“Wife and I went to John's Hideaway Restaurant for the first time on Saturday. I ordered the chipped beef over toast with hashbrowns. I have to say, it was the best darn chipped beef breakfast I ever had. It tastes like homemade, was nice and creamy, didn't need any extra seasoning. Well done!“

My friend ordered the Fried Chicken Plate. I want to mention that we arrived around 7:15pm, near closing time. Our chicken was fried perfectly... Golden, crispy, and juicy!!! My over easy eggs were cooked to perfection, the Hollandaise Sauce was smooth, creamy, and flavorful. The biscuits- MY GOODNESS😋-Scrumptious‼️Meatloaf, Mashes Potatoes & Gravy- Claud Have Mercy!… Sooooo Delish😋 Awesome waitress🙌🏽 Shout out to the Cooks- They score everytime- Regardless of how close it was to closing time for the day, our food tasted as if they just opened for the day-FRESH🕺🏽💃🏽. “This restaurant has been around for a while, my mother worked there as a cook back when I was a child. Although it has changed inside the food was excellent. I had salmon which was delicious.

“I frequent the Grill often. The owners Terry and Chris are fantastic. The food is amazing. Stopped in last night 5/10 and received a recommendation to try the bourbon sirloin and shrimp, AMAZING!! “We were heading up to Hershey, Pa. this past week and found this gem of a diner. So, upon returning home four days later, we wanted to stop there again and we were delighted to find it again! The service is great, food is fresh and the prices are reasonable. We want one in our neck of the woods: Jefferson Hills, Pa. Menu can't be beat!“

“I frequent Johnny Joes. And I think people get the wrong idea about what kinda of bar Johnny Joes is. It isn’t your fancy pants bar, crazy mixologist, wild beers, life changing food. It is however a reliable place to always get consistent quality food and affordable drinks. It wouldn't hurt if they cleaned the bathrooms every once and awhile but it’s a great time otherwise. They have lottery tickets, pool tables, darts, PA skill machines and a TouchTunes. Sounds standard for a bar but it’s hard to find one this close to home anymore. Smoking is allowed as-well.

Parking: Pretty much unlimited parking. You could easily park a couple bobtails in the parking lot, even with the trailers attached they’d have space to move.“

“Ordered take out for 4 adults on Saturday evening. First time we ordered food from this establishment but we checked other reviews and decided to give it a try. . Excellent. We ordered a couple of some evening specials: 1/2 Rack of ribs with chicken and 2 sides; another night special, pork and kraut with mashed as side. I might add if those mashed were not home made, I want the name of them--delicious, others ordered a cheesesteak sub. and the roll was absolutely delicious., with onions and peppers, fries and also another of mozz sticks with marinara, plain cheeseburger and fries. Everything was delicious and order perfect and they said only 15-20 time for pick up. The only thing that could have been better is if the pork and kraut meal and the rib & chicken meal came with dinner rolls or garlic bread. But no biggie. Would highly recommend and the 4 adults who ordered for this meal have all said will definitely go back. Great Job Mays!!!“

“10 of us arrived at Wolfe’s at 12:30 for lunch. Seated immediately. Friendly waitress got us all beverages while we checked out the menu. We ordered and within 15 minutes the food starting coming out. Within a few we all had our meals as ordered. I had the Steak & Eggs with potatoes & toast. Very tasty & hard to beat at $11.95. I’ve eaten here many times over the past decade while passing through Dillsburg. Never a bad experience. My friends, all 1st timers said they enjoyed their meals & definitely would come back.“

“This seriously is the best place to goto. The food is amazing and the ice cream is decent, depending on who makes the ice cream. I would definitely highly recommend this spot, especially if you are a passer by.

Parking: It's a pull in parking lot, so once they are full it's hard to find adequate parking unless you park in the lot in front of the building across the street.“

“Less salty then other locations! Place is super clean and very welcoming. However it is on the golf course so you kinda feel out of sorts when approaching but quickly realize you are in the right place. Craft white birch beer to die for! Love this place, only downside is there is not a gift shop like at other locations. Will most definitely be back!“

“This place is the best place I have been to in that area. I just wrote a review about 3 pines bar and grill. It wasn’t until I saw a guy last week at three Pines who was telling me about your place and I said oh that’s right I forgot the name of that place I wanted to go there I was there one other time I live in Germantown Maryland he and I got into a conversation at three Pines how despicable it is that they have the audacity to charge for sides of blue cheese, or whatever sides they offer for their wings plus charge for celery I think it’s like $.50 but that’s crazy for every stock of celery. He’s making 10 bucks.Tawn runs a great bar and pardon me if I’m wrong but I think the lady that’s working there with him on this past Monday is her name is Nicole very kind very efficient works really hard I can think she’s new because she’s really trying to get her feet in for, but I can tell either way she’s great.I just want to see what you guys do a great all your food and I think it’s great. You have specials with your wings and you have beer specials. I love IPAs for only paying three dollars and was a deal! Young lady work in the kitchen works very hard I said hello to her and I could tell she puts her heart and soul into it to you my dear great job. I’m not a big fan of the smoking environment but I sit way down to the end of the bar to try to avoid the smoke. It’s not too bad it’s doable for me not my favorite thing but everything else is great. Thank you very much for everything. Love your food. Can’t wait to go back up there next time I’m fishing.“

She was nice enough, prompt enough, but never asked how my meal was in spite of passing by me a dozen times or more. HOWEVER...the manager himself, thanked me for coming in and DID ask how my meal was. THAT was nice. Overall, food & service was worthy of a return visit sometime“

It said the fries are gs but when asked if chicken is fried in same oil the answer was yes. That is not gluten sensitive or gluten free. The manager Did come to our table explained about using their menu online and getting allergy items. However we already placed our order.“
