“Great new-ish place to get a healthy and quick meal. The ingredients used aren’t exactly top tier, but they do the job. If this place wanted to reach next-level, an investment in fresher lettuce, better quality chicken and overall crispier vegetables/fruits would make a world of difference. The prices also have room to increase with this investment in better quality.
Overall, good enough for the neighborhood, but when a new/better place comes around, I’ll try them out.“

“Just noticed the place a month ago, visited it after that, there is no ready made food…always fresh and hot…loved the BBQ Chicken Combo half fries and salad… so many flavors to choose from.. highly recommend… food and budget wise??“

“First time at Halibut House at Major Mac location which was recommended by a friend. Had the Cod and chips takeout. Such incredibly friendly service and the fish and chips were delicious and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back again! Highly recommend.“

“My wife is Persian and we live in Scotland. We are visiting family here and we went to the Deedar restaurant for dinner. The staff were very courteous, and very hospitable and the food was excellent. A wonderful menu and all the food we had was top class. I would highly recommend this restaurant. “The place is cozy and flavours were great! Portions are huge as well. We had the lunch special combo (Sauerkraut Fish) that includes a side dish, rice and a drink. They have spicy and non-spicy options for all palates with lots of add-on options too. Will definitely be back to try their spicy options next time!“

“This is my first time having seafood boil and it is the best I have ever ever had in my entire life. The food was so amazing I went back a couple more times throughout this month. This is the only place in the GTA that I have tasted such fresh lobsters. It was so amazing, and kudos to the staff. They are so friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu. I know this place will thrive.“

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“Been going here for 30 years. Always hits the spot. Fish is fairly expensive but at least you know it’s always going to be good. Place needs a bit of an upgrade as it’s starting to feel a bit grimy. Side note: their homemade T-Rex burger is one of the best burgers in Toronto.“

“Thank you Babushka Club for a wonderful evening! Thank you to our wonderful server (Dmitry) -his professionalism, efficiency and care were unparalleled. He ensured that each guest was fed, was alive to dietary restrictions and was kind and courteous throughout. I am very picky but the food was delicious. The owner/mc dedicated time to each party and made everyone feel special. Dmitry took wonderful and thoughtful videos and pictures of us all. Everyone we've dealt with was courteous and professional. Music was great. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!! Can't recommend this place enough!“
