“We came here for the first time and honestly had such a lovely experience! 🤍 Even though we came pretty close to closing time, our server Macai was so kind and welcoming. He and the rest of the staff were genuinely so friendly and made us feel comfortable.

And the Sophia Pizza… OMG! 🤌🏼 It was honestly the best! We absolutely loved it. Since it was our first time here, we tried the Happy Hour version, but next time we’re definitely ordering the regular one for sure!

“Have eaten here a few times. Each time service and food has been good. Atmosphere is nice.

We tried the deep fried sea bass this time but it was very oily and over fried and very rubbery which made it very difficult to eat. Once we managed to break a piece off there was little to no meat. The manager was kind enough to take 50% off this dish.

The vegetable tom yum soup was creamier this time but still good. The pork ribs meat is tender and has good flavour although it could use a couple of more pieces of meat in the dish.

The pad kee Mao was delish as is the pad see ew.

Given we’ve been eaten here a few times and the food is normally flavourful and well cooked, I still rated this restaurant 5 stars and would recommend and return.”

“Fantastic dining experience! This is a great spot for dining with friends, family, and in groups. The menu offers a balance of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The chicken kothu and dosa were both great. We also ordered a fish dish cooked in banana leaf — so flavourful, tender and delicious. The crab curry was excellent, though it definitely has a serious kick—so be warned! The Mango Lassi was the perfect way to cool down. The restaurant is spotless and the staff provides dedicated service. Having a hands-washing sink accessible to everyone near the dining area is a genius and practical touch for customers. Highly recommend!”

“This place has excellent quality food and friendly service. I ordered the chicken breast kebab dinner. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy and tasty! The naan bread is soft and fluffy. In fact, I can eat it by itself. The Greek salad is so fresh and I love the dressing. I like their Greek salad better than those at Greek restaurants. Overall, I am just happy to have a quality restaurant near my home where I can go to get quality food anytime.”

But the music was really loud and more like club music than lunch appropriate. The other diners were elderly so I’m not sure the music is appreciated. A manager came by and asked how everything was, and I mentioned the music which he said was controlled by the bar side of the restaurant. But he did say that they could lower the volume in the dining room and the bar could still be noisy.
Even that was an improvement.”

Locations do not offer the full breakfast menu at all. Since our first visit to this location we have found all of the staff to be so accommodating, courteous kind and very helpful. Diane was our young lady on the order desk, she like the other staff are worth their weight in gold as they excel in all of the customer service area that are essential to complete customer satisfaction. Diane and all the staff at this location are # TEN.”

“This is easily the best shawarma place I've had in years. The chicken was juicy chunks of chicken breast versus fatty pieces that I find a lot of other places opt for. Their sauces are soo flavourful and in my opinion, there is nothing that could improve the shawarma I tried today for the first time. It was also grilled to perfection. I will be back.”

“I had a really great experience at Pizza Hut and wanted to take a moment to properly recognize how good the overall service was. From the moment I placed my order, everything went smoothly and efficiently. The customer service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire experience. It’s always nice when you can tell that the people working there genuinely care about making sure customers have a positive experience.

What impressed me the most was the speed of the service. My order was prepared much faster than I expected, and despite how quickly everything was done, the quality of the food was not compromised. The pizza came out hot, fresh, and exactly how I wanted it. There’s something especially satisfying about getting your food quickly and still receiving a pizza that tastes like it was made with care rather than something that was rushed.

And of course, the pizza itself was delicious! The crust had a really nice texture, the cheese was melted perfectly, and the toppings were generous and flavorful. Everything came together really well, and it was exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered pizza. It was hot, cheesy, fresh, and genuinely satisfying. I definitely finished the meal feeling like I had made the right choice.

Overall, this was one of those experiences where the food, service, and speed all came together perfectly. Great customer service, quick preparation, and a really tasty pizza made for an excellent experience. I really appreciate the staff for doing such a great job, and I would absolutely order from this Pizza Hut again. It’s always worth mentioning when a restaurant gets everything right, and this location definitely deserves the recognition. Highly recommend!”

