“Best in South Carolina! Food is Southern cooking at its finest! Crab legs are fresh and served hot at a price you can’t beat. All of the personnel is super friendly and on top of it. We’ve been there at least 20 times in the last year and never ever had a problem. It’s Local, it’s friendly and it’s Southern!!! Heading there tonight with our visiting guests!“

“Some of the best seafood in Horry County. I’m local and have lived here all my life. So I’ve eaten a lot of seafood. I’ve been disappointed a lot by seafood restaurants serving up cold greasy food. Salt Water Grille is the best, perfectly fried, not greasy, freshly cooked seafood ! I’m picky about fried oysters, my favorite! Theirs are fried perfectly. The flounder, shrimp, scallops, and crabs are too. They make their sauces from scratch! And the waiter is excellent! We haven’t eaten there yet when the food wasn’t delicious! If you’ve never eaten seafood at Salt Water Grille, you’re missing out on some of the best! Steaks are good too, and so is the buffet with just about every Southern comfort food there is!“

“This was our 2nd time at CFSC and it was good again.
We were the to thrilled it wasn't as busy as our last visit in the summer and we're able to get a seat at the bar with no problem .
The bartender was great and took good care of us.
We started with stuffed mushrooms, a special, unfortunately they weren't very special. They had a bit of crab in them but overall they were pretty blah.
Thankfully things picked up from there. I had another special, Grouper Piccata over linguine. The fish was cooked perfectly and the Piccata sauce was great. Definitely a keeper, try it if it's on the menu.
My date had the grilled shrimp platter. She loved it. Once again the shrimp was cooked perfectly with a bit of blackening seasoning that did not overpower the shrimp. The sides potatoes and beans were also cooked very well.
Despite the kind of blah start it was a great meal with excellent service.“

“We had the best time, great food and fun service! One of my best friends and I ate there, at the outdoor bar. We had a blast with the staff and the other patrons. We met a couple of four legged regulars….some very tame raccoons came up on the deck and added to our fun and laughter!“

“We’ve eaten here year after year. Ate here tonight and it was as great as always. I had the grilled seafood platter and everything was perfect. Each fish tasted fresh and not dry. Has salmon, oyster Rockefeller, sea scallops, shrimp, a crab cake with green beans. Both filing and done right. Others in our group had lamb, duck, grouper, chicken and all enjoyed it. Definitely made with fresh ingredients every day. I also think anything less the a 10 rating is not appropriate.“

“Went with some friends to the Yuletide Pop-Up today and honestly… adorable overload. The whole place felt like we’d walked straight into a Christmas snow globe. That’s saying a lot because I’m from Delaware and grew up on seafood. I’m very picky about crab cakes and don’t usually order them. But the description said Maryland style crab cakes so I took a chance. Best choice ever! They were amazing! My husband had the clam strips that was the special of the day and they were also amazing. So many he couldn’t eat them all. We shared a bowl of seafood bisque that was also delicious. Our waitress even split it into 2 bowls for us when we told her we were going to share. Food was served quickly and the staff was super friendly. I highly recommend stopping here!“

“The staff are wonderful folks. Authentic Mexican and fresh food is what's served. This restaurant isn't your normal Mexican restaurant that serves food just like the others. If you want authentic food just the way it should be and the taste of amazement I encourage you to visit and see for yourself I promise you'll want to return for more.“

“A 60th birthday lunch/dinner celebration for party of 6. Reservation was for 1pm & we ordered from dinner menu. The lobster bites appetizer ordered was enough for each to try - all enjoyed the flavor & sauce provided. We had 1 filet ordered (tasted wonderful) 2 ordered the crab cakes -delish! 2 ordered the salmon - wonderfully prepared and 1 ordered the filet tips - this was served with gravy that was a slightly salty tasting & the tips had gristle pieces making almost 1/2 of them too chewy. Overall a nice place but noisy on the inside (our 1st visit). We will return in better weather & when we can eat outside.“
