I have shucked many different kinds of oysters but AMH are a dream to work with because they are consistent. Very few if any bad ones. I love the selection too. Ordering and pickup by car easy.“

“If you're within an hour of East Greenwich and you're looking for an amazing meal outstanding service in a beautiful restaurant then look no further the Providence oyster Bar in East Greenwich Rhode Island. I just left there a short while ago. Upon pulling in I was greeted by a friendly valet attendant. Walking in I sat right down the servers came over provided menus water all standard you get that in most nice restaurants. Their attentiveness their professionalism their courteousness it's some of the best I've experienced in a very very long time. I've been all over the country I've gone some of the finest restaurants and writing downtown East Greenwich you have a restaurant who service will rival the finest restaurants in New York City. The food is outstanding the seafood across the board is fresh is delicious, nice portions. I give it 11 out of 10 Stars. So if you're within an hour's drive of East Greenwich go out of your way and head to Providence oyster bar in E. G. I'm quite certain you will be very pleased you did.“

“So it was Fathers Day and of course my fiancé wanted to go golfing and he chose Harbor Lights golf course. We’re from Connecticut but on the border of Rhode Island but still don’t go there as much. After he was done he said he would love if we went to dinner for Father’s Day with our daughter and my mom. I searched for places in the area of the golf course, was looking for something sort of near the water and that’s when I found Iggy’s ! Had great reviews so I called and booked a reservation! We were running a little late but called to let them know and said that it was fine. When we arrived, the place was PACKED! Which is definitely a great sign. Every staff member we encountered were so nice and helpful! Our server Zach was amazing and so accommodating! He was knowledgeable and was just so friendly! My mom is a super critic ( she always has something to say about something which sometimes gets embarrassing ) haha but she could not say enough how good the food was and service and atmosphere! She absolutely loved it and we had the best time! My 13 month old had her first milkshake and LOVED it! Hahah Thank you for the great experience! “Back in 2018 I was on vacation with my lady friend who is a native of where yall are located which lives in Nashville Tennessee where I am living nowadays myself. Being a retired chef from New Orleans Louisiana and knowing seafood. She bought me here and everything about this place was A-1 and give them 5 🌟.“

“Myself and My dad went for the first time ever on Thursday May 9th. we are both huge seafood lovers however my mom and my husband are not. So we planned a night out and our number one goal was to look for a great Buck A Shuck with an excellent menu! We found both, my dad saw the Oyster Po Boy and he was sold right there. We arrived shortly after they opened around 3 and took our seats at the bar. I am horrible at remembering names. We ordered a dozen(6 for each) oysters. Shortly after we realized we should have ordered a dozen(6 for each) little necks. I am sorry for the inconvenience of not ordering them at the same time. After eating both the dozen oysters and little necks which was truly fascinating to watch as he just shucked them open with no problem. I ordered the Salmon Burger which was AMAZING and my dad got his Oyster Po Boy. Which he also said was AMAZING. The bartender asked if we saved room for dessert. However we both looked at each other laughed and ordered another dozen (6 for each)oysters as a dessert. All in All the food was great. Everything tasted so fresh they oysters and little necks were so sweet and briney. Fantastic!! Loved the atmosphere and watching all the orders go out and the gentlemen just shuck away at the oysters and little necks. Looking forward to the next time we come!!“

“The best little wicket pub with such an atmosphere and a great bartender. Was there on a Wednesday afternoon got some GF tots and my daughter for the country tots and the husband for oysters and some top shelf whiskey! So much fun and some really great people. Can wait to head back!!!!“

“First time trying the lobster bisque and it was delicious! I’ve had other menu items in the past but the bisque is hands down my favorite! Who says you can’t enjoy seafood in the winter? Great for takeout on a chilly night. The dining in experience here is also very good. I’d reccomend for date nights during the warmer months. 🦞“

“Honestly a great cozy breakfast spot right at the bottom of the hotel which makes it super convenient if your trying to get something to eat either first thing in the morning or at the end of your night, the food is also super good so you can't go wrong with anything you pick!“

“This was the BEST RESTAURANT we went to in Newport!! All of the seafood dishes were excellent, fresh and tasty. If you’ve ever been to the famous Oyster Bar in Grand Central station, this place is just as good. Definitely NYC prices for oysters $3.50/ oyster but that seemed to be the average price for a lot of the places in Newport.

The scallops were extremely fresh, sweet and perfectly cooked. Also highly recommend the linguine pasta with calms, along with the lobster bisque. The bisque has HUGE pieces of lobster and was the perfect appetizer. For drinks and dessert, recommend the mojito and the chocolate mouse.

“Dined at one of the igloos they have set up on the wharf and it was beautiful and cozy inside with lovely views of the Newport Bridge. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect for celebrating a winter night. “First time in. Monday night special is quite the deal! Food tasted excellent and portions are large. I was able to take home plenty of food and my unfinished bottle of wine. We did feel a bit rushed. Not only to place our order but appetizers and salads were served at the same time to our small table. We were asked multiple times if we were done with courses when we had forks in our hands. Because the food was delicious and very well prepared we’ll give it another try and hope for a better service experience.“

We were visiting Newport, RI from the Northwest and chose to dine at the Red Parrot restaurant because of its excellent reviews. I called the next day about my cap, explaining that we had already left the city. To my comfort, the Red Parrot restaurant mailed my cap along with a bonus - a large Red Parrot T-shirt for my husband. What restaurant here in the Northwest would do something like that ?“

“When you look across the region, although it is newly opened, they are doing a really successful job, they have a different menu style, of course they have small mistakes, but they will get better over time, the best pizza I have eaten recently, if you are around here, you should definitely try it.“

“They were able to accommodate me on a busy weekend, even let me choose my seat even though I was alone and they had people continuing to arrive. The hostess and waitress were friendly, the food was delicious (pesto shrimp pizza), the view was nice as it's right on the water, and I chose a table that allowed me to see it properly. The band I was particularly happy about- I thought they were fantastic- they played early rock n roll, and I wish I asked their name.

It's a really relaxed atmosphere, not fancy, think old patio furniture. My table was not steady and rocked when you moved, the chairs were plastic, but I didn't mind. If you want a good meal on the water and are not picky about that, I'd recommend this place.
