There are maybe a total of 7 tables in the restaurant so it is not good for big groups.

The owner came out and explained that I could have my sandwich on either a pita, or on their house-made wrap “bread”, and that they can be topped by topping I choose , or in the traditional Lebanese fashion. I opted for the traditional on the house-made wrap.”, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. I cannot stress enough how delicious it was. Everything tasted super fresh and perfectly balanced. Will definitely be adding this spot to my rotation”

“The food was great. I dined in here with a couple of friends around 9 and there was plenty of seating and parking. I got the gladiator burger with an extra patty, mushrooms, extra cheese, a fried egg, grilled cheese buns, and bacon. We also got a poutine to go with our meal. The cashier was very friendly, opting me to modify that burger (Gladiator) because they don't sell the General Maximus anymore. The price came out to $37.30 for that and a canned coke. The price is reasonable, I've definitely been charged more for similar servings at different restaurants. I am happy with the experience.”

Came w/ a large group of friends after a saturday badminton session.

You have to kinda enter from a sketchy back entrance. The server wasn't the friendliest but she was prompt when we needed her which was good.

The portion sizes are nice and big. They have pork bone soup which uses the traditional spine of the pig but they also have pork and pork ribs soup (which they're always sold out of .... sad face). You can get your gamjatang w/ noodles though which is cool.

I liked the flavour of the supreme chicken but it's a shame that the chicken wasn't that crispy. I say this with all honesty. The chicken was slightly overcooked because while the meat wasn't dry, it certainly wasn't juicy either. The taste was on point though.

4 stars overall (5 if the chicken had been crispy).

“This place has excellent quality food and friendly service. I ordered the chicken breast kebab dinner. The chicken is perfectly seasoned, juicy and tasty! The naan bread is soft and fluffy. In fact, I can eat it by itself. The Greek salad is so fresh and I love the dressing. I like their Greek salad better than those at Greek restaurants. Overall, I am just happy to have a quality restaurant near my home where I can go to get quality food anytime.”

“I popped in last Thursday night after an intense hockey game. The bartender Eva, took great care of us. The service was lightning fast, beers were freezing cold and the wings are out of this world and on top of it all they were half price. The big kahuna hockey club will be back again real soon.”

Diane was our young lady on the order desk, she like the other staff are worth their weight in gold as they excel in all of the customer service area that are essential to complete customer satisfaction. “This was my first time visiting The Burger Alley. The menu is Harry Potter inspired and all the names are so fun. We had the Sirius Black and the Dragons Kiss, a side of Alley fries and a deep fried Mozzarella piece. The owner's were so nice and welcoming. There is a huge window from where you can actually see into the kitchen and you will see how clean their kitchen and surroundings are. Will definitely go back and even suggest to my family and friends.”

“We had the Uni tasting menu at Shizuku, and every dish was a masterpiece. The monkfish profiterole was unexpectedly one of the stars—perfectly balanced, rich, and delicate all at once. The abalone was incredibly tender and clean, and the trout was buttery with just the right touch of umami.

The highlight of the night, though, was the uni. We were lucky enough to try murasaki, aka and bafun uni, and they were truly exceptional—fresh, creamy, and luxuriously briny in all the best ways. It’s rare to find that level of quality uni in Toronto, and it completely elevated the experience.

Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance is understated and intimate. If you’re a seafood lover or a fan of refined Japanese cuisine, Shizuku is a must-visit.

“Went to Bluffers Restaurant for a 60th Birthday this past weekend in October and I must say it was fantastic! We have been there several times over the past years including two weddings in the event space, and several corporate events which were all really good. This time we were in the restaurant portion of the facility, and although it is small, the setting is gorgeous, looking over the marina in Bluffers park! Service and food were exceptional! Since it was a larger group event, we had limited choices to choose from the fixed menu ... including a Surf & Turf dish as an option. I was floored when out dinners arrived to the table .. all served hot and on time. The presentation was amazing with a large steak on the bottom, and a lobster tail on top, surrounded by different vegetables. An exceptional meal that almost everyone had ordred. Maybe the best Surf and Turf I have ever enjoyed. It was that good. I wish I had taken a picture to includ here. The other dishes including a salmon dish were also really generous portioins, and good. And value for money .... I checked the price of the Surf and Turf dish on the main menu .... $60 including a steak and a lobster. Exceptiional value .. well over a $100 anywhere else. I don't normally write reviews, but this place is so deserving of this review. We will go back soon. I am a regular at The Keg,which I have found a little dissappointing the last couple of visits. Maybe this is our new spot. A little out of the way for us, but certainly worth the dirve. Thanks You to the owners of Bluffers Restaurant. A gem on thew waterfront!”

“Absolute gem in Scarborough! Where else can you get dim sum at 3am? The food can be a hit or miss (forget about getting general tao you're familiar with) but the dim sum never disappoints. Besides the convenience, what sets this place apart from other Chinese restaurants is the service. Alfred was our waiter and really made our dining experience excellent. Their service is on par wjth most restaurants. Can they be busy. Absolutely. I wish they remove the tables for take out.

“Small little cafe with no seating only allowed for take-out. The presentation of the bread is fantastic - everything looks artisanal. But the gripe I have with places like this is the price. In my honest opinion; $10+ for a bun, $8+ for a small cup of matcha latte? A little steep if you ask me (I get it, inflation, Toronto, yadda yadda yadda).

The flavors of the bun were good though - not too sweet, but not flavorless. The matcha lattes were good in their own regard being strong in matcha flavor. Aside from that, nothing else to write home about for this place. Not sure it made a good enough impression for me to purposely return, unless I was in the area.”

“Was wandering around the plaza and ended up at this cute little eatery where ookinza use to reside. The decor inside gives off Japanese vibes serving up Korean dishes. The dine in is counter seating. - Cute set up. The taste is definitely not your typical Korean soup spices but the pork bone was definitely fall off the bone and tender which some Korean places serve it very dry. The spicy fish and veggie soup was also different as the fish used I believe it’s snakehead where other places usually have that thick cut white fish which is meh. So I really enjoyed it. Definitely don’t set the expectation as authentic Korean dishes for these two dishes in terms of taste because it’s quite different. The pork bone soup had a lot of garlic in it but something about the soup base gave me sukiyaki flavours. The fish soup was slightly different as well but also can’t narrow down what it reminds me off but that one gave some Chinese spin to it. Although different I’d say it’s unique and good in their own way, I’d go back for their grilled meat options next time. For service there is a girl who takes your order and also the one that brings you food and periodically comes by to check on you. Very friendly. Lastly, you can purchase a membership for a year for $10 and it’s basically half price on their prices. -Totally worth it.”
