“My son and I dine at the Victoria Street Kitchener Swiss Chalet location most Fridays for dinner. Sue is our most favorite server who brings us lots of laughs and is an excellent server. Lina is the manager at this location who is very hard working, always helps in the dining room, and always gets customers seated promptly. All the other servers are also very friendly and very good at what they do. Food is always hot and fresh. Best ribs in town. This is our favorite Swiss Chalet location by far.“

“Came here for my birthday. We started off with spinach dip suggested by our server then got salmon and the steak sandwich. All the food tasted amazing. The service was amazing from Olivika she went above and beyond for us. She even packaged our food neatly for us. At the end we got a cake with a candle with happy birthday written in chocolate.

“I was at Swiss Chalet today and I have to say had an excellent experience! Greeted by Heather and sat down by heather and served by heather. That being said, clearly understaffed restaurant. She did her best everything was perfect! Kitchen was fast and very great food! But it was the service that made my day, after sitting at Montanas for 25 to 30 minutes without getting a drink. With several staff restaurant half capacity. Seeing other guests getting served and arriving after myself. Made me felt racially profiled at montanas! I left and cried in my car. Happy didn’t go home and I went to Swiss Chalet and met heather she did so much for everyone! Working alone! Please she needs a raise and helped not fare for her to do it all. Once again heather than you!“

“We had wonderful service and food at the Swiss Chalet on Fairway Road in Kitchener! We were seated almost immediately. Our professional and friendly server, Betty, stopped by the table within a couple of minutes and took our order. In the past, we have had horrible wait times at the Swiss Chalet on Weber Street (40 minutes or more) so we decided to give Swiss Chalet on Fairway Road a try. Boy, we were amazed and pleasantly surprised. We received our food within ten minutes. It was delicious! The chicken was tender and the market vegetables were cooked perfectly. Betty, our server, made the experience at Swiss Chalet all the better by the attentive and professional service that she provided. We will be back to Swiss Chalet, Fairway Road, Kitchener. “This is a great option for a good quality, sit-down meal on campus. The staff had some struggles understanding the drink orders and requests resulting in an incorrect drink order and quite a lot of time consulting with their co-workers to fix. They could use extra training on the menu as well. Even though it was a set menu they didn't have answers ready about the meal. Eg. What vegetables are with this? I think a little more training for the staff would have made this a 5-star experience as it was a delicious meal with great value on campus.“

“Nice spread at the breakfast buffet. Particularly enjoyed the overnight oats and smoothies. The omelette was oddly sweet (maybe the cheese in it), and the coffee did have a bit of a burnt taste. The rest was great though and the buffet selection is very good for the morning: pastries, fruit, beans, meat, pancakes, French toast and the like. Server was friendly, and there seemed to be managers and other staff roaming to check on guests and keep up the buffet areas. Reasonable price especially if you get a few plates and take advantage of the buffet.“

They have a good music system and cameras so you can enjoy the show from any place. The venue is also intimate. You are not more than 3 tables away from any place.

“These guys are the best. My truck quit at the drive thru speaker after ordering had to call a towtruck and I was worried about my 2 little girls in the back. They served us well and came out to help customers pulling in behind me. I fed my children while waiting for the towtruck it was there in ten minutes to my surprise. These situations can turn out to be horrendous but the whole staff ended up making this a pleasurable experience then I got towed back to Guelph. Nice driver and my little girls were happy playing passing the time in the back seat. Visit this location. You’ll get amazing service!“

“This is the best Harvey’s in KW area the store is very clean, the staff super friendly, the food very filling. We ordered the angus burger combo with poutine which is upsized. I had to have a chocolate shake it’s amazingly thick! Very fulfilling supper definitely coming back sometime soon!“

There was only one or maybe two staff members in the entire store handling everything, Food was good and the staff was super nice as usual.
It isn’t very pleasant because this location usually runs much smoother. Management needs to schedule more help, especially during peak hours. This is not the service I expect from Harvey’s.“
