“If you're craving authentic kebabs in Waterloo, Kebob Shack is the place to go. I recently visited with a big appetite and left completely satisfied. We ordered the Bihari Kebab with rice and salad, Chicken Kebab with rice, Chicken Skewer with rice, and the Mix Kebab with rice and salad. Every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly.

The Bihari Kebab was the highlight for me. It had that authentic smoky taste and tenderness that instantly reminded me of the kind of kebabs you rarely find outside of South Asia. The seasoning was spot on, and it paired perfectly with the rice and fresh salad. The chicken kebab and chicken skewer were juicy, flavorful, and grilled just right. The mix kebab platter was also fantastic, giving us a chance to try different varieties, and every bite was delicious.

What I appreciated most was how fresh everything tasted. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the food arrived hot and fresh. It's not easy to find truly authentic kebabs that hit the spot, but Kebob Shack absolutely delivered. They genuinely fulfilled my craving for real, authentic kebabs in Waterloo. I'll definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves great kebabs.”

“I want to personally thank the team at Sole for such an amazing birthday dinner !! The few times I have come I have always had a great experience but when I went to book online it looked like it was full booked up. Aniko saw my post looking for different options made it happen and found us a table! I thought that was the great deed end there but the whole experience made me feel so extremely special. Being welcomed in like I was a friend to when I got to my table I had flowers and a birthday card waiting for me🥹 those who have December birthdays know we often get slacked but the team made me truly feel special! Drink options were delicious and made fresh. Had a baked Brie with fresh mixed berry sauce as an appetizer. Dinner was phenomenal I had smoked chicken (tasted like the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had) and for dessert they came out with a special birthday crème brûlée and truffles! As a group we also ordered the triple layer chocolate cake (will be something I will be dreaming of for a while haha). To share what my friends had- a salmon with a salad and beef short rib. Everything was so delicious and cooked perfectly. You can tell they take time to think about proper pairing/flavouring and how to make the food taste good. Choosing Pizza calmed him down but when food arrived, Anika had both chicken and pizza as she didn’t like to see an upset child. This was above and beyond and greatly appreciated. We will be coming back and hopefully have Anika again. 10 stars for Anika”

Unfortunately, we watched another guest become very upset and rather rude towards a young hostess before even being sat, and thankfully they chose to leave. “Pretty sure I was told this is the busiest mcdonalds in Ontario, or maybe Canada. Either way. Overall a very good place. It gets leniency for the people they get at nighttime cause they don't have control over it. But they do very well for their location and busyness”

“The food and the service is just fine, but the menu on the screens in store hardly ever shows all menu items nor does the Tims app if you want a sandwich you pretty much have to order from memory unless you want one of the steak sandwiches, then you can order it in the app since those 3 are the only sandwiches the app ever shows for me. Makes the ordering process less fluid than it could be. Also, the urinal in the men's bathroom is wore out and has been for a long time. It needs to be replaced as the drain has so much buildup in it that it barely flows. Time for some serious deep cleaning and maintenance. The place is usually not very clean, at least in the washrooms.”

“Always very kind staff. Really quick service and nicely staffed even if they are getting slammed on a Friday night. Washroom access is by request of a key, but you dont need to buy anything to use it thankfully. Not a lot of places let you do that.”

“Hands down the best coffee to align to my taste. Has good amount of seating. The last visit for Dine-in left a sour taste however. My coffee along with several other orders were continued to be kept at the counter. The display kept showing my order was in progress along with every other order (obviously it was not working/helping). No one was calling for names to get their order picked up (had few others waiting alongside with me). After good 10 mins of waiting, looked into the pile myself and grabbed my order of coffee. Requesting either to fix the screen so it gets updated or at least call out the name in the order (like every other Tim Hortons does).

I will still go, but will prefer Drive thru (the drive path has a big water drain - which I dont think we can do anything about it, but could have avoided while desining the pathway).”

