“We plan trips to Philadelphia just to visit this amazing bar. We can’t oversell this…absolutely the best cocktails we have ever had. There are strict house rules for a reason and we appreciate that. Always a wonderful evening at Hop Sings. Leave your phones at home and enjoy the atmosphere and fine crafted drinks.“

“The bartender had such an amazing energy and the drinks were so good. The entire vibe of the place was great. I have tried getting to this place two times before and the wait time was extremely long but this time we got here as soon as they opened and it was so worth the third trip. Definitely will go back again.“

“Middle Child Clubhouse isn't just a breakfast/brunch spot; it's a time machine set to the best moments of your childhood, but with way better food. Walking in, you're greeted not just by super friendly faces but by an atmosphere that's as nostalgic as finding your old comic book collection in the attic. Let's dive into the culinary comic strip, shall we? First up, the Pastrami, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich - it's basically the superhero of breakfast sandwiches, having been featured on Good Morning America for "Best Breakfast in America." Fluffy eggs, melty cooper sharp American cheese, and house-smoked pastrami on rye--this sandwich doesn't just walk the walk; it struts. Next is The McCluckin' which steps up like the cool kid on the block, with a crispy chicken patty dressed in mayo, pickles, and shredded lettuce, all jazzed up with preserved lemon vin on a brioche bun that's softer than your favorite childhood pillow. Then there's the Shopsin Club, a solid ensemble of house turkey, cranberry miso mayo, sweet pickles, and more, all nestled within a ciabatta that's sturdy enough for the job. While it didn't steal the spotlight for me this time around, it played its part with a reliable performance that deserves a nod. As for the supporting cast strong enough to steal the show, it started with the "Latka'd" Hash Brown with Dill Cream. It's like Hanukkah morning and Saturday morning cartoons rolled into one crispy, creamy delight. We also shared "Olivia's Big Pancake". This isn't just a pancake; it's a fluffy, malted buttermilk cloud, drizzled with honey-butter and fresh citrus, making every bite a nostalgia trip to the days when breakfast was the highlight of your day. Overall, Middle Child Clubhouse delivers a brunch experience that's as comforting as finding your old baseball mitt, but with flavors so grown-up, you'll need to check your ID. Kudos to this spot for turning the most important meal of the day into one of the most memorable where every bite is a throwback and every visit feels like coming home.“

“Amber was wonderful. Came in for a quick bite to split. We had the canita enchiladas and two margaritas. Everything was delicious. The spicy jalapeno cucumber margarita was also sweet. Wife had the Luna and it was also tasty AF. The service was great and the music brought us back to previous travels.“

“In town to visit family, a member of our party prefers vegan food. Server LEX was amazing, immaculate ambience, music - and for this to be a vegan establishment; the food tastes GREAT! 10/10 recommend, all around a stellar place to stop by for lunch & dinner.“

“Came here Valentine's Day weekend and it was packed! Luckily we had a reservation and this place is the perfect cute date spot. The interior and ambiance is amazing! We had a drink at the bar and then headed to dinner. The food was good especially the pizza but I think the drinks stood out - they were strong and flavorful.“
“Such a fun quaint cocktail bar! I appreciated the bouncer outside who checked out ideas actually walked us to the bar and found stools for my group of 3. The bartenders were attentive and very conversational. Great drinks, highly recommended the French 75 and the drink with raspberry and gin. Good vibe all around!“

“I’m upset. I wish I had the appetite of four people. This brunch will be the crown jewel of the Italian market. The corn pancakes were phenomenal and there are 10 other things I can’t wait to try. Such a perfect atmosphere for brunch. I am already planning my visit for next week.“

“Cool little space with lots of character. I went on a Friday night around 12AM and got a chicken sandwich and fries, which hit the spot just right. The server was so nice, and the prices were pretty good for what you get. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Philly.Vegetarian options: There's a lot of vegetarian offerings which are accessible on their website.“