“We came because you have good reviews. We found out that Gyu Hito is an amazing go-to-place for delicious Japanese AYCE BBQ! The restaurant has a modern feel to it and the staff is incredibly attentive to our food needs. Such good service! The food itself is so tasty (so many different types of seasoned meats) and there are many yummy sides you can order as well! The most thing I like is the fruit tea, best combination with BBQ. Dessert is also something to look forward to because you can choose your favourite Melona popsicle and have it with a sweet creme brule dessert!”

On our last visit, we had a lovely waitress named Allie, who took care of our order. “Went to Bluffers Restaurant for a 60th Birthday this past weekend in October and I must say it was fantastic! We have been there several times over the past years including two weddings in the event space, and several corporate events which were all really good. This time we were in the restaurant portion of the facility, and although it is small, the setting is gorgeous, looking over the marina in Bluffers park! Service and food were exceptional! Since it was a larger group event, we had limited choices to choose from the fixed menu ... including a Surf & Turf dish as an option. I was floored when out dinners arrived to the table .. all served hot and on time. The presentation was amazing with a large steak on the bottom, and a lobster tail on top, surrounded by different vegetables. An exceptional meal that almost everyone had ordred. Maybe the best Surf and Turf I have ever enjoyed. It was that good. I wish I had taken a picture to includ here. The other dishes including a salmon dish were also really generous portioins, and good. And value for money .... I checked the price of the Surf and Turf dish on the main menu .... $60 including a steak and a lobster. Exceptiional value .. well over a $100 anywhere else. I don't normally write reviews, but this place is so deserving of this review. We will go back soon. I am a regular at The Keg,which I have found a little dissappointing the last couple of visits. Maybe this is our new spot. A little out of the way for us, but certainly worth the dirve. Thanks You to the owners of Bluffers Restaurant. A gem on thew waterfront!”

“Had a really good experience at Sumaq Iraqi Charcoal Grill in Scarborough. It’s a nice, casual spot with really generous portion sizes. I ordered the falafel plate with half rice and half fries, and it was honestly amazing.

The flavours were great, and I asked for it to be spicy, which they got exactly right. Everything was flavourful and satisfying. Definitely the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a proper, full meal.

Parking was also convenient, although the place is usually pretty busy. Overall, a great spot for a hearty and flavourful meal. Would definitely go back! 🌶🍚🍟”

“This is the best Swiss Chalet in the GTA! The food is always well prepared, the restaurant is clean and pleasant, and most importantly, the service is outstanding! So welcoming and friendly! Even the owner often walks around and says Hello. Everybody there is so personal. It feels like a family.

But the staff absolutely sucks the guy with the glasses is slow they don’t come up to you they just sit there you have to ask so many times for water I asked 6 times for a can of Coke I had to go and just get it my self from the fridge it’s absolutely ridiculous. Terrible service.”

“This place has the best dumplings, we got fresh pork and chives dumplings & beef dumplings. It’s handmade and tastes so fresh. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some delicious juicy dumplings! Dine in only has two tables, however it’s a very clean spot.”

“Takeout-only bakery with an assortment of small baked goods and drinks. I tried a few things, including the pistachio chocolate babka, the red pepper beef ciabatta and the lemon salted butter roll. All of them were great especially the red pepper beef ciabatta.The prices are on the high side but I would say it's worth it for the quality. Will be back to try the drinks and more of the baked goods.

“Been buying here ever since they opened, sashimi was my favourite go-to. However, their sashimi slices have noticeably gone thinner, almost like when you eat it you can’t really enjoy it as much as before. I hope they bring back their usual slices for sashimi.”

“We discovered Good Eats by Julian on Instagram and decided to give it a try for a family dinner. We ordered a variety of items, including the oxtail burgers, jerk chicken meals, and BBQ jerk chicken meals.

The setup is definitely unique—they operate out of a food truck in a GO Station parking lot. Because everything is cooked fresh, be prepared to wait a little while for your order. In our opinion, the wait was worth it.

The standout item for our family was the oxtail burger. My kids haven’t stopped talking about how huge it was and are already asking when we can go back for another one! The meal portions were a good, satisfying size, and everything we ordered was flavorful. If you’re trying to decide, I’d highly recommend the BBQ jerk chicken—it was a family favourite.

Overall, it was a unique experience that exceeded our expectations. Great food, friendly service, prices are fair, and we’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.”