“Our whole family gathered on Saturday, 25 strong to celebrate our parents lives. Thank you Millie for great service and a big thank you to the kitchen, Andy and staff , for a fantastic meal. Kids loved the saganaki and the adults all raved about the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich and of course the souvlaki. Been a regular here for a number of years and have enjoyed every meal. “The food here is always really good and affordable, especially for two people. My usual order is the volcano chicken cold ramen and the spicy fried rice cakes. Both are packed with flavor and never disappoint. The portion sizes are amazing so you definitely get good value. not to mention they have HALAL options as well which is definitely a plus.
The service is also great. The staff are friendly and quick to help with anything you need. The place has a relaxed type of vibe, which makes it perfect for a casual meal.

“My boyfriend and I absolutely love the taste of their yang yum red chicken! I've only been to a Korean BBQ so to find something like this small place in Waterloo is perfect. I original came for the kimbap but fell in love with the chicken and bulgolgi bao sandwich. Highly recommend the yang yum meal set because it comes with so much and the japchae noodles are delicious!”

I had no idea what to add, and i love a chicken greek salad so that inspired my toppings (mozzarella, feta cheese, lettuce, green peppers, cucumber and tomato) and dressing style (greek feta, olive oil, garlic mayo). I rate it a 9/10, honestly. My total was $20.32, kinda pricey but honestly worth every buck. That price was after I got a 15% discount and added chips and a mango smoothie (the owner said it was a family recipe from their mother, and it smacked!). I'll defintely come back for a sandwhich”

Staff was friendly and cheerful but the wait time was actually really bad. Had I known it would take 25 minutes to receive one bubble tea, I would have gotten my drink before my lunch. Unfortunately couples coming in after me were receiving their drinks before I did. Love the new straws and can overlook that they do break easily, because they’re much better than paper!”

“The prices at this place are pretty good. 2 rolls for $10 is the daily special. We got the spicy salmon and crab avocado roll ($10 daily special). The weekly special (around $12.95) which is the dynamite roll and spicy salmon roll and then lastly the salmon poke bowl (around $17.95).

Usually when I eat sushi I feel like I got hit by a truck after but when I ate here I felt great. The salmon tastes amazing and they give you big fatty pieces in the poke bowl. The texture of the rice is different than other sushi places though. I can’t put my finger on how it’s different, it’s not a bad thing though and may have contributed to why I don’t feel so full and bloated after. I am definitely coming back here again for a quick sushi fix!”

“*Caution** Went to this venue for the first time on Friday. There were 2 men luring women who were there alone offering to get them 'closer to the stage'. They happened to approach my friend, and we watched it happen. When I went to my friend and asked how she met them, and she asked if she was okay, she disclosed that they were touching her inappropriately and was blocking her from talking to me. Security was told, bald man about 5'5" and a women security officer approached me. I told them what happened and instead of following up they asked me to leave with no reason provided. Either the security was incompetent or knew the perpetrators. Will never return. Please watch out for each other because those who are there to 'keep you safe' are clearly not. The owner and police are being contacted to provide this information. Disappointing do better protecting your patrons.”

They provided a wide variety of meat and vegetarian sandwiches, and not a lacklustre choice among them. The chicken salad on croissants were exceptional, but my favourite was the salmon. The breads and buns were very fresh and the fillings generous. No skimping. John Paul was easy to work with; all my questions and special requests were met with clear and prompt replies. And the pricing is reasonable, worth every penny. A reliable business I will certainly use for future events.”

What I appreciated most was how fresh everything tasted. The portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the food arrived hot and fresh. It's not easy to find truly authentic kebabs that hit the spot, but Kebob Shack absolutely delivered. They genuinely fulfilled my craving for real, authentic kebabs in Waterloo. I'll definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it to anyone who loves great kebabs.”

“I was craving late night fast food so thought of ordered from Popeyes and it did not disappoint.

The onion rings as side were really crunchy and nice. The burger itself had a really big size fried chicken and all works definitely turned out to be nice. We ordered a combo through Uber Eats and I believe it was on offer so under 30$ we got meals for 2 with drinks.

Definitely suggest as late night food around Waterloo.”

The dining room and washroom were clean, the food was well prepared and tasted good however what made the biggest difference was the service provided by Akshay. Welcomed with a smile, Akshay took the time to explain our options to us, made 2 amazing burritos, opened our Jarrito for us and provided further coupons for future visits. I think other restaurants should learn a lesson here. Too often, we pay high prices for cold food and lousy service. Keep up the great work, we will be back!”