“Bomb Mexican food in Philly! It is definitely very authentic and they had a lot of menu options that I don't usually see at other Mexican places. The margaritas were so good with many different flavors to choose from. Definitely recommend getting the nachos. The guacamole was super green and vibrant, but unfortunately I felt like it was just a bit too bland and could have used some more salt and lime. I enjoyed my quesadilla, I had never had squash blossom in a quesadilla before and it actually worked really well. If you don't like onions though like me, they do put onions in their quesadillas so make sure to ask for no onions! I wouldn't come here on a date night, ambience is very casual, but I would definitely come here with a group of friends to catch up and get some margs!“

“The food is delicious at Via Locusta. I'd particularly recommend the agnolotti, which changes seasonally. Service is also good. My only complaint is that I really wish they'd add some sound panels on the ceiling inside to quiet the dining room down. It gets so loud that you can't hear the people across from you. We've generally had better meals outside than in the dining room for that reason.“

“We were twenty minutes late due to traffic but the host was more than accommodating. Our server Robert brought a lot of energy and knowledge to our choices. Branzino was excellent, the veal medallions very tender in a delicious gravy. Lemon cello cheesecake was a nice way to end the meal. We've never been disappointed eating at Bellini.“

“Really cool bar to drink local spirits. The bartenders were super nice and let us try a couple different things we were interested in. Cocktails were really good. I would definitely go back. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was super chill but I can imagine that it gets really noisy as soon as it fills up. Also you can bring your own food, since they don’t have a kitchen, so that’s really cool!“

“I have only good things to say about this place. I thought at first it was a little odd to have steak tartar served with fries but the pairing was actually really good! Everything was amazing. I have never had such a complex gnocci dish and it's probably the best I've ever had. The scallops were perfect. Mussels, snails... all of it. Everything was just amazing; I cannot stress that enough. I can't wait to go back!“

“The food was amazing! Although they had a children’s menu, we decided to order a plate for the kids to share. We ordered the mussels (appetizer), slow cooked pork chop, braised beef short ribs and the roasted salmon (mains). Everything was delicious. The pork chop and beef ribs were extremely tender and juicy. The risotto that came with the beef ribs was full of flavor. We cleaned the plates and my kids (who are picky eaters) ate everything, including the vegetables. Not only was the food great, but the service was exceptional. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our server (regret not asking for his name) stopped by several times throughout our meal to make sure everything was good and to check if we needed anything else. After paying our bill, we were on our way to get our car and found out it was towed because we parked in a no parking zone. (Beware of the signs and read carefully.) Not knowing what to do, we went back to the restaurant for help. That’s how friendly and approachable the staff was. They all helped by looking up phone numbers for the Philadelphia parking authority (I’m not from Philly), helping me call a cab and staying with us (even though they were closing) until our cab arrived. My kids and I are now back at our hotel and extremely grateful for their help. I never really write reviews, but I had to write this one. My first trip to Philly was definitely an unforgettable experience. If I ever take another trip back here, I will definitely come back to Redcrest Kitchen.“

“Our server, Liam was exceptional. The young lady receptionist and young gentleman who greeted us were most kind and accommodating. Felt like we belonged. Food was excellent and a good variety. Seems going out to eat nowadays is getting more and more expensive. And comparing to other restaurant pricing... It was fair for $ value. We will return.“

“Yoooo this place is so good. I had cocktails here in the past but hadn’t had the full menu before. I tried the aged duck breast and the pork belly app. WOW this is amazing, well thought out food. A little pricey but it’s worth it. The food is high quality and worth every penny.“

