“I’ve had an amazing meal at Aloha Poke and couldn’t be more impressed. The poke bowl was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and generous portions. Every bite was satisfying, especially with the variety of toppings and sauces they offer.
What really surprised me (in the best way) was the avocado milkshake. Creamy, refreshing, and subtly sweet — it was the perfect complement to the poke bowl and something I didn’t expect to love as much as I did!
The staff was friendly and the vibe of the place matched the food: relaxed, vibrant, and full of good energy. If you’re craving a healthy, tasty meal with a tropical twist, Aloha Poke is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!“

“First time at Halibut House at Major Mac location which was recommended by a friend. Had the Cod and chips takeout. Such incredibly friendly service and the fish and chips were delicious and perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back again! Highly recommend.“

“My wife is Persian and we live in Scotland. We are visiting family here and we went to the Deedar restaurant for dinner. The staff were very courteous, and very hospitable and the food was excellent. A wonderful menu and all the food we had was top class. I would highly recommend this restaurant. “The place is cozy and flavours were great! Portions are huge as well. We had the lunch special combo (Sauerkraut Fish) that includes a side dish, rice and a drink. They have spicy and non-spicy options for all palates with lots of add-on options too. Will definitely be back to try their spicy options next time!“

“This is my first time having seafood boil and it is the best I have ever ever had in my entire life. The food was so amazing I went back a couple more times throughout this month. This is the only place in the GTA that I have tasted such fresh lobsters. It was so amazing, and kudos to the staff. They are so friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu. I know this place will thrive.“

“I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“Been going here for 30 years. Always hits the spot. Fish is fairly expensive but at least you know it’s always going to be good. Place needs a bit of an upgrade as it’s starting to feel a bit grimy. Side note: their homemade T-Rex burger is one of the best burgers in Toronto.“

“The Lady Emma is very helpful & the shop is very clean! I entered to have my fill of fish & chips! Unfortunately they may not be licensed to be a partial dinner cum gourmet fish boutique! There were fortune cookies & the numbers invite me to play the lottery! There are also a lot of peppermint Lindt chocolate, which I have not tasted before & various others & authentic Chinese jujitsu & candies! The gourmet fish stall caters to caviar lovers, black & red, anchovies, trout pate, lobster bisque, crab, giant shrimps, salmon & par excellence Norwegian Steel trout & Wasabi & shrimp, & various sauces & capers & vermicelli to spice up your soups! It is an appetizer for those who delight in entree as the Spice Of Life!

“Very good place, friendly accomodating staff and well made delicious food. We had omelets, one vegetarian and one with ham, and both were delicious. Come with crispy potato wedges, also very delicious. Good capuchino, good tea, with clean (not tap) water. Big deal for me.“

“I have been going to Babushka Club for a few years now to celebrate other events, and I can honestly say the atmosphere, service, and food quality remains amazing! I decided to have my 25th birthday party at Babushka club, and it did NOT disappoint! All of my guests made mention of how delicious the food is, and how fantastic the service is. A huge shout-out to Valeria, Gabriel (Gabi), and Ilkin for taking care of the entire table. They always made sure that everyone was taken care of and that everything was always cleaned and organized. The three of them truly made such a positive impact on my night because it can be a bit nerve wracking to host so many people, and they helped so much. The service, food, music, and atmosphere was a 10/10 and I would definitely recommend everyone to come here and celebrate their birthday at Babushka Club!“
