“Just passing through town and stopped for a late lunch. I sat outside since the indoor dining room was empty and didn’t seem inviting. I got garlic parm wings and a side of baked beans. They came out pretty quickly. The wings had some chicken gravy or similar on them which was disappointing since I prefer my wings to be crispy. Otherwise it was okay.“

“We were at Humble Spirit last night and were blown away by our meal . We started with the meatballs and veggie platter, we had the pasta, chicken and the daily special of duck. Every one of the meals was absolutely divine !! The pasta is by far one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. I highly recommend you try Humble Spirit !“

Had a half sandwich and soup special. Soup was delicious (creamy tomato) with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. Sandwich was an Italian. Delicious as well.
Had a nice glass of Pinot Noir from Marshall Davis winery. Keri was a great host as well!

“A Must-Visit Lunch Spot in McMinnville! Every time I visit McMinnville, this restaurant is at the top of my list—and once again, it did not disappoint! In fact, my friend and I loved it so much that we had lunch here twice during our trip. The corn chowder was absolutely fantastic—so creamy with just the right amount of seasoning. My friend enjoyed the ½ Turkey Sandwich, while I devoured the Chicken Cashew Salad, which was fresh and delicious. The broccoli cheddar soup was just okay, but the tomato vegetable soup was a standout, according to my friend. And let’s not forget the in-house wheat bread—fresh, flavorful, and the perfect complement to our meal. Our waitress, Andrea, was incredible! I highly recommend asking for her—she was attentive, friendly, and made our experience even better. To finish, we split a lemon cupcake—our only regret was sharing it! “A nice place on the main street of McMinville to stop in for a scoop or two. They also had a couple baked goods for sale, but i was there for one thing, a classic cone. They have a nice selection from regional dairies and have a pleasant sit-down experience.“

“A lovely experience in this farmhouse setting in wine country. We ordered the caviar and it was well allocated with understated buckwheat miniature waffles. The amuse bouche was a cute bite of flavorful mousse inside a tiny crispy cone. A nice start to the dedication of the chef. The mushroom tartlets were delicious and well worth ordering. The soup was stunning as well. Something that added a little surprise was the Green Salad with Lardons. The dressing very tasty. The duck plating was something to mention. Beautifully executed. Our table mate said the Beef Stroganoff was the best they have ever had. The drinks were nicely inventive and overall if you seek fine dining this should definitely be added to your list. We ordered off the menu and did not do the tasting menu. That will be left for another day along with the trolley cheese cart selections.“

Looks like a real good place to hang out if you like shooting pool! Lots of tables and from what I’m seeing, quite a few sharks’s teeth (trophies) around the place! Definitely my kinda place!
Just stopped in tonight for a couple burgers but really felt like staying and having a few drinks with the friendly patrons who were having a great time there. Looks like there is live music available as well!

“It was so fun to go back in the Pirate’s Den. Thanks to all those who are keeping that small-town staple going. I got the breakfast burrito and cinnamon roll. I liked the large amount of cheese on the burrito. I wish it would have come with some salsa because the potatoes were a little dry by 9:30 am. The cinnamon roll icing and filling were great and I liked the to-go style packaging.“

“Berts chuckwagon is some of the better barbecue we have around here. Trouble is in the northwest we just don’t have a lot of barbecue. I feel like the sides are what really shine. His ribs are good. They do it smoked style but they are pretty tough and dry and that’s what happens when you smoke ribs. Mine are like 10 times better in the oven and so juicy they fall off the bone. He’s a nice guy and the prices are moderate for what they offer portions are pretty generous. I’ve eaten here multiple times when I didn’t feel like cooking. Will probably come back again. But I do prefer to make my own barbecue over berts.“

The Capt. Neon Burger shows up looking unapologetically hearty. A soft, lightly toasted bun cradles a thick, juicy beef patty cooked to a satisfying char on the outside while staying tender inside. Crisp lettuce and fresh red onion add crunch and bite, while the bacon brings smoky richness that anchors the whole stack.