“Came here for brunch this last weekend. What a lovely experience! Mind you I don't really approve of brunch - half the stuff you can make at home for 3/4s the price. But this place was great! Staff were so nice, patient and helpful. Small but good drink menu with delicious non alcoholic options as well. We had the biscuits and apricot jam and goat cheese fritters as appetizers. Fritters weren't overly salty which I was worried about. Nicely fried with a refreshing apple jam. Biscuits were excellent - nice and flaky. I had the biscuits with mushrooms eggs and potatoes. Eggs were cooked well but still had a bit of runniness to them. The mushrooms were delicious and it all came with this cilantro dressing. Potatoes were also excellent with some peppers thrown in for good measure. It was so hard deciding what to get because honestly everything, especially the savory dishes, looked fantastic. Prices were reasonable, great experience and even though it was brunch and close to their breaking time before dinner, we didn't feel rushed out at all. Highly recommend them!“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. “The food was really delicious here, and I’m glad I went here for my first time trying Peruvian food. This restaurant was recommended to me by my Peruvian friend. My favorite dish was definitely the arroz chaufa de lomo a lo pobre. The steak was extremely tender and juicy and the rice was so flavorful. I also love plantains so that was nice to have. The Pulpo a la parrilla was my second favorite dish I tried, the octopus was super tender and really tasty. The Pollo a la Braza was also good. I did not expect the Pargo a la plancha to have a tomato based soup, but it was decent. The snapper also had way more bones, which I didn’t mind but be aware if you don’t know how to eat around fishbones.“

“Great cocktails, great food, but what sets this place apart from other local establishments is the the way the owners and employees made you feel like you were home. Olivia welcomed me to their establishment and Vicki as busy as she was slinging drinks, took the time to make sure to treat me like family. Do yourself a favor, stop in for a cocktail, say hi, an enjoy a little bite of Vietnamese goodness! This place "Rocks"!“

“Awesome mexican restaurant in Fairmount! The restaurant looks small from the front but stretches back into really fun dining room. There is a patio option that would be great on a sunny day. The staff was very friendly and personable. I was seated as soon as I walked in but I did make a reservation beforehand. Our waitress made the recommendation for the Baja tacos and they did not disappoint (9/10) The carnitas tacos were excellent (9/10). We also started with the guacamole sampler, which comes with house chips and salsa. The plain guac was just average, but both the street corn and the spicy tuna guacamole were amazing. My friend and I split a margarita pitcher and they were great! A little sweet but perfectly strong. Easily 4 drinks in a pitcher. Overall this place is great for a first date, catching up with friends, or just some amazing food. Cantina Feliz will definitely be added into my regular rotation.“
“Had a party there yesterday evening. Amazing. Drinks are all top notch! Hors d’oeuvres are very good. I had many different drinks. The billionaire, spicy, ginger based cocktail were my favorites but really I have no complaints on any of their drinks.“

“I would give 6 stars if I could!!! Such a great addition to Havertown! The food is delicious, love the vibe and the service is amazing!!! The pineapple express wings were AMAZING! I saw some instagram stories saying to get them and our server Marissa (who was the sweetest by the way) sealed the deal by saying awesome they were- she was right!!! I am not a huge wing person and could have eaten 20 of them! The guac is so good and fresh; served with warm chips. My husband and I both got fajitas- shrimp and steak, soooo good! Also the cucumber marg was great, strong (not mad about that) and delicious! Adding this in because my husband is a huge sports guy- the Phillies ended and within minutes they put on March Madness games- no awkward gap where you're watching infomercials for hours (it is his pet peeve haha). So happy that Al Pastor is in town! Can't wait to return!“

“My friend and I made reservations for drinks on Saturday night (recommend making a reservation via Resy). We were seated upstairs, and it was busy, but not overly busy where you couldn't hear each other speak. We sat at the bar and had the loveliest bartender. “A true marriage between a coffee shop and cocktail bar. They serve traditional café fare here, as well as signature flavored lattes, craft coffee drinks, and many cocktails with a coffee or tea twist. Every week, there's also a new special on the menu. They also allow guests to bring food, so you can cozy up with a drink and some bites and hang out late into the night (which we have done many times!)Vegetarian options: Almost all drinks are vegetarian, and vegan milk alternatives are available upon request.“

