“My waitress was Corey a slim light skinned guy with dreads. He was rude the whole night. We first entered the restaurant there was hardly nobody there he told us it will be a 15min wait. So we sat down and waited in about 10mins 3 people passed us and went and sat down so I got up and told him then he rudely seated us. As we ordered he was looking at the game on the television and gave us no eye contact. I asked for 2 unsweet teas 1 with no ice I got two sweet teas, I told him that it was sweet an I wanted unsweetened but my husband said that he would keep his sweet tea. So the waitress picked it up and brought me a sweet tea again this time with ice when I asked for no ice. So the second time I decided to just let it sit there because he seemed upset. I placed my order and asked for an extra side of potatoes, he said they come in 3 so I said ok I want it. Then my husband asked do potatoes come with his order and the waiter said “yes do you want to add extra” my husband said “naw I’m good” when the order came I had only 3 potatoes which is what comes with the order, my husband had four potatoes that’s three that come with the order and one extra. I looked at the receipt and saw that he charged both of us for an extra order of potatoes. I told him that I don’t have an extra order in mine, and that my husband didn’t order an extra side but if he did, he should have gotten three potatoes, not one extra . He said “yes he did ask for extra” we both said no he didn’t. and he ran to the back talking loud i can hear him say “bro I swear they ordered extra potatoes. We don’t say anything else. We know what we ordered he was too busy watching the TV while we were ordering . He brought the ticket to the table and told us we can pay up front. He didn’t say thank you, have a good night or nothing he never looked back our way. he never even apologized for bringing me sweet tea both times with ice. We left him a $10 tip although he didn’t deserve a dime but he could have gotten more. I’m just not the type to leave nothing. His attitude was so nasty I will not go there again!”

Also, do yourself a favor and try the Brussel Sprouts—they’re the perfect size to share around the table and everyone will love them.
Honestly, I don’t get why this place isn’t rated a solid 4.7 or higher. Maybe some people value quantity over quality, but if you care about great food, excellent service, and real value, this spot deserves more credit.

I also appreciate that the soft drinks have real sugar and not high fructose corn syrup. They also offer several other drink options.

“We had a party of 6 at 3:45pm it was busy but it was tax free weekend and so many people in the surrounding shops. Josh was our server. Oh. My. Goodness. He was so great! We were a simple table, all soups and salads and one kids meal but it’s still a lot to keep all ours bowls refilled and drinks full and he did so great. My daughter did have to wait about 20 mins to get her soup as they were out of the chick and gnocchi but it came eventually. We sent him back like three times for soup refills and he was kind and on top of it just filling things as he saw needed. We spilt the check and I left a 20% tip even after my friend dropped a 20& tip on the table. Josh should run the training program there is that exists… I would LOVE to say I’ll be back just because of the service, but never again. I have heard about the traffic there and I know tax day made it worse but it took us 45 mins to get out of the parking lot and through the light. People were miserable and selfish not letting people in, getting out of cars yelling. I honestly thought people exaggerated about the traffic there but even the hostess who was so sweet and all smiles said she gets off shift and just goes and sits in the parking lot for hours because she knows nobody will ever let her out. That’s no way to live. I can’t ever see myself going back to that area of town again. Anything my teens wanted from that mall nearby there I can order online and not deal with the continued ugliness of bumping and elbows and running through my child and cutting people off and blocking traffic over 2” advance on the pavement … Its a shame what I saw in people continuously all day around there. Nope. But thank goodness for Josh. He turned the day around… just in time to sit in that lot …”
