“After I took a friend to DFW airport at 5 a.m. this morning, I did not want to drive all the back to my home in way south of Dallas because I had a business meeting to attend at 10 a m. in way north Dallas in Richardson.
The night before, I called all sorts of fast food restaurants in the area near my meeting venue looking for a place that had Wi-Fi so I could work on my computer for four hours before my meeting. Only What-a-burger answered their phone, and they told me that none of their restaurants have Wi-Fi for their customers. 😭 I called 6-7 Jack in the Box restaurants. Only ONE answered their phone, and that woman hung up as soon as I asked about Wi-Fi. I also wanted to know what exactly "open 24 hours" meant. Did that mean dine-in or only drive-through? I had to go blind. When I got there at 5:30 a.m. the front door was locked and would not open until 6 a.m. I knocked on the drive-through window while standing in front of the window. The manager looked at me from a distance and waved me off, pointing at his watch. 😭
At 6 a.m. I went in and asked about Wi-Fi. Yes, I could use it. Yes! 👍 But in the middle of my work, while eating a delicious sausage "sandwich" and drinking coffee I had purchased there, their Wi-Fi went down and never came back. 😭 I asked if they could restart their Wi-Fi hardware (in my previous life I did IT work in a library and did that periodically). They said, "No." 😭 Lastly, they had many wall plugs all through the restaurant--but ALL HAD PLATES COVERING THEM so there was no way to plug in and get power. This was done to prevent the homeless in their neighborhood from plugging in to charge phones. 😭😭
The food was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Suggestions for Jack in the Box corporate:
1) Publish in the business overview result in a Google search:
1A) What "open 24 hours" means, and spell out when the front door opens.
1B) Do they have free Wi-Fi for customers?
1C) Tell prospective customers that there are or are not wall receptacles to plug into for power.
2) Provide a working phone number that WILL be answered by staff.
3) If the drive-through is really open 24-hours, don't have the manager look at his watch and wave the customer off.
It all sounds pretty critical. Sorry. I got my work done by switching to the tiny screen on my phone to look at large documents on the websites. Fortunately, the batteries in my phone and computer were fully charged. If the staff had been mean and unhelpful (fortunately, I was not homeless but looked professional and was well dressed and well-spoken), they would have gotten less than four stars in this review.“
“I love me some Jack in the Box especially the loaded breakfast and a #14 Spicy Chicken... But its also about your customer service too me and I dont care what area I'm in at night I will drive all the way to Pleasent Grove too go to this location the workers are great especially Sergio gone make it right everytime not just for me for everyone that have walked through the door or drive thru he running the show turning people frowns to a smile Great Manager Keep up the good work Sergio!“

“Been going to this jack in the box since I was literally born. The area has gone down a bit but you'll be fine, the drive through speaker is always having some type of issue though. The food is what you expect, it is jack in the box but I find this one to be slightly above average compared to other ones. Always have had good experiences talking with the employees.“
“Really and I mean Really great service the staff were very kind and polite and good sense of humor 🤣🤣. And the food was good they got every thing right. The burgers were good and juicy and flavorful and the milkshake were Really good not too sweet and not too bland just perfect. And pretty good prices. I will definitely becoming back in the future. “After a fun night of trunk or treating with the kiddos we stopped at this particular Jack in the box for some late night munchies. We were greeted upon entering by the cashier. I then made my way to the counter placed our order and had just began to fill our cups at the soda fountain station when our order # was called. I had my oldest help with the drinks and I brought our food to the table ( I was beyond amazed at how fresh and hot our food was ) bc like who likes cold tacos or fries?!“

“I've been going to this location for over 10 years and have nothing but good things to say. The service is awesome, staff is extremely friendly and it's always super clean. I normally come on Sundays with my partner in crime for brunch and she feels the same way. Keep up the good work 👍🏽👍🏽“
“I came in today and it was incredibly clean. Very friendly workers. The food was good too. I tried the Jack’s Spicy Chicken, and it was not very spicy. The taste was there, however, there was too much mayo. Not greasy though. We also got some curly fries and tacos. Great prices overall!“
“Pretty good Jack in the Box store. Came in for an early dinner, the dining room was clean and the cashier was kind and accepted our coupons.
Food came out fast and hot with no issues. Not my favorite place to eat but no problems here. Convenient location at Preston and Alpha“
“Had gone threw drive threw. Used a receipt to call and do the servay to get a free breakfast sandwich thing. Wasn't working for the first time but luckily the workers there helped and was able to get my free breakfast sandwich with purchase of one. So all worked out like normal. Staff was nice easy to deal with, problem was fixed fast and easy food was good. Will return.“
“We went just the other night and spent almost $20 on one combo meal and some cheese fries. They had the nerve to charge $12 for a burger that was thrown together and had next to nothing on it. We get stuck eating here a lot because the hours are convenient for our late night schedules but we find ourselves eating here less and less for reasons like this one.“

