“I had an absolutely amazing experience at Babushka! From the moment we arrived, I was impressed by how clean and beautifully designed the restaurant was. The outdoor seating area surrounded by flowers created a wonderful atmosphere. The best part was the food — every dish was presented beautifully and served individually to each guest. In today’s world, we don’t just look for quantity, but for quality, a personal touch, and excellent service, and Babushka delivered on all fronts. Our waiter, Dima, was incredibly friendly, polite, and professional. The owner, Pasha, was respectful, attentive, and added a touch of humor that made the experience even more enjoyable. He personally greeted everyone and made us feel special. The dancers performing on stage added so much energy and excitement to the evening. They truly elevated the atmosphere, making it feel like a real celebration. The washrooms were spotless and stocked with hand towels, which I really appreciated. The music was just right — lively but not too loud, with a great mix of different cultures and breaks so guests could talk or dance. “It was a very nice visit that we had. The food was great. It was a bit hard to understand how the menu is set up. We mainly went in for the sushi burritos but I got confused trying to order because the menu only says the ingredients for the Poke bowls, and then mentions that sushi burritos were available. The staff was really hard to communicate with and hard to understand. Apparently the same ingredients that go in the poke bowl can go in the burritos but it took us like 10 minutes to understand that from them. They were very friendly but just hard to communicate with. The food was amazing, alot of options for the set menu plus you can make you poke bowl with so much options, they just need to work on the topings pricing because even though you get 2 toppings free for example, some of them are not free even if you picked only one, which didnt make sense to me.The ingredients were fresh and very tasty and is was so loaded neither me or my wife could finish our respective bowls. I think we had the medium bowl, so if you go there keep in mind that one medium bowl serve more than one person. Would go there again now that I have everything figured out 😊 The food was amazing.“

“Maybe its just me but all fish and chips places are expensive these days huh...I got the fried cod for around $16 (including tax) but it was pretty big. Seasoning is great and it was fried to perfection. This is the only place I'll go to for fish and chips. If youre not sure what type of fish you want, they have 3 and will recommend based on what you like. Ex. If youre looking for something less fishy“

“I went in Mr Fish in a late night!
Personally I liked the food I ordered. But I won’t say it’s the best fish restaurant I’ve tried. Mind you, I’ve tried quite a number, so I’m picky 😋 my friend didn’t like as much.

When I came in, there was a couple there. When I left, a few groups came in the restaurant. Mr. Fish is moderate in size so it won’t allow several big groups. I liked the decorations and cute setup. Customer service is great. Staff is polite and when I packed, server gave this adorable bag. Takeout package is great too.

In the dishes ordered, I liked their beef dish and cheese (or yam) balls. The fish wasn’t the best but it was alright.

“This is my first time having seafood boil and it is the best I have ever ever had in my entire life. The food was so amazing I went back a couple more times throughout this month. This is the only place in the GTA that I have tasted such fresh lobsters. It was so amazing, and kudos to the staff. They are so friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu. “I've been to Yu Seafood Yorkdale several times. An upscaled restaurant near all the high-end retailers. I bought my nephew here during his business trip and everything is good, and the bill was paid without going through the details. Not until I got home and found out one of the dishes was missed out from the dinner set for six. I called the restaurant the next day and the general manager Neilson responded promptly. It could be a human error and promised to compensate on my next visit. Having said that Yu is a great place to enjoy dinner or lunch despite of the mistake they have made on my last visit.“

“I went to Chubby's tonight. I haven't been there for over 30 years, and it was fantastic. I ordered 2 small halibut and chips and a banquet burger, and fries for me. The banquet burger had 3 slices of peameal bacon on it and was fantastic. What a great place. I will be going back soon.“

The restaurant opened last year, and this was our first time there. After seeing so many great reviews online, we decided to check it out. We were greeted right away and seated where we preferred. Our server, Sarah, was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and helpful in guiding us with our drink choices. Between the four of us, we ordered: Chicken wings with fries Onion rings Garlic bread Buffalo chicken wrap with fries Braised beef stone-fired pizza Everyone agreed the food was excellent. I had the pizza, and it was sensational—the beef was tender and perfectly portioned, pairing beautifully with the onions and mushrooms. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, whether you’re enjoying a meal on the patio, dining indoors, or sitting at the bar surrounded by plenty of TVs. Service was impeccable. The washrooms were very clean, though they are located in the basement. If you’ve had a few drinks, you might prefer the accessible washroom on the main floor, as the stairs are steep.
