“After an inexplicable amount of time for not frequenting this establishment, I am reacquainted with how delicious their chicken truly is. There simply isn’t another place like it in plano that compares to the freshness and rich smoky flavor which permeates the place and your clothes, but al fresco dining is an option of your clothes need a break.“
“A sublime orchestration of southern comfort food paired with unique, very yummy, libation offerings. We decided on a sampling of appetizers: cast iron cornbread, gumbo, shrimp and grits, fried squash blossoms. All of them were simply delightful, but my fave was the squash blossoms...you must try this dish! A close second was the gumbo with it's dark, rich, complexion from the fabulous roux, along with hearty chunks of crab, boudin, and whole shrimp. For our main dish, we shared a delicious King Salmon croquette. Last but not least, big kudos to our server Keanon who made my wife's birthday dinner memorable!“
“It's a beautiful place with lots of food and drink option. It has lots of different type of sitting including a RV for private sitting. Loved the interiors and outdoor sitting along with the decors. It has a lot of southern food options, good for small and large groups“
“This was our first time at W/B my husband wanted to bring our daughter because she came home for the weekend. Our servicer Dalton was the BEST, he's nice smile ,making our first time a Great experience. We will difficultly be back and hope to get Dalton again, restaurant need more Dalton.“
“Walked in this morning as a party of 6 for what we thought would be brunch. It was lunch instead, but it was great. Chicken fried chicken with the jalapeño gravy was phenomenal. Side salad with basalmic was amazing.Definitely adding this place to my list in the future.Parking: Multiple parking lots. We parked in the “market” parking lot on accident and walked over to the restaurant and there was a parking lot right in front of the restaurant as well.“
“Went for lunch the place was packed. Ordered the wagyu beef burger and my friend had the regular bacon cheese burger. I also ordered the chili dog. The Wagyu burger comes cooked well it was really good. They have a full bar like fudruckers which I liked for sauces n toppings. The chili dog was meh but still good. I loved the mom n pop feel of the place. A definite must try when in Dallas“
“Went with my friends to Saturday brunch/lunch. We had catfish, chicken fried steak and taco salad. There were so many side dishes, fried okra, slaw, mashed potatoes, and more and everything was literally perfect! Our server, Dalys, was so wonderful, really present with us... and every other person who worked there was kind, helpful and engaging. Always right there with the coffee... The place was clean, restrooms too. When we got there it was completely full, but we didn't have to wait but like 5 minutes and our food came very fast. Honestly, best meal I have had out in a long time.“
“This place is so awesome and so good! The customer service is outstanding. Came in today to try their The chicken fried steak sandwich- Nashville style! Let me tell you what! It's everything and more. It's perfectly made for a Texas size feel! Everything blends perfectly together! Asked for fresh fries and they came out perfectly salted! Absolutely enjoyed every bite! This place is clean and is the perfect place to enjoy some hot Chicken! They do have one item on the menu that's bone in. I will be trying that next time! My server Cassey was wonderful! Loving the sweet ice tea and can't wait for the beer on tap to open. Please come and enjoy! Great for solo or groups and they do have a bar area top that you can dine at as well! Cheers“
“On my first visit to this location so far, I dined in with another person. I had 1 risky biscuit, 1 iced cinnamon biscuit, 1 the farmer, and 1 peach-berry lemonade. The risky biscuit and iced cinnamon biscuit were fine. The farmer biscuit was good, and I wouldn't mind ordering this biscuit sandwich again. The peach-berry lemonade was excellent.I intend to visit again to try some sidekicks and/or shareables in addition to another entrée.“
“Ate there for the first time today and let me tell you. Food was superb and our server Pete was phenomenal. I had the chicken fried steak and boy was it huge. I able to actually eat off it three times. Also had the wings and they were delicious as well.“
“This morning was my first visit, Sat 10:15 am. I was worried about a long wait time, but we only waited 5 minutes, were seated, and our orders were taken very promptly, our waitress was hospitable and funny. Our food was fresh, made and delicious! I'm definitely coming back and trying the whole menu!“
“This place was such a pleasant surprise! We came here for a quick brunch and was so pleased from the coffee to the appetizer to the main course. We ordered the deviled eggs and they came with 5 eggs and were delicious! I got the avocado toast with an added egg and even though it was on the appetizer menu it was plenty of food for a meal. My husband got the love me tender and it was also very hearty! There are 3 sauces on the table and they are not labeled so be careful which one you grab. One of them (dark red) was incredibly spicy! One was honey and the other was a sweeter sauce. The bathroom was a private bathroom and it was clean and well stocked. We parked in the parking garage and walked a short walk to get to this restaurant. No wait when we got there and it was a Saturday. All in all we were very pleased and we will absolutely return.“
“During my lunch break, I decided to check this place out. This place is across the street from a high school. I said if there are a lot of teens in here , the food will most likely will be good.I walked in and there were quite a few teens. I asked a group of boys if the chicken is good, they all immediately replied yes.The chicken, fries was seasoned very well and fresh. I went back after work to take dinner home for my family. I would recommend.“
“Everything was excellent. The service. The food is everything. It was my first time going and I will be going back. Don't go in expecting food to be lined up in metal bins over hot water. The food is fresh and cooked to order. Wonderful ??“
“Please try this spot out if you’re in Dallas. I wish I could give 10 stars in all categories. The service is off the charts. Southern cuisine and hospitality. Let Mrs Elizabeth know I sent you. You want be disappointed. Jack town in the D-town. No restaurant in Dallas can compare.“
