“This food is amazing, and I'm not even vegan! Michael was super nice and gave me a free cookie. The BBQ plate looked, smelled, and tasted soooooo good. Vibes are great, and there's outdoor seating too for when it's not 105°F outside. Highly recommend for vegan and non-vegans alike!“

“I would like to respectfully start with; I’ve been to Uchi multiple times over the years and will never forget my first experience (which will always be the best in my mind.) That being said — tonight might have been the closest to first I’ve ever had. Chance, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, easy going, brought some of the best plates when we asked “bring us what you like/anything you think we missed” literally 12/10 would recommend. Ask for Chance, he knows his shiiiiiiii* and made our night absolutely amazing and something we will never forget!“

“Went to Eddie V’s Downtown Austin with a group and had a great experience. The service was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly for a larger table.
The food was really good. I had the sea bass, which is one of my favorites anywhere, and it did not disappoint. We finished with the crème brûlée with berries, which was light, not too sweet, and the perfect way to end the meal.
Great spot downtown for groups, good food, and excellent service.“

“way too expensive. Atmosphere is Nice. ribs are soft and pull off bone with perfect bark, however too sweet for my personal taste. I like savory spicy. brisket was good but should have gotten marble like last time. last time flavor was better and meat was hot and fresher. sausage was a no for me personally it tasted grainy and was barely warm. Mac and cheese is good and husband said potato salad was a 3 or 4. best barbecue is Southside Market-Flavor, Henry's in Austin by the airport.“

“Just completed a tour of the Central Texas Barbecue Scene. Visited Snow's BBQ-Lexington, Louie Mueller-Taylor, Kreus Market, Smitty's and Black's-Lockhart, The Salt Lick- Driftwood and Franklin's in Austin. It was great seeing the venues and the family history at these historic sites. I visited Franklin's in the past and felt it was the best brisket I had ever eaten in my life. I am a skeptic when it comes to famous barbecue joints. I must say that Franklin's BBQ was far superior to all of the restaurants I visited with no one even a close second. Aaron's attention to detail from the service, choice of briskets, the cook, the wrap, the holding and even the slicing of the final product is evident in every aspect of his trade. I was lucky enough to run into him at the restaurant and he happily talked BBQ with me. Franklin's may not have the long history of muti-generational BBQ in Central Texas, but he has figured it all out at a level that I have yet to see equaled by the best venues in the country. This is a bucket list restaurant for those who really enjoy BBQ. It is well worth the wait in line“

“I reserved online for my daughter’s birthday and got into town an hour earlier and they still were able to accommodate us. At the table with the menus was a birthday card with a really nice and meaningful note on the inside. Staff, drinks, and food were amazing! Definitely recommend checking this place out.“

“Easygoing, quiet, unstimulating vibe with a serene outdoor dining area. Feels a lot like a Buddhist meditation retreat center dining hall. Loved to see several folks hanging out and quietly reading books. The food is nicely cooked and very mildly seasoned, which makes sense. But if you're selling Mexican food, how do you have NO salsas, peppers, or hot sauces?? Yet the tables have soy sauce and a nutritional yeast shaker? Like who made this decision lmao.“

“Love Bouldin Creek Cafe! They have so many great vegetarian options, which we really appreciate. The stir fry was delicious, and the hummus sandwich with sprouts was excellent. We went back after two years, and it was still a great experience. We got desserts to go which were wonderful too. Just one hiccup, we felt the veggie burger this time was on the dry side and less flavorful, but overall we really enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back.“

“Pretty good vegan food! The mac and cheese had a really great consistency, but it was a little bland. I also had one of their sandwiches, which I would say had the same issue. But all things considered I would still recommend it as a vegan spot in town!“

“Amazing food! Every dish we tried was DE-LICIUOS! Wait staff and hosts are lovely people. Atmosphere and vibe is warm and inviting here. My only suggestion for this restaurant is that they turn the volume down on the music. It really is WAY TOO loud. Other than that, visit often so that you can try the entire menu!“

“Only next level Japanese dining enthusiasts would be able to immediately recognize that they have chosen well. If you are lucky enough to discover the Happy Hour menu then you’ve hit the jackpot. Do yourself a favor and go because ain’t nobody have dry aged fish! What?!? Yes this separates Lucky Robot from the rest of the Japanese places in Austin. Put it on the bucket list folks!“

“This place was excellent! I had a boozy salted caramel Iced coffee that was amazing. The cinnamon roll french toast was delicious with fresh fruit and an ooey gooey drizzle. The Floridian omelette was rich and full of flavor. The grits were so creamy, I requested some cheese on top but it honestly didn't need any. the Bacqueza Omelette was savory and smokey with just enough spice and creaminess from the cream cheese. Our server Isaiah was polite and provided us great service. The only issue we had was how rude and uninterested the hostess was.“

“We found the Toasty Badger while searching for a good breakfast/brunch spot in Austin. The food was great! It is hard to believe how good the gluten-free pancakes taste and the bacon was extra crispy, exactly how I Iike it. The seating is limited so I highly recommend making a reservation. The place was packed the whole time we were there. My wife loved her eggs Benedict too!“

“I am the person consistently ordering your Honey Pear pizza (without basil) biweekly on DoorDash. I was never quite sure where you were located and thought you might be a ghost kitchen located in a brewery. I was lucky enough to happen across the actual locale of my traveling pizzas with a pal and of course I dragged them with me to get it fresh from the source—after all, I’d already been sending photos and urging them to try.
This place was everything I could’ve dreamed of. Killer tunes (classic punk bangers—I’m talking Minor Threat, Descendents, and more), wide selection of beers, wines, and ciders, including nonalcoholic options (not just fountain drinks). They have a beautiful patio space out front with umbrellas for shade & water bowls for your furry friends. My friend looked at me weird when I asked for a large for us to split—then we downed it no problem. FANTASTIC flavor and crust, just perfect composition. I’ve never had a bad experience with the Honey Pear. It’s so good I’m afraid to try anything else. I love you guys. It’s been a rough couple weeks but you’re always there 💛“
