Appreciated that we didn’t feel rushed by the waiter or that the restaurant was trying to keep the guests revolving through as fast as they could. Was not expecting a few menu items with Asian flair, highly recommend pairing the chilled tom kha mussels and shrimp udon. Husband said oysters were the best he’s had. Really enjoyed having some different drinks to try, like skin contact wine and Amari. Will definitely be back!“
“Went for cocktails, which were lovely and not crazy expensive. Food, including oysters and a small plate of cheese ended up costing over 70 per couple averaging three drinks for two. Great environment. Nice staff. Just seemed pretty pricey for food. But, who am I kidding? I never go out anymore!“

“Incredible! Love the western bayou vibes in this place. You can feel the history of guests past in the bar. I was there during happy hour and had a few appetizers, two entrees, and a handful of drinks and only spent $100. “I'm so happy they opened a location in Beaverton! I love that the menu doesn't mess around. Pick your meat, add ons and sides and be ready to enjoy an incredible meal with your family and friends. Dishes are essentially family style and the flavors are bold yet balanced. Don't skip on upgrading to the garlic rice and my daughter said the pancit canton is the best she's ever had. “Despite the restaurant being quaint, the energy inside is electric! The posters on the wall are just so cool, my friends and I tried to identify all the movies (and dramas?) we've watched. And the food is so delicious! We had the corn dogs which were delicious, and the tteokbokki was amazing! We also ordered the spicy sweet and regular soy garlic chicken and they were really good, too. I think the spicy sweet could be a little spicier as well. And the bossam! I still think about it at times. It was delicious! I want to go back ASAP.“

Instantly loved the atmosphere as soon as we walked in to be seated!!! “We visited on a Sunday afternoon, so it was expected to be crowded, but we were able to get a seat. We ordered the Szechuan Wonton with Chilli Oil, Mapo Tofu with Ground Pork, Eggplant with Ground Pork, and Steamed Rice. Actually we were disappointed that our favorite Chinese restaurant was closed, but all the dishes here were delicious enough to rival it. The Mapo Tofu was the best I've ever had. I would love to try other dishes here as well.?04/14/2024We came here to try the other dishes because we enjoyed all of them last time. We had the Dumplings, House Special Garlic Pork Spare Ribs and Leek & Pork Dumplings this time. I personally didn't like the Dan Dan Noodles because the peanuts were too overpowering (so, actually Frank's is still my personal #1 choice yet). The spare ribs were salty and brought out the flavor of the ingredients, which my husband liked a lot, but I prefer them braised in soy sauce and tenderized, so the strong smell of pork was not good for me. The dumplings were delicious.?✨“

“This was probably one of the best meals I've ever had during my time in Portland. And I've lived here my whole life. The smoked Halibut and cheese board did most of the heavy lifting in that respect.The cocktails were very tasty.The Brussel sprouts and the bread were also fantastic. The sturgeon was delicious, except that the lemon caper sauce was a little bit bland. The Caesar salad was meh, and the salmon that we got with the salad was ordered medium but arrived rare.Over-all, I'll definitely be coming back, i just probably won't be getting the salad.“
“The strak was tender and succulent. I had it medium rare. The wait staff was less than stellar and we waited for at least 30 minutes for a waiter after being seated. Not a good look. There may have been a mistake or a table assignment error. Once the waitress came she was great. The food was excellent as usual.“
“If you're contemplating which pasta might be best, get the Lamb pappardelle. It's one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. There truly is nothing bad on the menu, but the tortellini e pesto is a good alternate. It's a really chill restaurant with decent service and great food. I was, however, slightly disappointed in the tiramisu. It just wasn't what I was looking for, and wasn't a classic tiramisu flavor that I was anticipating.“

“We stopped here for lunch and loved it. Great fish tacos and a good margarita. We came back a second time for lunch and the food wasn't quite as good, but still a nice meal. We went for breakfast our last day in town and was not impressed. I'm told they're famous for their breakfast, so maybe we just made bad choices. I had the corned beef hash and it had very little flavor and was quite chewy. One of my poached eggs was good, the other overcooked. My husband had Sammy's scramble, which was mostly hash browns. Huge portions if that's a consideration, but I left most of mine. Might go back there again for the fish taco if I were in town.“

