“We walked in to pick up a to go order and were warmly greeted. The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“I loved this restaurant when I first ate here 28 years ago. I moved away but was in Dallas last night so I made a reservation and it was even more amazing than I remembered. The service was impeccable. Our waiter Charlie was amazing and recommended the best wine pairings but the food… ah the food…. Let’s just say if I ever have a “last meal” I would want it to be this. I got the champagne Brie soup, the Filet Rossini and flourless chocolate cake. Each bite was perfection. Seriously, one of the best meals of my life. Hope it doesn’t take another 28 years to return. “This is probably the best steakhouse experience in Dallas. I do not say that lightly at all, I have a lot of places I love to go for a steak but this one out does them all. Food quality is unreal, service is unmatched, ambiance is just right (not too big not too small of a space) and their wine list is impeccable. If you're on the fence, make the reservation.“

“We’re visiting Dallas from Chicago for the first time, and our experience at Nirvana was truly special. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and cared for.

A special shout-out to” Deep “, our waiter, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. We were really craving a nice, warm cardamom tea, even though it wasn’t the usual time for it. Deep and the team somehow made it happen for us, and that small gesture meant so much!

The appetizers were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Everything felt thoughtful, fresh, and made with genuine care. But what really stood out was the hospitality. It’s not often that you come across someone who takes such personal pride in making sure their guests have a wonderful experience.

As first-time visitors to Dallas, Nirvana gave us one of those experiences that we will remember long after our trip. Thank you, Deep, and the entire Nirvana team, for making us feel so welcome and going the extra mile.

We started with the lobster bisque and the steak tartare, and both were excellent. For our entrées, I had the French dip, and my wife ordered the steak salad. She really enjoyed it, and after trying a few bites, I can definitely recommend it as well. For dessert, I had the restaurant's famous coconut cream pie, which I thought was very good. My wife enjoyed it even more than I did. She also ordered the crème brûlée, and it was delicious . One of our first dates nearly 20 years ago in Brooklyn included a memorable crème brûlée, so she almost always orders it when it's on the menu. Most don't quite measure up, but I think this one surpassed it. We both agreed it was one of the best we've had. Overall, it was a great brunch with excellent food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back, and we're looking forward to trying dinner next time.“

Drinks came out pretty quick and the bartender was friendly and actually took time to recommend a few things. Music was decent too, loud enough to keep the vibe going but you could still have a conversation. We hung around longer than we planned because it just felt comfortable.
