“As someone from the Mississippi Delta, I have a fairly high standard when it comes to BBQ (especially brisket and ribs). I groan when someone convinces me to try a spot that “has amazing brisket!” knowing that 19/20 times I am disappointed. I was in Lewisville, TX this week for work and was introduced to Sullivan’s as a place with “some really great BBQ and brisket” I am here to tell you, this bbq/brisket/ribs/sausage is not great… It is OUTSTANDING. The ribs/pork/sides etc. are all a 10/10 in my book… But that brisket…. That brisket is in a league of its own. Without a doubt the BEST brisket I’ve ever had. Perfect tenderness - beautiful smoke ring - exceptional bark - and flavor that is just unbelievable. Even then, with the exceptional quality of food, it pales in comparison to the hospitality of this place. When coming here for the first time, I was immediately treated as if I had been a regular visitor for 20 years. I’ve been 4 times now in 12 days and will surely be back before my return home. Sullivan’s is a prime example of what a local restaurant should and could be and I give my thanks and kudos to the owner and the amazing staff that make an experience like this possible.“

“Best BBQ experience period. Briskets that melts in your mouth , nachos that are best in town by a mile. All served with pride and you can tell it is made by true pit masters. It is one of my absolute favorite restaurants and I have eaten in some of the best restaurants across the globe and I have cooked some of the finest cuisine and Vaqueros in my hometown of Allen Texas beats all of that! “We love to eat at Feedstore Bbq. If you want BBQ they have it. If you want a fantastic Burger and fries they have it! Salad? Texas size or a side salad, so good and fresh! I can go on and on. This is the real deal folks. Try them. You will love it!“

“I have eaten and shared my love of BBQ for years traveling the United States in my job, and living for a time in South Texas enjoying the outstanding Tex Mex cuisine of mesquite wood burning smoked brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, etc. JR's is a wonderful experience if you are looking for outstanding BBQ, family outing, very professional, friendly staff, with a wide selection of menu options that are simply delicious! I have tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, mac and cheese, other side dishes, and soups. I have never been disappointed. JR is one of the friendliest, generous, and community- oriented individuals you would ever meet. I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. I would highly recommend stopping by and trying the food for yourself as the flavor of mesquite smoked meat is tantalizing to the taste buds, the atmosphere is very friendly/inviting, and the service the best! Suffice it to say that JR and his staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is memorable, and enjoyable! P.S. ask JR to let you see the fire pits in the back so you can see where the outstanding BBQ is made. JR is very approachable.“

“WOW!! Whiskey & Smoke @ the River Walk, invariably and substantively, transcends. Seems irrespective of where we now travel and dine, we find ourselves craving this fabulous food! Sinfully sublime melt in your mouth steaks - and that open flame seasoning, magic. Even the comfort food sides ring decadently delicious. Tack on superb service and we are delightfully hooked. It's become a habit that compels us to return, time and again. How handy that W&S is right here in the heart of Flower Mound. Extraordinary! 🤩“

“Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on I-35E in Denton is hands down one of the best barbecue spots around! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their brisket is tender and juicy with just the right amount of smokiness, and the ribs fall right off the bone. The sides are just as good—mac & cheese, baked potato casserole, and fried okra are absolute must-haves.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The place is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.“

“The food at this location has changed. The free peanuts are still a treat as well as the fresh rolls. The drinks are good as well as the salads. The steaks have made a turn, and I don't know if it's the time if day or location. One does seem to be better than the other. But what we look for is consistency with our food. I order a steak w/ mushrooms, with a loaded baked potato and a salad. I can truely say that my salad was the only thing that was the same. The mushroom were over powering the taste of the steak as when I usually place this order my mushrooms are on the side of my steak or in another fish. My baked potato was rather small and the cheese and added hoping were ok. I know my visit to this location was a first, but we usually wait for the gross to be seasoned before trying new locations. The margaritas on the other hand was a hit, but that's may have been the alcohol talking. I'll try this place again in due time. Just due the cost and taste of the steak, which us usually a hit just wasn't this go around.

“Went to the opening today, absolutely great to see it was packed and busy, waited 50min to get my order, which under the circumstances I felt was expected, food was fantastic, mushrooms were exactly how I remembered them, except when I got home was missing my daughters nuggets and my chicken roll, I was devastated, waiting yrs to eat this roll again lol. Staff were fantastic and apologetic for wait. Rang and left msgs but no reply...rrcieved a wrap instead of roll, ill be taking it back tomorrow with receipt as proof, definitely will be back, and definitely recommend, shame order was wrong.ill be back for that chicken roll, can't wait, other than mix up food was fantastic“