“Omg I went to this location because half my family wanted Jack 😂 and it’s been 3 years since I’ve been because of the previous employees. So I’m like let me give it a try. And the overnight cashier David was amazing. Great Coustomer service. Very polite and friendly and respectful. I will be back to that location only if he is there. It was 01:18am“
“The service is almost always great most or the people who work there are very helpful and willing to help me. If I ask for lots of hot sauce or any other sauces they almost always huck it up a few or the workers there go above and beyond making my experience so much better when they are there. Besides that food is good and always what you would expect from a jack in the box. Only thing the area dose have lots of homeless walking about.“
“40 years ago I moved a few blocks from here. And I've lived all over town. However this location is good, right on Central Expressway. Jack in the Box has NEVER been my favorite fast food but they have a broad, varied menu which makes them a good place to land sometimes. But I can't write anything bad about them. I'm just not crazy about the food. However they have so much of it, it's worth stopping and experimenting.“

“I went with my family one afternoon. Jeimy served me very kindly and very attentive. My order was two Jack's Spicy Chicken combo. I liked them a lot and from that day on they will be my favorite. My children ordered chicken nuggets with French fries. 100% recommended.“

“So far my experience has been mixed about the place, I live around the area so trust me when I say this it can be a hit or miss. Depending on the time you go and to which employee your greeted by, you could have no problem at all or the complete opposite. 8/10 I have zero problem, food is just right my order is right, but sometimes Depending on the employee and how busy the drive through is, you might be kept standing. And I understand alot of the reviews, but at the end of the day it's a FAST- food place and over time the name doesn't imply to how fast food comes out anymore. Or the quality, ur buying food from a fast food place that keep in mind is busy so it ain't a restaurant. At night it can be a bother and around 12 can also be a pain. Anyways that's enough with my ranting

“I would like to give Kudos to the kindest friendliest fast food restaurant manager Erica in this location, I stopped today before a Dr.apointment for lunch around 12:10-12:40ish and I order inside thru my online app as i was waiting for my brother that went with me to come out of the restroom, well I order wrongly (my fault) as i was very stressed about my apointment and she had asked me before if she could help me ,But I just kindly declined as I thought I was doing it correctly, well turns out I didn't, and she immediately offered to fix it for me with the kindest and gentle voice that honestly made me feel better about my coming apointment, I apologize and thanked her for helping even after I should of asked first instead of ordering online on my own ,but this jack in the box is thriving just looking and hearing how she interacted/greeted the customers and thanking them for coming and inviting to come back it was beautiful, and with a big nice smile that I could feel and tell is honest ! She also surprised me ,she talked perfect decent Spanish! She didn't stopped or hesitated to greet or take hispanic customers orders, she just like any bilingual other switched up the language fluently and beautifully! Please give this manager all the honors and credits along her team members this is the Reason us customers come back again and again not only for customer service but fAst, friendly awesome atmosphere also the fresh hot food we all love ! “Edit: did this location close permanently? There's dumpsters and an excavator. Edit: they have fixed the aforementioned problem of being closed all the time, and their quality of service has been back to top notch. Had an issue with my order today (it happens) and they were very good about resolving it. Always fast accurate and good, better than the other surrounding JIB restaurants too. It's been great having them nearby.“

Jack in the box had closed their lobby the evening of May 28, earlier than posted for the following holiday, which I did not know because I am from Oklahoma visiting Dallas for my nephew's graduation. He was kind enough to let me inside to use the restroom, UNLIKE, the MCDONALD'S next door, who's door I was just at pleading for only the restroom.I am also a disabled military veteran, which I didn't even mention to this kind hearted sir. MCDONALD'S ain't care, on MEMORIAL WEEKEND, at that!“

“This location is actually pretty good. I'm also a fan of Jack in the box since I was a little boy. The other day went I went I ordered my regular breakfast Jack combo with bacon instead of the regular ham. For the first time ever in all these years the cook had scrambled the egg in the sandwich instead of frying it hard like usual. I must say I don't know how it happened, but I actually liked it better! Now I'm sure if I ask them to ever do that again or at another location they would look at me like I was crazy.. The staff at this location changes often. However, usually it's a good experience with minimal issues.“
“Hi, to everyone I hope you're having a wonderful weekend Sunday night since I'm still up I decided to let you know how my experience at Jack In The box. Sometimes I don't check my bag when I pull off in the Drive-Thru but anyway when I got home last night I was disappointed because my salad that I purchased the salad dressing wasn't in the bag but the one that I wanted they gave me another brand something that I can't eat because of my strict diet but anyway I put it in the refrigerator so when I go back I am going to go back in the Drive-Thru and tell them to give me my right salad dressing the one that I like it is something like vinaigrette it is very good and very low fat if you watching your figure like me this is one of my New Year resolutions. Awesome grilled chicken salad I love the lettuce it is so green and fresh you will be very satisfied check them out but please make sure that you try out the vinaigrette. The service was okay but she could have did better. Maybe I will go back in 2 weeks good night sleep tight and don't forget when you go into a drive through double check your bag..... Disappointed“
“This Jack in Box stands out against other Jack in the Boxes, other burger places and other fast food places. The manager here tries to get evert order right every time. On the rare occasions when it's not right, they fix it without a hassle. Cindy and I like almost everything they serve. I especially like the loaded mini tacos and the larger burgers. Cindy likes the sour dough Jack and the loaded fries.“

“I was at this JITB today and the 🍟 were horrible, like it came out of a microwave oven. I had a Sourdough Jack sandwich and that was really good. The place was clean and organized. The main door was locked, so I had to use a door on the side of the building. I also had a cheesecake and as always, it was superb.“