“The pizza was great! The cocktails were also great! Reasonable prices, good portions, great food. Ambiance was a bit off- perhaps consider dimming the lights some. Seems like a regular old pizza place with the current vibes! Add some pizzazzz!! FOOD ROCKS THOUGH! Just… dim the lights ◡̈“
“This is a great place to unwind. It is very nice inside. The esthetic feels very modern yet vintage and classy. It has something for all types of individuals. Dancing with a DJ late into the night if you prefer. Also live music playing before hand whatever you request and a hint of comedy to make you laugh. I highly recommend checking this place out and you can't beat the hours if you don't work a normal 9-5 this place also offers this type of entertainment on weekdays, which I have found to be a rare find in Philly! I went on a Wednesday night. It was very lively, I stayed until 10pm. I can imagine it is an even more happening place on the weekends and can't wait to check it out on a Saturday or Sunday. I almost forgot to mention the food was delicious and just the right portions. Thank you Vinyl.“

“The food was excellent and just what I was in the mood for. We got the special (a carne asada burrito), chicken enchiladas, and chips and salsa. We are visiting from out of town and brought our kids with us. The waitress initially acted like she had never seen a child before ? I understand that they do a big bar business, but it was before 5pm and it was honestly comical how surprised they seemed by children. The staff recovered quickly however and we had a very nice meal. Accessibility note: it's all high tops indoors.“

“My husband and I were visiting the area and found the Gypsy Saloon through Yelp. Thank you to all the reviewers who suggested this great find. I was a little concerned, based on a few reviews that mentioned they were rushed, but we had no issues at all. We were seated immediately (it was cold and rainy at about 6pm so I am guessing that was in our favor) and felt welcomed throughout the entire visit. Husband had the gnocchi, which he polished off and I had the halibut special which was just fantastic. It was so nice to find a place with great food and atmosphere and away from all the mall chain options. Looking forward to going back to the Gypsy Saloon when we return to the area. Highly recommend.“

“I used to come here 30 some years ago when it was Sonoma. It has been several other restaurants through the years but this is the best by far. There are 2 bars. One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling. There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). Both were fabulous.I will be returning again for their in house made pasta and I can't wait.Parking: People often think that parking is difficult in manayunk but there are plenty of options in the nearby lots if you can't get one on the street.“

“Stopped in for their Thursday 5-8pm happy hour, stayed for the go-go dancer and the all-vinyl DJ! This place truly is special, frozen in time. The historic venue/bar has so much charm and life in it still. “I am a regular at Spin Philadelphia. I usually go and have a very good time. I enjoy the food, drinks, and the atmosphere. I recently had a situation where someone asked security to deal with me. I was upset and started acting up because I was being wrongfully accused. Even though my night was going bad, I felt better because of the way I was treated by some staff. The security guy with the bandana and the front desk ping pong player were very nice to me. They heard me out, showed me respect, and were very understanding of the situation. They assured me that I was welcomed back anytime. I really appreciated that. Thank you.“

“When I booked my reservation, I didn’t realize it was a hotel. I won’t lie when I say I was apprehensive when I pulled up; hotel restaurants can be very hit and miss. My worries washed away once I got outside and sat down. The outdoor patio is very nice, and the inside looked good too. But on to the best parts. Cheesesteak eggrolls were fantastic as was the chicken parm baguette. Good portion sizes. The best part though? The service. Our server was Branden and he was nothing short of great. Polite, communicative, funny and just seemed like an all around great person. If he is any indication, then I’m sure all of the staff are great. Definitely will go back and I hope the second time is just as good as the first.“

“We had an incredible experience at Charlie was a sinner. We were in Philly for one night so I was picky about the reservation we got but we were not disappointed. Super cozy spot for date night - would highly recommend!!“
“A little fancy for me, but the room is beautiful, it reminds me a bar that would be on a spaceship, I don't why! The cocktails are intricate, and tasty, but u can also have a small but decent beer list. Was there on a Sat, and they had a DJ spinning.Parking: Super busy location. “Amazing food and polite staff, and a really lively atmosphere. I had a great hangover chicken and waffles (which was personally enjoyably much sweeter than usual at other restaurants, but you do get self serve syrup). However, I think choosing this dish over others here would be doing the restaurant a disservice. It was obvious that with only like three sweet dishes, you should just get their actual food.I’ll be back if I’m in town.“
