“The place was extremely busy and there seemed to be only one waitress on the floor, but she seated, provided menus, took orders and delivered the food all in a very timely manner. She was working her buns off and was still very pleasant and accommodating. The older waitress stayed behind the bar seating area and talked with one customer, but the one who waited on us was fabulous, the food was very generous and well prepared, and tasty

“Whenever I visit Portland, I make sure to stop at this matcha shop. They have a wide variety of matcha treats, including ice cream, snow cones, lattes, and matcha floats. The edible gold matcha ice cream cone is a special favorite. They also change their soft serve flavor regularly. Matcha goes really well with mochi balls. It’s the best matcha I’ve ever had every time I visit.“

“Clean, whole ingredients and the taste proves it. I’ve purchased every flavor suited for coffee, including their chocolate. Hands down the best, freshest tasting syrup I’ve had. A little goes a long way. I have repurchased my favorite flavor combo: fresh apple crisp and the brown sugar simple syrup. The glass bottles are also gorgeous and look great displayed by my espresso machine. Order them all!“

“We found Nossa Familia Coffe while searching for local shops with Swiss Water Process decaf coffee. It was really good. I bought a bag of it and plan to make it stronger than what they serve. The strength (weaker than what I prefer) of it is my only slight complaint. The flavor was lovely and I couldn't detect any acidity. Silky smooth americano. My kiddo got matching and husband got a spicy mocha drink. Everyone enjoyed their beverages. We frequent Portland and would definitely return and recommend to others.“

“I cannot stress how good this place is. The coffee is exceptional, the food- so good. Do you like avocado toast? Well, come on down! You like buffalo chicken wraps with croutons and blue cheese? “Wow! We have been fans of Dean's Homestyle Cafe for many years. When the new owner's took it over this year, we were concerned about whether the comfortable, flavorful, "homestyle" experience we were used to would remain. The new team has done great! The staff is super friendly and working hard to make people feel welcome, learning names of regulars, and carrying on a place with a great reputation. The food is still excellent with super generous, well prepared portions and very reasonable prices. Well done!“

“I stopped at a great little place and had a large French Roast coffee and a breakfast sandwich ham egg and cheese on a fresh croissant. 2 min and I was enjoying a great sandwich at a great value. I met Joo and he was very friendly. They are pet friendly with free dog treats. Enjoy staying and eat inside or sit outside below large very impressive trees that I am sorry I can’t tell you the species.
Anyway stop by and enjoy a quick bite and coffee. He also has an espresso machine to make anything to rival a Starbucks but at much better price point.“

“We stopped by on Saturday night at 4:30 P.M. A little social media birdie had told me that they were open for dinner from 4:30PM to 9 PM on Friday and Saturdays (make sure to check their website for earlier hours). It’s a cute little spot. Lots of local art on the walls for sale and lots of seating. You can tell they make everything from scratch and you can follow the smoky and tantalizing smells of barbecue right to the door. My friend and I shared the deviled eggs with the bacon lardon-🤤-so good! Flavorful and tender. My friend got the polenta bowl with greens and brisket. I tried a bite and it was delicious! I had the mac & cheese with chicken and bacon lardon topped with breadcrumbs. Tender pasta and bacon and smoked chicken in a creamy sauce-yum! We ordered house red and white wines and both were great selections. We also took three of their dessert selections home for later. The location is a little off the beaten path, but I think it would be worth it for you to come on in and support this local business. I know that my friend and I will be back.“

“Jamon Benedict was a winner. Not only was the food and atmosphere amazing, but the price of my meal was kind of hard to beleive.

Its a very focused menu, not a variety show of random stuff which is i guess how they can be so efficient on costs. The Benedict was with two perfectly poached eggs and served in a big and thick slice of white bread toast instead of English muffin.

Wish I had taken a picture, but will definitely be back so I'll update my review with photos next time“

“Went in this morning and ordered a coffee. The order was taking a bit, so I went up to check, thinking maybe it'd gotten dropped. Everyone's busy, stuff happens, I get it. There was an employee mopping the area and he said it'd be a minute. Then I realized it wasn't routine mopping but a cleanup situation. I apologized to him and said I didn't realize what had happened. He said "I'm John, the owner. We have a rule here that when an employee spills something, somebody else cleans it up. They're stressed out enough." Let me spell that out...the owner was wielding a mop to ease the mental load on one of his employees. Now I want to get a job there just to learn how to be a better person. Stay classy, John, you're doing it more than right.“

“Had a wonderful first, of many, experiences at Blissful Bakery! Deb and Bob were kind and made us feel so welcome! Both indoor/outdoor seating were clean and tidy! Now…the pastries…literally the best scones I’ve ever had; so flavorful and soft! The cookies were soft and the flavors hit the mark! “We had our Company Christmas party at Ohanna Hawaiian Cafe and everyone that worked there was so gracious and helpful. We had a mix of ages and everyone found something to their liking on their menu. The food is fresh, delicious and huge servings. I had the Kahlúa pork with mac salad and white rice. “I love Ruby’s! I’ve been eating here basically every week for a year and it’s consistently a very fine eatery! Ruby (not THE Ruby) is a joy to see every week and a customer service WIZ. Drake and the rest of the crew as well are all so sweet and lovely. This isn’t even mentioning how delicious all the food is and how creative the drink menu always is. I love the little hand made signage they do regularly. All in all one of my favorite places!“

“Everything gets five stars here! I walked over from my office, only .2 miles away. Have walked up and down the path several times without ever checking out this cafe or the lovely seating area.

Just one woman, Eun, running the show for 17 years. She made me the best BLT sandwich I’ve ever had! Gets up each morning and cooks it perfectly. Not gummy nor burnt to a crisp. I have never not peeled the fat out of bacon before.

Peaceful seating right outside, nice breeze and one bird chirping. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot for my hour lunch break.“

“I was invited to play Mah Jongg at the Jewish community center. I've never been here before and had no idea how big it is. I didn't have time to wonder around and see what was all there, but the little Cafe was nice and clean, with plenty to choose from for drinks and food. There is security at the door and you must fill out a card to get into the building at the reception desk. Lots of nice people. I hope to go back in the future.“

“I was visiting Lewis and Clark for a graduation so my experience is limited to a reception but the quality of the food was good, they did run out of the food which left some guests hungry but ultimately the space was beautiful and I’m sure it’s different during the school year.“
