“Came to try the pizza and was totally blown away by all of the food!!! The pane was delicious and light seasoned perfectly. The ricotta appetizer was delicious but very heavy on onions. So be aware. The special pizza of r here evening was calabrese and was really good. Nice Napoli fold on the crust! Good sauce that wasn’t too sweet. Desserts were great!! Almond biscotti was amazing!! Latte was a really good coffee!! Amour server was delightful and very attentive. We felt right at home and no rushed at all. Will be back! The menu has so many items we want to try!“

Their selection of premium steaks is outstanding, but what makes this place even better is the variety for non-steak eaters—think perfectly seared scallops, fresh fish, and even flavorful goat chops. The sides are just as impressive: rich and earthy mushrooms, crispy Parmesan garlic fries, and beautifully caramelized Brussels sprouts.

“I have family in this town. Knowing my ancestry I was ask to go dine here. Was my second time in Houston but first time to enjoy it properly. Barcelona was no deception. I am often critical of native food overseas. Portions, atmosphere and even (although not tried this time) occasional great surprises; wine pairing is exceptional and from peers feedback, the cocktails did not disappoint either. B (our server) and the management courteous greetings are commendable. In addition, having a Valet P next door is a plus as this area is probably quite expensive to park otherwise. So yeah. “My husband found this hidden gem for a Monday night date night spot. We loved that they had jazz music at eight on Monday nights and despite a rainy evening and me thinking that it would not be as crowded the place got packed. The music was amazing and this bar caters a very simple menu comprising of pizzas. We ended up getting the special which was the chicken Tikka masala pizza and we absolutely loved it. It wasn’t Chicago style or New York style or Neapolitan it was something of its own. The pizza base was thin almost naan like and it was crispy and flavourful. By the time it was 9 pm, the place was at its peak with standing room only. This place also seems to do other fun things during the week so will definitely be back to check it out.“

The posole was A+++++ and I am from El Paso Texas, where grew up on posole and have some of the best Mexican food you’ll ever eat. The sandwich was so flavorful and fresh, I added tofu and vegan aioli and could not believe how delicious this was! The posole was top knotch! Clean, tasty and the perfectly seasoned. The owner and bar keeper are like family and served bbq shrimp on the counter for customers. I attended a memorial for an actor and it was just right. If it bothers you that the ceiling was leaking into a bucket this may not be your place but, for me and the others, no body seemed to notice.“

If you're into the H-town craft beer scene and dig IPAs (like basically every beer bro on the planet) then you've likely heard of Spindle Tap brewery and know Houston Haze (if not, check it out, HEB has it in cans in the Houston area). Man this stuff is dank on draft, it's so Hazy that you can watch it swim around in the glass like the nitrogen settling in a Guinness. I discovered it about 20 min before boarding and had a couple big ones. Pounded, not regretted!! Keep that stuff on tap and I'll stop by everytime in terminal D. Get some!“

“This is the hotel restaurant located off the lobby. We ate here because it was so close (5 minute drive) to the Hobby Center where we were going to see a musical. Our server mentioned if we were staying at the hotel they offer a free shuttle to the Center. My wife had the crispy chicken with the polenta. It was tender and juicy and very flavorful. I had the salmon over the wild rice. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. I wish we had room to try one of the tempting desserts. Excellent service, we were made to feel very welcomed. It was a bit noisy due to being right next to the bar and the open kitchen where they did not appear to be concerned about how much noise was being created.“
