“We were glad to return to this tried and true restaurant. Our steaks were perfect and all the side dishes delicious. We had a wonderful waitress and overall immaculate service. The staff did their best to accommodate our request for a less noisy environment within the restaurant. Our guests were delighted and we could see they truly enjoyed their dining experience. It is not an inexpensive restaurant but well worth the money if one wishes to have a memorable evening. I feel the staff would be well equipped to handle a special event, such as a birthday or small party. No wait in getting our car when we left. So everything flowed efficiently and smoothly from arrival to departure. We will definitely return.“

“Great drinks and great service. This bar offers some of the best cocktails in the city. All their bartenders are true professionals and even with it getting very busy do provide great service.

The only downside about this place it is kind of small especially with how busy this place can get. You might have to stand to enjoy your drink but you will still have a great time.“

“I am a new regular visitor of Houston since my boyfriend moved here a few weeks ago and decided to order a random veggie sandwich and soup… the veggie Sammie and posole from local foods is probably the best veggie sandwich I have ever had!!! The posole was A+++++ and I am from El Paso Texas, where grew up on posole and have some of the best Mexican food you’ll ever eat. The sandwich was so flavorful and fresh, I added tofu and vegan aioli and could not believe how delicious this was! The posole was top knotch! Clean, tasty and the perfectly seasoned. “We attended Reggae Night on a Thursday and had a great time! When we arrived around 9:30pm, the DJ (Caucasian male) was jamming, even though the crowd was small. We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered rum punch and wings, both of which were really good. Between playing Connect 4, dancing, and soaking in the music, we enjoyed ourselves for a little over an hour. Definitely a fun, laid back vibe!“

“So we did Dine in the Dark here. No photos to post and will not tell you what was on the menu, but I was very good! It’s amazing how senses changed when one was taken away. Something you need to experience for yourself.“

The shop has plenty of seating and good vibes, but most of the chairs are fixed without backs. That means the few tables with benches and back support are usually taken, leaving the rest a bit uncomfortable if you’re hoping to really settle in.

Service is consistently slow, no matter the location. Even if we’re the only ones in line, there’s always a wait for drinks. That said, it’s still a nice spot with a warm atmosphere, good coffee, and a laid-back feel — just don’t come here in a rush or expecting to “post up” comfortably for long.“

“It is certainly not a large posh place but somewhere you may feel comfortable however you dress and whether or not you know anyone. The owner and bar keeper are like family and served bbq shrimp on the counter for customers. I attended a memorial for an actor and it was just right. If it bothers you that the ceiling was leaking into a bucket this may not be your place but, for me and the others, no body seemed to notice.“

“There was so much food, and though I tried really hard to have room to try everything, it was just impossible, there are too many dishes. Everything was delicious, from bacon to salmon sashimi all the way to raw oysters, it was all wonderful. Bottomless mimosas! Our server made sure our mimosas were topped off the whole time. “We came for Sunday brunch. We got four apps for four people and shared them. The servings were huge! The food was all good. The buffalo cauliflower was delicious, and Brussel sprouts were really good as well! The queso was a light on meat to the point that I can't remember if it had bacon or chorizo. And the guac wasn't bad but not amazing. Good all around.“

“This place has Houston Haze IPA on tap. If you're into the H-town craft beer scene and dig IPAs (like basically every beer bro on the planet) then you've likely heard of Spindle Tap brewery and know Houston Haze (if not, check it out, HEB has it in cans in the Houston area). Man this stuff is dank on draft, it's so Hazy that you can watch it swim around in the glass like the nitrogen settling in a Guinness. I discovered it about 20 min before boarding and had a couple big ones. Pounded, not regretted!! Keep that stuff on tap and I'll stop by everytime in terminal D. Get some!“

Also I have never had a pizza place that could do a pizza half/half with different sauces. Usually it's only toppings but same sauce when doing half/half. Making this my go to pizza place“

“What a great restaurant! 4 of us had the goat cheese/apple salad, medium rare ribeye steak au poirve with red wine reduction, short ribs, scallops, crème brule, and chocolate brownie with strawberry sorbet. All dishes were perfection. Hostess/waitress/sommelier Irena is charming and the wife of the chef. She used the proper wine thief tool to remove the cork on a 40 year old Bordeaux and did so perfectly.“

“Had the most delightful high noon tea experience. Brought in 15 ladies, and none left dissatisfied. Quick apology to other diners if we were too loud.
The table decor was soo immaculate. Food was delicious, though not enough for 15 women. I ate a savory scone, though the young lady said some sweet ones were part of it. Never saw them on my side. But everything we ate, was delicious.
Here was my observation about food served. None of the items brough out was evenly distributed, if each person was supposed to eat at least 1 peace of each item brought. I hope the chef and manager pay attention to that. Seems if you have a large group, you get served less food per person. 1 server for my party wasn't enough. Tea always got cold or finished before we could get a refill. The young lady though did her best, and I applaud her for her composure. Tea options were tasty as well, especially the toasted coconut and Chai.