“2024 Update: Been here nine times now since 2022, & in that time we haven't been anywhere else more than twice, & also we live 25 mins away, & also we've been most everywhere else noteworthy in Portland. That we keep coming back here hopefully tells you how incredibly wonderful we think it is. It's like Banff and Jasper where, yeah we could go other places, but might as well keep coming back here til they stop being so much better than anything elseCurrently the salmon with saffron/cured garlic aioli and crispy potatoes and green garlic salsa verde is unbelievably good, easily one of the best things we've ever had, a lifetime memory we'll never forget. The type of thing you take a bite of and time slows down and a smile creeps onto your face and you just want to make the feeling last forever. And you say something like "aaah oh my god this is insane". But we expect to find something new like that every time we come, they always have at least 3-4 of the best things we've ever had on the menu at any given time no matter the season. I have this ranked 3rd overall only behind Nodoguro in Portland, which is 3x the price, & Robuchon in Vegas, which is 5x the price. Ahead of Kann, Langbaan, Tercet, Le Pigeon, Urdaneta, way ahead of Jacqueline, etc etc.--Update again: been here 5 or 6 times now and every single time it's Just Amazing. There're other places as good as this in Portland but all of them are twice the price (tercet, le pigeon, langbaan)--One of the best restaurants we've ever been to (#2 specifically), & the best in the PNW so far. So many interesting unique flavors, everything so creative and delicious. The scallops specifically were one of the best things I've ever had, also loved the octopus, the crab beignets, the root vegetable trio, the chocolate mousse. $75/person with 4 courses each.Update: Been here two more times and every time we come we have at least a couple new "one of the best things I've ever had" dishes. The new gnocchi with the belper knolle is about the most comforting thing I've ever had, the freakin burger is unreal. For the price, under $100 per person, I can't recommend any restaurant more highly than this“
“I actually dream about their crab in between visits. The large order is the perfect size for sharing and at an utterly reasonable price. The owner is a doll- a genuinely good person who will treat you right and feed you even better. The tables nearby have heaters in the winter and shade in the summer. Highly recommend!“
“After a long day of traveling, We stopped at Il Solito for a late dinner (conveniently located next to our hotel). My husband and I just split a couple of apps (meatballs and focaccia bread). It was absolutely amazing! The food was so fresh and flavorful. The wine recommendation for RJ, our waiter was perfect! Speaking of RJ, he provided top notch service. He was friendly, professional and extremely efficient. If dining at Il Solito I highly recommend asking to sit in his section! Well done Il Solito!“
“We recently dined for our Wedding Anniversary. I tasked my husband with selecting a spot we'd never been with great food and a casual atmosphere. While he would've happily taken me to an upscale establishment, we simply wanted to celebrate in a laid back way. He made reservations to sit in the bar and they were very accommodating. We ended up at the bar, which we prefer. The atmosphere is very unique with a lot of beautiful wood. The structure is what I think is an old house and includes quaint outdoor seating. Had the temp not been in the 90s, we would've definitely sat outside. The Bartender was friendly and helpful with menu selections. I enjoyed a martini and my husband chose wine. We began with crabcakes which were flawless! The Caesar salad was wonderful as well. It included more of the leafy part of the romaine where I prefer the hearts but small thing really. Our shared entree was Alaskan halibut which was prepared simply and beautifully. We were treated by the house to a small lava cake, topped with high quality vanilla ice cream and fresh berries and it was delightful! All in all, we would definitely return to Baird's on B. We could tell that many customers were regular locals and I can see why. What a cute place to be able to walk to. On a sidenote: a group of young ladies, under legal drinking age were seated at a table nearby and they ordered various mocktails. We watched the preparation and these drinks were works of art - including fresh muddled fruit. With a growing trend of adults choosing to forego alcohol, nice option!“

We ordered the saltado with steak and the ceviche as well. The steak was soooo tender. The sauce had good umami flavor. The fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Rice had such a good seasoned flavor. I will think about this dish for a while. The ceviche was also really good. I loved the mango and passion fruit to add sweetness. I didn't expect fried fish and fish chicharrones. So yummy.It might be a bit pricey, but the food is SO good!“

There's a great mix of seafood offerings alongside classic American proteins. No matter who you are, you can probably find a dish here. This location features seasonal outdoor dining, though you basically face a noisy busy parking lot, unless you are over 21 you can enjoy their quirky indoor-outdoor bar setup.“

The service is fantastic with what seems to be the right level of revisiting to be helpful and non-suffocating.Food looked wonderful and tasted good. I'm still trying to give fish tacos a chance but it isn't working out. I'll need to keep looking for the fish taco for me. But the cider-esque beverage I ordered was crisp and refreshing. My lobster bisque was different but flavourful. I'll need something in the future to dull a bit of said flavor, it was a little much for me but still quite an experience! Two of us had half sandwiches with a cup of potato cheese soup. It was very good. I was also pleased that they had Heineken 0.0 which is one of the better na beers.“
