“I visited Daqs & Oxtails for the first time during their Soft Grand Opening on 5/30/24. I love the vibe of the place. There was plenty of parking with indoor and outdoor seating. There was no hot food ready to purchase during my visit but I did buy the in-house banana pudding, hypnotic lemonade, Cake Daddy’s chicken salad, and the “Voodoo” flavor daiquiri. The servers were pleasant and professional, and the items were priced as I expected. Of all the items I purchased, the banana pudding was my favorite. I will definitely be returning to this spot for some oxtails, greens, yams, and cornbread soon! This spot is worth checking out!“

The chicken and beef fajitas were so delicious and well seasoned, the chicken fried steak was cooked to perfection and the gravy made it a heavenly food item. The sweet tea satisfied my thirst from an outside temperature of 98 degree farenheit. Our waitress was so friendly and ready to serve our children as well, as our children enjoyed their cheeseburgers and chicken tenders meals. She made our experience a great one and highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.“

“How have I been living in Dallas, 15 min from here, for 38 years and just now found this place!? Don't like tomatoes or mayo on your burger? Want extra pickles? No fussing with a cashier, there is a toppings bar to dress your burger the way YOU like. Fries were fresh and hot. Staff was friendly and fast. dining area was clean. Burgers were well seasoned and they gave us a generous amount of bacon and crumbled blue cheese. Chili cheese dog was a good, but I wish they would have toasted the hotdog bun. “Best tenders I've had in a long while. Was genuinely surprised. Unlike Cane's and other popular places, the chicken is not hidden under mounds of breading. Sauces were top notch. This is my new favorite tender place, and I hate tenders places.“

My kids like the food here. What I don't like is you have to ask for key to use the restroom. They use to have tvs playing the sports shows and now they are always off. They use to have jazz music playing and now they don't. At the other slims chickens the tvs work and the restrooms are unlocked.“