“What a refreshing change of pace for fast food! Delicious, fresh and so many options! I was very impressed with the quality of both the food and the service. I was surprised and disappointed that the chicken salad I wanted was not something they make. 5 star for sure if they had my go-to option.“
“Catfish and shrimp platter is always amazing along with other food options on the menu but the only reason I give them 4 stars is because the gumbo is absolutely horrible! I hope they find another gumbo recipe and soon!! Service is always great.“
“Had the Catfish plate. ACTUAL Catfish filets, not 2 inch strips! Gren means has meat in them. Reminded me of my granny's. Mac-n-cheese was great.Wife had cfc, had better. Rolls where ok corn bread to sweet for me but good.( don't like sweet cornbread AT ALL) They had HUGE pieces of pie and cake. Fat boy scale. Place is a solid 7!“
“I've been to palmers numerous times and never get to write a review because i always immediately dig in, but here we are now! Palmers has many hot chicken options, many heat levels and many soul food options. I've never been disappointed during any visit to palmers. The customer service is always top tier, they go out of their way to serve you whether you're dining in or to go! I always get the novice level which is spicy in my opinion! I'm from Louisiana and the novice big dark had my nose running, however the novice tenders are mild tasting! Palmers is very family friendly, they have covered outdoor seating with game like; bean bag toss and giant connect 4! Entrees i recommend are; chicken tacos, chicken and waffles, catfish(authentic!) and BIG DARK (enough to feed 2 people, only $14).“
“The food was great. The only thing was everything "To Me was sweet". Sweet bread, sweet potatoes, the corn and even the chicken fried steak. And to top is of i got sweet tea which i loved till every was sweet... Great service hot food clean.“
“Picked up 10 Lbs of live crawfish on Thursday, April 4th and they were so good. I want to thank you all for making it so easy as I like to boil them myself. I really appreciate your business. I will definitely be coming back in the weeks to come.“
“Our company recently had the pleasure of working with Low Country Cuisine for an event. We were particularly impressed with the attentiveness and warmth of our point of contact, Asael. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and ensure everything ran smoothly. Their professionalism, helpfulness, and friendly demeanor made the planning process a breeze. The food was also incredibly delicious. The BLTA sandwiches were a huge hit among our guests and received rave reviews. Overall, I highly recommend Low Country Cuisine for anyone planning a corporate event. We look forward to working with them again in the future.“
“My husband and I have been coming to Flying Fish for years and today I tried their crawfish for the first time! OMG the price is much better than one of the other seafood restaurants we frequented and the quality and seasoning were great as well. Highly recommend!“
“Yes it’s a chain but this bird is the word! Chicken rockstars use gas fired wood (for flavor) ovens producing juicy fowl for your pleasure. Save your money and just eat that bird because the sides are only ho hum and definitely skip the whip cream is all there is banana pudding fit only for children.“
“We ordered the light and dark French Fried Chicken with the biscuits, collard greens, and brie mac and cheese. The chicken was crispy on the outside and very juicy inside. Mac and cheese was tasty and the biscuits are to die for. Eat it while it's warm. The chicken and greens were a bit too salty for me. Maybe it was an extra briny batch. Lots of parking outside.“
“We stumbled upon Tupelo Honey while visiting Dallas. This place did not disappoint. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I like that the restaurant was able to cater to everyone ( visitors, professionals and the regulars). I had the Sriracha honey chicks and waffles! The chicken was Scrumptious! I tried the homemade peach and pineapple soda, it was basic.“
“Tupelo Honey was a great Sunday Brunch spot. My sister and I made a reservation after church, we had no issues getting seated. The server was very attentive. The restaurant was packed so I would make a reservation ahead of time if you are able. The playlist was perfect. My only complaint was that the table we sat at was wayyyy to close the next one. We will be back to try more of the menu. The shrimp Poboy definitely satisfied my Louisiana craving!“
“I have been here several times. The food is always great, I haven't ordered anything that wasn't fantastic. The staff are all friendly and helpful. What's not to love about a place that has everything from fish and chips to tacos al cabron?!? I keep coming back!“
“This used to be a wonderful place to go, now the servers and cashier all give off the impression that they are doing you some big favor by letting you eat at their restaurant. They don't check to go orders either and tie the bags, so just be warned, check your order BEFORE you leave Last 3 times, something was wrong with they orders I placed.“
“I give Southern Gourmet Kitchen 1million stars. The food is season so good. The fried green tomatoes, the egg roll greens, Shauna had excellent customer service. She took care of us with great hospitality, always checking on us. The whole entire wait staff was so nice smiling interaction was great with the customers. Meatloaf was okay. But baby the shrimp grits, yams greens & OOOO the mac & cheese... FIRE. Last but not least DJ Class Chaz had me dancing in my seat the WHOLE entire time.“
“I'd feel guilty if I had anything besides fried chicken at Babes, so that's what I had, and it was, of course, as always, EXCEPTIONAL!! The fried chicken serving portion was large enough so that even as a hearty eater, I had a piece left over - it's calling me now from my refrigerator for lunch today. The sides were all wonderful, too - we didn't have to worry about leftovers. The should have wheel-barrowed us out to our car, but somehow we made it. Many casual restaurants these days have servers \ waitstaff that seem bored to be working - like they're doing you a favor taking your money - but not our server at Babes - RADLYN B - she was prompt but not obtrusive, she smiled, she had a pleasant, friendly attitude, and she had a sense of humor, too - her overall demeanor certainly added to our experience at Babes.“
