“This restaurant is located right next to Valero gas station on Fm1327 and 1626. It's got great food and charming atmosphere. Food is always cooked fresh and it's delicious, Other than Mexican good which is always on the spot, there also have great hamburgers. Their specialty is the charcoal grilled chicken, which is full of flavor and always juicy.“

“Great place for kids!!This place was recommended to us by a friend and we decided to stop in on a random Wednesday to check it out. The property is a bit far (we are based in NW Austin), but it is beautiful. It has ample outdoor seating - I would keep this in mind if the weather isn't awesome... not as much indoor. However, if the weather is beautiful, outdoor is the way to go.We are always looking for places to go to entertain our toddler and this fits the bill. Playscape for him, food for everyone, and drinks for mom and dad. Keep in mind the play scape isn't closed in, so keep an eye on the littles, they could run out. I only mention this because knowing this fact is important to me, but definitely not a ding on this place.“

“The staff are great and so very friendly! The atmosphere is beautiful and pleasant, with plenty of large trees and flower beds. There is lots of space to spread out and plenty of outdoor seating with tables. Indoor seating too. Very clean! 4 food trucks are there with tacos, Thai, bbq/biscuits, and American fare. They also have pastries from SourDuck, which are very good. “So, SO good. I’ve been craving Spanish food after coming back from Barcelona three months ago, and the food here tastes exactly like what my friends and I enjoyed there. Seafood paella and tortilla de patatas were delicious, plus the owner was really nice. 10/10 recommend!“

“Visited Austin over the holiday, with furbaby in tow. Great relaxing place to have a cocktail where we could bring along the pup. The cocktails were incredible. Went home with a bottle of Fierce Whiskers Distillery bourbon. learned later the served the holiday old fashioned with craft ice from FAT ICE.“

“Just tried Song La for the first time today. Shirley was so incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic. I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. Plus, everything is made to order and comes out super fresh (that said, don't come in a rush, make sure you've got a little time to enjoy their new spot at The Thicket and hang for a bit). Whether you've had Taiwanese food before and are craving it or just want to try some incredible fried chicken in a cool South Austin spot, definitely give them a try. ❤“

For all the carnivores out there my husband had the crispy beef tacos, lengua (yeah it's a thing) and chicken tacos. It's BYOTequila so we did!! Ancho Tamarind, Thai Lime, and Horchata....we had them all!!! “As a family we are so happy to have Radio East closer to our neighborhood!We love their Manchaca location which is on the way to school in the morning and now we have it right down the street.The food trucks are delicious- it's a great stop any day of the week... But on weekends there is always something fun going on ?? definitely turn in if you're driving by!I know my photo has a wine and beer (which was great!) but we love going for a breakfast sandwich and a decaf latte ?????“

“It was kind of an unusual setup, but the food was much better than anticipated. I tried the sliced brisket, macaroni and cheese, and potato salad.The brisket was fall apart tender and we'll seasoned. The macaroni and cheese was creamy and homemade. The potato salad was also objectively good, but a bit sweeter and tangier than I prefer.“

“So excited to have a tasty açaí bowl near me! The blend is amazing and smooth, not too sweet. And the granola, are you kiddingggg me?? So good. Nuts and all. The owners are super kind and blended this up for me right as they were heading out the door.“

“The beer here is great and constantly changing. It’s a brew pub that offers a quality environment to enjoy good brews and food. The food is surprisingly good, they serve paninis and salad. They have NA drinks like coffee as well as thc drinks but I haven’t tried either so I can’t speak on that.I do love the food here though, the food is great, I’ve had 2 or 3 different paninis and have been satisfied every time. The staff is really cool and it’s a good place to go relax, study, or enjoy a brew or 2. They have pretty good WiFi and it’s a pretty good overall spot.If you’re in the neighborhood I’d stop by.“

Fireplace with even fireplace visuals on the TVs. Great lighting and almost reminds me of a cozy cottage inside. “The Watering Bowl is a local treasure. Ample shade from heritage trees makes for a dreamy environment with lots of happy pup personalities around. I love that they serve local brews (don't sleep on the Blue Owl Mexican Martini!) The staff is cheerful and very attentive to making sure play stays positive and that their VIP furry customers stay happy. You'll find kiddie pools with unlimited tennis balls and a water features to keep dogs cool on a hot day. It's a treat for the humans and the dogs!“

“Funky little place in South Austin. You order inside at the bar, it's very dim and moody inside. You get a table number and find your preferred seating. I sat outside - there are plenty of covered and uncovered seating mostly comprised of picnic benches. I stRted with the philly cheesesteak eggrolls and they were unique. Didn't love them, but didn't hate them - I think the parmesan cheese on the outside was overkill, it gave the eggrolls a weird mouthfeel. The chicken sandwich was good, very solid and filling meal. A lot of beverage items both alcoholic and NA. Very neat vibe, would visit again!“

There is plenty of parking by the gym or around the gas station.They have one table you can eat at if you wish.I ordered the Chicken Korma. It was quite delicious though I would have liked maybe a little more chicken in it, but it was delicious.I definitely recommend.Parking: Parking available by Golds Gym or the parking spaces of the Shell gas station.Wheelchair accessibility: I was on crutches as I am temporarily disabled.
