHILLED MUG, a first for me in fast food.

They have a nice beverage and condiment area which has a handwashing sink and direct access to the dishwasher to give your dishes back.

Overall a nice experience. For some reason the floors are super slippery when wet, so maybe more rugs near the door and ordering area would help.

Dietary restrictions: They offer free lettuce wraps on their sandwiches. Great for people with gluten intolerances or are on a low carb diet!”

We went in the early evening when there was only a few tables - mostly couples on dates - but for some reason they were playing really loud, bad electronic club music with really trashy, exploitative videos of girls "dancing" in sleazy-looking night-clubs. Maybe they primarily have a student clientele this appeals to? But I've never seen something like it in a Chinese restaurant in either North America or Asia before, and it came across as really trashy and damaged what was otherwise a great experience. Consider keeping that stuff for later at night, if at all. I would have given them five stars without this issue.”

Called the phone line found on google and the response was essentially.. since you ordered on uber there is nothing we can do but tell someone... so I did that and told Ottawa Public Health Fyi to anyone who orders from toppers in stittsville UPDATE: ottawa public health has done an investigation and has determined that the most likely source of the object was from one of their suppliers. The business is contacting other businesses and reaching out to their suppliers to notify them that this has occurred. There is also a possibility that this could have occurred from the driver that delivered the food. While I am still not satirist wth the response from corporate I would like to point out that the blame does not appear to be on the individual store itself.”

I had the chance to celebrate my birthday at Aiana Restaurant Collective, and I have to say that the experience was exceptional from start to finish.

First of all, a huge thank you to Oliwer, our server, who provided impeccable service, combining professionalism, courtesy and great attention to detail. He knew how to make our evening smooth and pleasant, with precise recommendations and great energy. Special mention also to the bartender, who was generous enough to capture precious moments between my girlfriend and I with a Polaroid, a thoughtful gesture that really marked this special evening.

Aiana’s cuisine is a true tribute to quality ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors.

- Pig 🍏: A tasty dish where the sweetness of the apple and the texture of the quinoa enhance the richness of the pork, all enhanced by a delicate Robert Sauce.

“I have celiac so this is a chain I can have roast chicken and sauce. Roasted chicken without sauce is just not the same. That said it makes for a very empty plate and unfortunately the restaurant is not vey generous with the fries even though they don’t need to provide a bun. As a result, I’m still a little hungry when I leave (not the first time this has happened). A half chicken would be too much food so I wish they would at least provide more in terms of qty for the side dish, in this case fries, with the quarter chicken.

Atmosphere was fine but a portion of the restaurant needs some TLC.

Wheelchair accessibility: Although there appears to be no dedicated wheelchair parking, there is plenty of room in the parking lot to accommodate all types of accommodations for those with mobility issues. Unfortunately the doors are not automatic and do not feature a press button open.”

“Found this amazing, delicious, authentic Indian vegetarian restaurant on Baseline - Royal Paan. ( 1943 Baseline Rd, Ottawa, ON K2C 0C7). Usually not very impressed by Indian resturent in Ottawa but this one touched my soul. Worth trying. I have tried couple of dishes and they all were amazing Pavbhaji Dosa, Stuffed Kulcha Channa, Dhai bahala and Hakka Noodles. The amount of food was way enough for me. The place was clean and very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Prices are reasonable for sure. Already went 3 times and will be going again.”
