“My Mom wanted BBQ, so I found this place on Google Maps. I was surprised it was in HEB. It's very clean and had lots of seating. Ordering was slow. The person at the register seemed like they had multiple responsibilities and there is already only 1 register with a person at it. You have to order via a self check out kiosk otherwise.

We both ordered the 1 meat plate which came with bread, 2 sides, sauce, pickles, and onions. I think the meat portion is small for what we are used to in TX. I thought the pictures of one slice of brisket was odd when I was ordering. Then my plate came and I understood. The brisket was moist and flavorful. My Mom enjoyed her 2 sides (beans and coleslaw). My collared greens and creamed corn were good. The creamed corn was a little spicy. Even with a smaller portion of meat, I'm excited to come back and try other items on the menu.

One thing about the bathroom, it needs to be cleaned more often. It looked like someone shaved in the sink.“

“This restaurant's food is very acceptable. I had the grilled meat plate and it was freshly made and well-grilled. I did not feel the taste of Turkish food, sumac and Turkish spices taste were missing. I guess they want to please a certain crowd, the casserole, steak and potato eater. However, the meat was good, tender and well grilled. I had the plate of appetizer and they were all good. The only down side is the price. My bill was $62.00. I only had a tea with my lunch. Had I ha al kebab and a drink, my bill would have been at least $35.00 which is really expensive for lunch at a neighborhood restaurant. I was in Dubai recently and found the food to be as expensive as here, but everything they serve you is the highest quality and so good you could die the next day happy! Which is not the case here.“

The noodles were SEASONED but very dry… The red beans and rice were so salty I felt my blood pressure go up! Baby my legs sure felt the sodium levels in my blood increase. I mixed a lil bit of the turkey meat to help. I will DEFINITELY be back but please, please get these minor issues fixed cuz without those issues this would easily be top 3 bbq spots. $48 for whats pictured.“

Particularly the southwest salad with Jalapeño ranch. They give you the options of onions, pickles and peppers as well as providing you with bread!“
