“This place was absolutely delicious! We were three adults and two kids, and still had so much food left that we packed three takeout boxes. Including tip, the total was around $200 — great value for the quality and portion sizes.

We ordered the Family Garlic Naan and loved it so much that we immediately ordered a second one because one just wasn’t enough.

The Beef Kebab Karahi was incredible — hands down the best dish. If I wasn’t already completely full, I would’ve ordered a second portion without hesitation.

Service was excellent — Zain took great care of us and made the whole experience even better. We celebrated my birthday here and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!”

“Went in after I drove by tonight. As a vegetarian, I’m always on the lookout for new places to try…ordered their falafel wrap. The owner came out and explained that I could have my sandwich on either a pita, or on their house-made wrap “bread”, and that they can be topped by topping I choose , or in the traditional Lebanese fashion. I opted for the traditional on the house-made wrap.”, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. I cannot stress enough how delicious it was. Everything tasted super fresh and perfectly balanced. “Took 20 minutes from time we put in our order to when we got our food and we were the only table when we came in.

The chicken was delicious, crispy but juicy on the inside.

There are maybe a total of 7 tables in the restaurant so it is not good for big groups.

I found the restaurant to be stuffy and there were a lot of flies.. was not impressed.

Unsure if I would come again but I would be open to doing take out.”

“This is my go-to place for biryani. The best I've had! Light, fluffy and delicately spiced. The food is so good and the staff are so friendly it's like my 2nd home! The gongura biryani (veg or chicken) is probably my favourite, also really like the mughlai chicken biryani.”

Overall, I am just happy to have a quality restaurant near my home where I can go to get quality food anytime.”

“I recently organized a birthday party for my dad at Avenue Restaurant, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Brandon was incredibly efficient and helpful throughout the planning process, making the organization seamless. On the day of the event, everything ran smoothly, thanks to the attentive staff. The food was outstanding—everyone raved about it! The service was exceptional, with the team going above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. “Been to Onnuri on multiple occasions and each visit has been great! Service is excellent on most occasions and at times when it’s busy it can be a bit slow.

Korean Fried Chicken is crispy, juicy and made to order! My usual order is their 5pc chicken with a pint of Asahi. Other items from their menu which are just as good is their Soon Tofu and Bibimbap!

Overall, this is one of my favourite Korean spots to dine at and they have all the standard Korean dishes available on their menu as well. The taste is authentic and has a good kick of spice! Location can accommodate larger parties but always good to call ahead!”

The food was excellent, with delicious mains and desserts that everyone enjoyed. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly throughout the evening. Kathy was very responsive to our communication and made planning easy. Overall, Floga was a fantastic choice for our celebration, and I’d highly recommend it for large gatherings or special events.”

Diane was our young lady on the order desk, she like the other staff are worth their weight in gold as they excel in all of the customer service area that are essential to complete customer satisfaction. Diane and all the staff at this location are # TEN.”

I just tried this place for the first time and I’m incredibly impressed by the quality, flavour, and the superb service I received from the owner and 2 young ladies working tonight. They were all so kind and patient with me as I took my time deciding what to get. They were also really helpful with recommendations. I ended up going with the grilled chicken sub on whole wheat bread and it did NOT disappoint. My mom and I split it and tried it on the highway heading home, and it was so good that we exited the highway and made a U turn to go back and buy 2 more. This place is definitely a hidden gem. “Dessert Corner is truly a gem for anyone who loves quality desserts. I tried the house-made mango passion fruit ice cream, the thick shake of pure pistachio, and the thick shake of Oreo and vanilla and everything was absolutely delicious. You can genuinely taste the difference because the mango, passion fruit, and pistachio are all made in-house using fresh ingredients. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Honestly, a 10 on 10 experience.

What made the visit even more special was the service. Sneha was amazing, super friendly, patient, and welcoming. She even offered us samples, which was such a nice touch and really helped us choose. Her service made us feel valued and comfortable, and that kind of hospitality really stands out.

“The space is clean, warm, and intimate without feeling tight. Service was gentle and attentive (and very sweet about remembering no green onions for me 🥹).

