What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server, Ji Won, was amazing — attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. That kind of hospitality makes a huge difference and turned a good meal into a great experience.

“Loved the atmosphere and overall vibe at Unplug including service. I ordered chicken lollipop as an appetizer, along with a drink, fries, chapati, and Mughlai chicken for the main course. Everything was nice and well-presented. However, I personally felt that the Mughlai chicken was very creamy and slightly lacking in flavour. I’m not sure if that’s the intended taste, but it didn’t feel very authentic to me.
A small suggestion: when serving authentic Indian dishes, it might help to ask guests what kind of flavour profile they prefer. Some customer might be expecting a more traditional, spiced Indian-style curry rather than a milder, creamier version and don’t know which one they should order.
Just sharing this as feedback. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and the place has a great ambiance.”
“We recently signed up for the meal delivery program and cannot say enough good things! The food is really tasty. We eat a lot of Indian and Mexican food so we were concerned that the food might not be as flavourful as we are used to eating, but it far exceeded my expectations! The website is very easy to use from my phone. The salads are great because they allow me to eat raw veggies that I might not otherwise prepare for myself. I’ve already noticed an improvement in my digestion. The containers the food is in are durable and reusable/recyclable. The delivery is always on time. Once there was a very small mixup and I was immediately sent an additional complimentary entree delivered to my door. What a wonderful company, that I wish I had discovered sooner!”

Got a Warrior burger and doubled it up with some onion rings. Solid burger with the double pattys, very flavorful but messy so get you some napkins with your order. Pleasantly surprised with the onion rings, slightly sweet with a solid crispy coating. Recommended with Thumbs up! If you're around the Kennedy and 401 area, come through to Gladiator.”

Our server could of replenished our drinks before we finished eating, but it wasnt the end of the world. Just decided to not buy an additional round of drinks as we were pretty much done eating. As a customer thats okay, as a business owner they missed out on the upsale of a second round.”

I spent the afternoon helping an old friend and ex-colleague declutter her home, trying to help her find some structural order so this new phase of her life can actually begin.
Amidst that heavy lifting, we broke for lunch at Swiss Chalet. It is rare that a legacy institution delivers exactly what you need when you need it, but the execution today was seamless. We both ordered the Monday special, complete with the nostalgic utility of the finger bowls, but the true anchor of the meal was the staff.
We were looked after by two waitresses who managed a shift change mid-meal so fluidly it was entirely imperceptible. Their energy was lovely, efficient, and thoroughly ego-free. They provided an environment that didn’t demand anything from us, allowing us the rare room to just breathe, catch up, and celebrate the new baby.
Huge thanks to the staff today for making an exceptional, stress-free space for two old friends to reconnect.”

That alone is a great reason to visit but the food is really good too.
The menu now focuses on kalguksu and mandu (flavourful Korean noodle soups and dumplings, respectively). If you’re up town/ in the Scarborough area this is a great option for kalguksu.
All their food is really full of soul and flavour.

“This is a favourite of ours. My Aunt loves it and we all find the large menu and extensive beverage list to be great. The Scarborough location has kind staff who are friendly and accommodating. We always enjoy our meals and servers. The bartender makes great wine recommendations. I have liked several choices enough to purchase them at the LCBO. Seeing the servers just a bit more often would be nice. The tortilla chips served with the guacamole are always stale (3x in 2 months). Those are just tiny little things. They certainly won't keep us from coming back again and again. Kudos to all the staff!”

I spent the afternoon helping an old friend and ex-colleague declutter her home, trying to help her find some structural order so this new phase of her life can actually begin.
Amidst that heavy lifting, we broke for lunch at Swiss Chalet. It is rare that a legacy institution delivers exactly what you need when you need it, but the execution today was seamless. We both ordered the Monday special, complete with the nostalgic utility of the finger bowls, but the true anchor of the meal was the staff.
We were looked after by two waitresses who managed a shift change mid-meal so fluidly it was entirely imperceptible. Their energy was lovely, efficient, and thoroughly ego-free. They provided an environment that didn’t demand anything from us, allowing us the rare room to just breathe, catch up, and celebrate the new baby.
Huge thanks to the staff today for making an exceptional, stress-free space for two old friends to reconnect.”

Seeing the servers just a bit more often would be nice. The tortilla chips served with the guacamole are always stale (3x in 2 months). Those are just tiny little things. I ordered one of the soups, while my friends shared the beef and rice dishes. We also tried a few appetizers, and everything was delicious. The dishes paired really well with the rice, and the portions were generous.
The only downside is that they don’t really have many small dishes on the menu. Most of the menu consists of main courses and large family or party size platters, which are perfect if you’re dining with friends or family, but I wish there were a few more appetizer or individual options.
Other than that, the food was excellent, the service was amazing, and the tables were spacious and very clean. Even the washroom was spotless. Overall, we had a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”

We are mostly handicapped, using walkers or a wheelchair. I usually make the reservation, and specify a table near the lovely large windows. It has never been a problem on Sundays, but there seems to be one waitress who objects to our sitting near the window as we will "block" the servers. It is difficult enough being handicapped never mind having a surly woman telling us we are a problem. So, maybe this woman doesn't work on Sundays. We have been there several times over the past years including two weddings in the event space, and several corporate events which were all really good. This time we were in the restaurant portion of the facility, and although it is small, the setting is gorgeous, looking over the marina in Bluffers park! Service and food were exceptional! Since it was a larger group event, we had limited choices to choose from the fixed menu ... including a Surf & Turf dish as an option. I was floored when out dinners arrived to the table .. all served hot and on time. The presentation was amazing with a large steak on the bottom, and a lobster tail on top, surrounded by different vegetables. An exceptional meal that almost everyone had ordred. Maybe the best Surf and Turf I have ever enjoyed. It was that good. I wish I had taken a picture to includ here. The other dishes including a salmon dish were also really generous portioins, and good. And value for money .... I checked the price of the Surf and Turf dish on the main menu .... $60 including a steak and a lobster. Exceptiional value .. well over a $100 anywhere else. I don't normally write reviews, but this place is so deserving of this review. We will go back soon. I am a regular at The Keg,which I have found a little dissappointing the last couple of visits. “Takeout-only bakery with an assortment of small baked goods and drinks. I tried a few things, including the pistachio chocolate babka, the red pepper beef ciabatta and the lemon salted butter roll. All of them were great especially the red pepper beef ciabatta.The prices are on the high side but I would say it's worth it for the quality. Will be back to try the drinks and more of the baked goods.

“I came to this location to try the new Whopper. This restaurant location is inside the mall. The new Whopper did not disappoint. I recently learned a secret when it comes to ordering at any Burger King. When ordering, mention that you want your burgers “off the broiler” and you’ll get a fresh hot burger. I also used my crowns from the app to redeem my Whopper sandwich for free. The app definitely has its perks, my Whopper was free. The service was great, the food was great, and the location was busy. 5 star experience. Thank you Burger King’s hard working team.”
