“I drove out to Germantown for the Burnt Ends & Waffles, loaded smashed potatoes and slaw. I live in midtown, but they closed the location at the Concourse so if you crave the best Burnt Ends in Memphis you must travel to Collierville. Beautiful patio and attentive staff with 4-dollar drink specials daily. Any way you slice the brisket at Wolf River it is Top Notch. Do yourself a favor, if you expect it served hot, ask for it that way or take it home and do it yourself because they are going to serve it warm.“

“We were staying couple of nights in Memphis and wanted to experience a local BBQ joint. This is about as authentic as it gets! We had beef brisket and pulled pork one night and ribs the next night. Yes, we ate there both nights, it was so good. But the best was the cole slaw! They made it with red cabbage, jalapenos, and blue cheese. The best I've ever eaten. “Finally checked it out today after work! While I will always miss the beloved Tycoon restaurant and the Hwang family who ran the place, I am very happy with Mama's Kitchen. The hard working Mr. Jacob is a very kind man and an excellent cook!

I can't wait to come back and try the catfish since the young man I walked past when I left was so excited about it. He described the catfish as "bussin!" and after everything I just ate, I am inclined to fully believe him.

“Ate Ty's barbeque yesterday for lunch! Brother & friend had eaten there the day before & bought some to bring home to eat later. Wow! Ty's is the best! From all the rest! Great smoky flavor, no fat, good mix of some burnt ends with lean meat....so so good! Also potato salad was delicious too! Like my brother said, if he's driving by there, he's stopping in! When my grandfather moved out of the area to the suburbs, he would still drive into town to get BBQ from here whenever the family would get together. We really enjoy the place and the food. I can't believe if this was the case why didn't you just say sir are you going to change your gloves? I am very professional and it is my desire to serve the public safe food. When i tell you this was best wings i had in a long time.The wings had a great flavor everything was hot even the fries were hot and crispy. I ordered a lemonade no ice but ended with a arnold palmer half sweet tea and half lemonade it was soooooooo good.
