“We recently signed up for the meal delivery program and cannot say enough good things! The food is really tasty. We eat a lot of Indian and Mexican food so we were concerned that the food might not be as flavourful as we are used to eating, but it far exceeded my expectations! The website is very easy to use from my phone. The salads are great because they allow me to eat raw veggies that I might not otherwise prepare for myself. I’ve already noticed an improvement in my digestion. The containers the food is in are durable and reusable/recyclable. The delivery is always on time. Once there was a very small mixup and I was immediately sent an additional complimentary entree delivered to my door. What a wonderful company, that I wish I had discovered sooner!”

I got the gladiator burger with an extra patty, mushrooms, extra cheese, a fried egg, grilled cheese buns, and bacon. We also got a poutine to go with our meal. The cashier was very friendly, opting me to modify that burger (Gladiator) because they don't sell the General Maximus anymore. The price came out to $37.30 for that and a canned coke. The price is reasonable, I've definitely been charged more for similar servings at different restaurants. I am happy with the experience.”

Items to choose from were a bit limited from a protein perspective, but we were more than happy to inhale beef brisket slices and seafood. Veggies and sides were great too. Ice cream cone at the end was great and the perfect way to end the meal. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the Hokkaido pudding.
Service was exceptional. Staff members were very attentive, consistently topping up our soup pots, pouring water for us, and getting our food orders. Seating time is limited to 1 hour and 45 minutes. Ample time in my opinion.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Daimaru. I highly recommend it, especially for their lunch special. We both ate for just under $60 including a tip!”

Came here for a late lunch today. It’s a cozy little spot — enough to fit ~20 people. Service was good and friendly.
The menu seemed smaller compared to the other bbq chicken I’ve been to, but the food was pretty consistent. Chicken was moist & tender on the inside. This location also does not (yet?) have a liquor license so they only had non-alcoholic beers and mocktails.
Parking: It’s a small-ish parking lot, but shouldn’t be too hard to find parking here. Most of the other stores in this plaza are generally quick in/outs and not the type to open late on weeknights or weekends.”

“We had the Uni tasting menu at Shizuku, and every dish was a masterpiece. The monkfish profiterole was unexpectedly one of the stars—perfectly balanced, rich, and delicate all at once. The abalone was incredibly tender and clean, and the trout was buttery with just the right touch of umami.
The highlight of the night, though, was the uni. We were lucky enough to try murasaki, aka and bafun uni, and they were truly exceptional—fresh, creamy, and luxuriously briny in all the best ways. It’s rare to find that level of quality uni in Toronto, and it completely elevated the experience.
Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance is understated and intimate. If you’re a seafood lover or a fan of refined Japanese cuisine, Shizuku is a must-visit.

The highlight of the night, though, was the uni. We were lucky enough to try murasaki, aka and bafun uni, and they were truly exceptional—fresh, creamy, and luxuriously briny in all the best ways. It’s rare to find that level of quality uni in Toronto, and it completely elevated the experience.
Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance is understated and intimate. If you’re a seafood lover or a fan of refined Japanese cuisine, Shizuku is a must-visit.

It is difficult enough being handicapped never mind having a surly woman telling us we are a problem. So, maybe this woman doesn't work on Sundays.
