The amazement when you walk in alone is phenomenal. I’m kinda in love. But when I saw they serve LOTUS… I knew it was meant to be!!!!! The baristas was soooooo polite and patient. The atmosphere was fantastic!!!“

“Ordered a large tea double milk double sugar and unfortunately the girl was so excited at the prospect of a "double double" she gave me double cream in my tea instead of double milk, which I understand is just teething problems since they don't know proper tea etiquette. But otherwise service was fast and friendly, food was fresh, and it was a wonderful slice of home, since I'm from Hamilton and I grew up around there corner from the very first Timmies on Ottawa St. in Hamilton.“

“Luce Avenue Coffee inside HEB is a must visit for coffee lovers! The barista is welcoming and clearly passionate about coffee, recommending their signature Black Island.

The drink had a smooth, earthy vibe from the charcoal powder. The creamy mix of coconut milk and half-and-half are balancing the drink with a gentle richness. It’s creamy but not too heavy, and the espresso shots add a much-needed layer of depth and boldness.

I’ll definitely be back to try more, but Black Island has already won me over!“

“Really cute coffee shop in Katy! I loved all the variety from the specialty lattes, it gives you so many options to choose from. The interior was super cozy with some board games available. Ample seating and looks like a good place to work/study as well. The barista was very sweet and I really enjoyed my latte.“

“Tried Scooters Coffee for the first time today. We used the app to order. They don’t start making it until you get there, even with the app. It took quite a while to get our order through the drive thru. Luckily no one was behind us at the time. My coffee was really good. Disappointed in the fruit and cream drink though. Lots of large ice pieces and very bland. We’ll try other options next time. Prices are rather steep, too, imho“

Good atmosphere- sometimes it gets super noisy for a coffee shop but the WIFI is pretty good and the seating variety is nice. Good meet up spot.“

“I absolutely love Tom N Toms! I come here frequently because most of the drinks have bold coffee. The environment is always relaxed, clean, and the workers are friendly ?

I think they either switched their beans or espresso machines recently which changed the flavors of certain drinks. I’m disappointed because I’m particular about flavors but the Oriental latte is always delicious and I know they always do a great job!“

“Minuti Coffee has always been my favorite, and this location is no exception. It’s consistently nice and cozy, and they usually provide excellent service—except for today. I believe they may have changed the manager.

The manager brought up a rule that I had never heard of before. I’ve been using the Minuti Card since it was introduced. My usual routine is to reload $30 onto my card, get my free coffee, and then use the card to pay for the rest of my order. However, today, the manager told me that I couldn’t use my Minuti Card on the same day I reload it because, according to her, the system wouldn’t allow it.

I asked if this was a new rule because no one had ever mentioned it before. I even asked her to try processing it because I knew it would work—I’ve done it the same way for years. Sure enough, it worked, and I was able to pay with my Minuti Card immediately after reloading it. Despite this, she insisted that it’s a rule and that it worked “this time” but wouldn’t next time.

This policy doesn’t make sense to me. If it really is a rule, I would expect someone to have informed me before, which would have avoided today’s issue. Even if it is an actual rule, the way she explained it came across as dismissive and unprofessional.

I’m leaving this review because of her attitude. I truly love this location and hope they take steps to ensure experiences like this don’t ruin its reputation.“
