I just left there a short while ago. Upon pulling in I was greeted by a friendly valet attendant. Walking in I sat right down the servers came over provided menus water all standard you get that in most nice restaurants. Their attentiveness their professionalism their courteousness it's some of the best I've experienced in a very very long time. I've been all over the country I've gone some of the finest restaurants and writing downtown East Greenwich you have a restaurant who service will rival the finest restaurants in New York City. The food is outstanding the seafood across the board is fresh is delicious, nice portions. I give it 11 out of 10 Stars. So if you're within an hour's drive of East Greenwich go out of your way and head to Providence oyster bar in E. G. I'm quite certain you will be very pleased you did.“

So we planned a night out and our number one goal was to look for a great Buck A Shuck with an excellent menu! We found both, my dad saw the Oyster Po Boy and he was sold right there. We arrived shortly after they opened around 3 and took our seats at the bar. I am horrible at remembering names. We ordered a dozen(6 for each) oysters. Shortly after we realized we should have ordered a dozen(6 for each) little necks. I am sorry for the inconvenience of not ordering them at the same time. After eating both the dozen oysters and little necks which was truly fascinating to watch as he just shucked them open with no problem. I ordered the Salmon Burger which was AMAZING and my dad got his Oyster Po Boy. Which he also said was AMAZING. The bartender asked if we saved room for dessert. However we both looked at each other laughed and ordered another dozen (6 for each)oysters as a dessert. All in All the food was great. Everything tasted so fresh they oysters and little necks were so sweet and briney. Fantastic!! Loved the atmosphere and watching all the orders go out and the gentlemen just shuck away at the oysters and little necks. Looking forward to the next time we come!!“

“So it was Fathers Day and of course my fiancé wanted to go golfing and he chose Harbor Lights golf course. We’re from Connecticut but on the border of Rhode Island but still don’t go there as much. After he was done he said he would love if we went to dinner for Father’s Day with our daughter and my mom. I searched for places in the area of the golf course, was looking for something sort of near the water and that’s when I found Iggy’s ! Had great reviews so I called and booked a reservation! We were running a little late but called to let them know and said that it was fine. When we arrived, the place was PACKED! Which is definitely a great sign. Every staff member we encountered were so nice and helpful! Our server Zach was amazing and so accommodating! He was knowledgeable and was just so friendly! My mom is a super critic ( she always has something to say about something which sometimes gets embarrassing ) haha but she could not say enough how good the food was and service and atmosphere! She absolutely loved it and we had the best time! My 13 month old had her first milkshake and LOVED it! Hahah Thank you for the great experience! “This was the BEST RESTAURANT we went to in Newport!! All of the seafood dishes were excellent, fresh and tasty. If you’ve ever been to the famous Oyster Bar in Grand Central station, this place is just as good. Definitely NYC prices for oysters $3.50/ oyster but that seemed to be the average price for a lot of the places in Newport.

The scallops were extremely fresh, sweet and perfectly cooked. Also highly recommend the linguine pasta with calms, along with the lobster bisque. The bisque has HUGE pieces of lobster and was the perfect appetizer. For drinks and dessert, recommend the mojito and the chocolate mouse.

“Wow, a top New York City type restaurant in Newport. Forget the losers comments from years ago. Dress like you’re going first class. Atmosphere here is awesome…2nd floor is special. Drinks are reasonable and delicious. Our server PATRICK WAS AMAZING. They explain specials and drinks. Most attentive and all foods were perfectly presented. Wanna another drink, ask and within 2 minutes it’s there. We had wild mushrooms and salmon that were incredible as appetizers. Caesar salad was fresh and lettuce crisp. We recently tried the new breakfast menu, and our initial impression is that the menu is certainly ambitious, but some of the menu items We’re a *bit* on the heavy side for breakfast. Nonetheless, it’s certainly a unique experience, which seems to be what they aim for.

It’s absolutely clear that the owners of this establishment invest a profound amount of time and energy into training and MENTORING their staff and holding them to a superb standard of service and of course attention to detail.

The front of the house we staff, from the host or hostess, to the wait staff and the bussers: every single interaction is Matt with professional courtesy and in many cases accommodation. The presentation of the order is always done with precision and accuracy, which I appreciate very much.

The products: whether it’s a quick sandwich for lunch or at dinner spread out over a couple of hours, each plate is prepared again, with intensive care and of course, attention to detail.

I have been coming here since they have open, but I have recently become a regular and I have started coming in here for lunch. I’ve had the opportunity to talk with the bartenders and the various weight staff, and from what I can gather there is a very good relationship between the owners and those whom they employ. Is also clear to me that there is a great deal of time and attention devoted to their training in the maintaining of very high excellent standards of service and conduct and professionalism.

It is with great pleasure that I bestow my highest endorsement professional and dedicated staff here at chophouse grill. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the service and presentation I’m such a finally crafted product, as well as the mentoring that goes into it.

The only true recommendation that I have would be to consider tablecloths for the dinner to “soften” the room/atmosphere. I am usually in there for lunchtime, which is a quick and informal affair. Most of the tables seat four; table cloths would be a nice touch and make the setting that more intimate.

She went above and beyond to ensure our child—who has severe allergies, including shellfish—was safe and felt included in our dining experience. Rhonda took the time to mingle with guests and has a fantastic rapport with everyone. Her presence truly elevated our visit. “They were able to accommodate me on a busy weekend, even let me choose my seat even though I was alone and they had people continuing to arrive. The hostess and waitress were friendly, the food was delicious (pesto shrimp pizza), the view was nice as it's right on the water, and I chose a table that allowed me to see it properly. The band I was particularly happy about- I thought they were fantastic- they played early rock n roll, and I wish I asked their name.

It's a really relaxed atmosphere, not fancy, think old patio furniture. My table was not steady and rocked when you moved, the chairs were plastic, but I didn't mind. If you want a good meal on the water and are not picky about that, I'd recommend this place.