Each piece of sushi tasted fresh and consistently good, with nothing trying too hard. No heavy sauces to mask freshness, no aggressive vinegar and just well-balance. You can really taste the freshness and creaminess of each piece. I also loved that they serve two types of ginger, each doing its job to reset the palate properly.

The chef was generous with off-menu recommendations and took the time to explain where each piece was from and how regions differ. We tried puffer fish milt for the first time, and the way it was prepared and seasoned made it surprisingly enjoyable. It's rich, delicate, and comforting rather than intimidating. I guess Japanese marshmallow is a suiting name.

All things considered, this felt like a very affordable omakase experience for the level of freshness, friendliness, and space. Quietly excellent, thoughtfully done, and definitely a place I’d return to.”

“This was my first time visiting The Burger Alley. The menu is Harry Potter inspired and all the names are so fun. We had the Sirius Black and the Dragons Kiss, a side of Alley fries and a deep fried Mozzarella piece. The owner's were so nice and welcoming. There is a huge window from where you can actually see into the kitchen and you will see how clean their kitchen and surroundings are. Will definitely go back and even suggest to my family and friends.”

I have ordered a Hawaiian pizza, there are loads of toppings on pizzas, thick cheeses, the bread is not dry, and the crust is with cheese on it. “Went to Bluffers Restaurant for a 60th Birthday this past weekend in October and I must say it was fantastic! We have been there several times over the past years including two weddings in the event space, and several corporate events which were all really good. This time we were in the restaurant portion of the facility, and although it is small, the setting is gorgeous, looking over the marina in Bluffers park! Service and food were exceptional! Since it was a larger group event, we had limited choices to choose from the fixed menu ... including a Surf & Turf dish as an option. I was floored when out dinners arrived to the table .. all served hot and on time. The presentation was amazing with a large steak on the bottom, and a lobster tail on top, surrounded by different vegetables. An exceptional meal that almost everyone had ordred. Maybe the best Surf and Turf I have ever enjoyed. It was that good. I wish I had taken a picture to includ here. The other dishes including a salmon dish were also really generous portioins, and good. And value for money .... I checked the price of the Surf and Turf dish on the main menu .... $60 including a steak and a lobster. Exceptiional value .. well over a $100 anywhere else. I don't normally write reviews, but this place is so deserving of this review. We will go back soon. I am a regular at The Keg,which I have found a little dissappointing the last couple of visits. Maybe this is our new spot. A little out of the way for us, but certainly worth the dirve. Thanks You to the owners of Bluffers Restaurant. A gem on thew waterfront!”

“This is my go-to place for biryani. The best I've had! Light, fluffy and delicately spiced. The food is so good and the staff are so friendly it's like my 2nd home! The gongura biryani (veg or chicken) is probably my favourite, also really like the mughlai chicken biryani.”

Every recommendation hit so hard it felt personal. He was fast, friendly, always smiling, and somehow everywhere at once—are there two Anurags? If great service burned calories, we’d have skipped the gym. Honestly, if this place ever loses Anurag, the menu should come with a warning label.”

“When I first entered the shop, there was someone inside, and I thought it was owned by an Arab or Syrian, since shawarma originated in Syria or is considered Arab. But the shawarma is amazing, the taste is delicious. They are kind people. There was a man inside who was from India, a very polite person. I really liked this restaurant.”

“Scarborough North just got a new gem — and it’s Pho Anh Vu’s latest location! This spot carries the same authentic flavours and warmth the brand is known for, now closer for Scarborough locals to enjoy.

The Chà Giò (spring rolls) were perfectly crisp on the outside, packed with savoury filling, and begging to be dipped into nuoc cham.

But it’s the soups that truly shine. The Phò Suon Bò Xí Quách was rich and hearty, with fall-off-the-bone beef ribs in a broth so flavourful it could stand on its own. The Phò Nąm offered comforting simplicity, while the Phò Tái Nąm combined rare tender beef with well-done flank for the perfect mix of textures in every spoonful.

“Unique and high quality, just like any Japanese bakery should be. Ask before buying. Some items are sweet and some are not (like Mashroom sandwiches). The sweet ones are mildly sweet, as if showing carefulness and control over use of too much sugars, and I like it allot. They also serve some excellent drinks including macha tea. Everything is unique and tasty. It's a very interesting place.”
