“On Sunday, we had a photo shoot next door to this place and of course arrived early. My daughter was “starving” and I decided to try out this place based on reviews.We ordered her a kids Brisket Sandwich and Mac n cheese to go. We actually shared it and it filled both of us up which is shocking because kids meals are normally so small. Ps…we tore everything apart and mixed it with the Mac and bbq sauce and OMG MOUTH WATERING. Lol. They even toast the buns! It was like our own bbq bowl.Service is ON POINT. I’m talking teenagers with manners and great customer service and great attitude! SO SWEET! We come from Frisco and don’t come to Lake Dallas, but I plan to come back just to try this place with the whole family! Prices were decent too and in my opinion I think this place is better than Hutchins.I normally take pics of all my meals but didn’t get the chance this time. “Yet another Lewisville hidden gem!! If you love barbecue, you must try this place out, everything was so delicious! We got the corn and mac and cheese as our sides and they were top tier, I highly recommend. I also got the pulled pork sandwich, the meat was stacked high and was tender. When we got there, a man was playing live music and it really added to the vibes. Lastly if you come on a friday or saturday they give you a free cinnamon roll with your meal if you dine in. This was a 5/5 experience and we will be back!“

“Everything was so fresh & tender. I had a feeling the food wouldn't be as delicious as the reviews, but I was wrong. I enjoyed the brisket, smoked turkey, baked beans & the mac & cheese. The banana pudding was so yummy, creamy & fluffy.My only critics are the Mac & cheese noodles are cook al dente. I think it should be cooked just a few seconds more to soften them up a bit. The banana pudding could use a bit less banana flavoring. I dot care for the toast either. The butter/oil taste very cheap.I would love to see an addition of collard greens or smothered green beans added to the menu. Some type of veggie fresh/ raw would be great besides the onion slices.“

“We come here quite frequently and have turned a lot of people on to Aris. We had a table of eight tonight and even though we had a couple of people who ware having their first experience with Aris, most of the people helping us ware really sweet and tried to help the best they could. We had a few people helping out our table, but the two I need to shout out are Adam and another lovely waitress who was smiling from ear to ear everytime she helped us (I unfortunately did not get her name). I believe she's newer as I have not seen her before and as I said, we frequent this place! Their service was amazing and the food was great! However, I will say that I am disappointed with the LA Galbi as it is nothing but fat and bones now and barely any meat. Also, the pork shoulder portions were a little smaller than usual and not as seasond. For the prices, I do wish the meat portion and quality were more consistent. Overall, everyone was satisfied and because of the beautiful smiling lady and the seriously hilarious Adam, we had an amazing night and we will definitely be back soon!Dietary restrictions: We have someone who is allergic to citrus and they did not have a flare up so that's a win! “I'm a little ways away from Marty B's but it was worth the drive to try it out. The parking is on gravel but there's a large area for it. I went for lunch so there wasn't any live music but the outdoor area had plenty of seating. I liked that there was both indoors and outdoors. The food was good. I can appreciate that they give you an option on lean of a little fatties slice of brisket as well. The jalapeño goes great on top of the meats. The sides were a little cold but nothing to complain about or leave a bad review. The sides are def not from KFC. The ambiance is nice. I'd drive the extra time to eat here.“

“The customer service at this place is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The brisket is delicious. The portions for the brisket sandwich are a bit scant. It could be because I had sliced brisket instead of chopped, but there could've been at least 2 more pieces. Same goes with the "PPO", just a touch more pickles/peppers/onions to fix the sandwich ratio. The mac & cheese itself is okay, it's saving grace is the brisket mixed in which elevates the dish's overall flavor. All in all, I'd definitely come back to try a few other things on the menu.“

“We decided to try a new (to us) place for dinner. Chubz Spudz popped up and we went for it. The wait was really long, but ABSOLUTELY worth it! Holy smokes this stuff is yummy! We got the baked potato and 2 ribs combo. My goodness I haven't had ribs that tender in forEVER!!! And the potato???? Are you kidding me???? SOOOOOO GOOD! And the amount of food....HUGE!!! Amazing food, give them a try! We have enough leftover for lunch for the entire weekend!!!“

“I recently returned to Texas from an overseas trip and used that as an excuse to celebrate with my friends over KBBQ! I've wanted to try Saemaeul since they first opened, and I'm so glad I finally stopped by. We came here on a busy Saturday evening when every table was filled and there was a party of 12 ahead of us on the list. Depsite this, we were seated after only ~10 minutes of waiting! We ordered the beef special combo plus an order of samgyeopsal, and boy was it a lot of food. I was really worried we would end up leaving unsatisfied because I'm used to AYCE bbq spots, but I was super wrong. The meat here was so delicious, I much prefer high quality plain meat to dip in sauce or salt myself versus sugary marinated meat, so I was super happy with how fresh everything tasted. The special comes with your choice of soup, we got the kimchi jjigae and it was gone within minutes. They are very generous with the side dishes, and not to worry, they will refill them free of charge despite not being AYCE. We had maybe five plates of lettuce because samgyeopsal and kimchi wrapped in lettuce is just the best thing ever. I enjoyed every single cut of meat we ate despite my typical basic order of bulgogi not being present. The combos are a great way to expand your palette a tiny bit if you're like me and tend to order the same things every time. They had multiple types of soju you can order, which was also appreciated. I got something new (Saero) and ended up really liking it! The servers here grill your meat for you, which was a bit of an adjustment because I'm used to doing it myself, but I ended up really enjoying leaving it up to the server. I felt like I actually got to fully engage in conversation at the table (designated meat grillers of their friend groups get what i mean hehe). I had a really really good time here, and while Samaeul isn't within my regular budget, this is a great place for birthdays and celebrations, though I don't know if I would bring a huge group here since the tables are all for 3-4 people max. This is my new favorite Korean BBQ spot and I will definitely come back!“

“Staff moves quickly but they don’t check up on you very much. I love the food. Skewers are fantastic, and they make veggies taste heavenly. My favorites are the lamb skewers and the hibachi cauliflower and hibachi broccoli.They have a house specialty spice mix that taste really good. They use a lot of cumin; normally dislike cumin and find it overpowering, but at Fat Ni there is something about the other spices that they mix it with that tastes amazing. I'm a huge fan of Korean BBQ and I tend to choose a restaurant based on the quality of meat, service, and ambiance. Before visiting this location, I've dined in their LA, NYC, Seoul, and Daegu branches.Our server, Hailey, was super friendly and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations and made us feel right at home. The place is marketed as upscale BBQ, the closest I can think of competition wise would be Marty B's. But the biggest gripe with it is price. The out the door price with tip and no drink for the food in the picture is $36. They need to offer some kind of plate with a 1/2 lbs of meat and two sides in the $19-22 range like their competition. The clientele around the Riverwalk is young adults, families with young children and some retirement aged individuals. None of which will repeatedly pay that much per person for BBQ. And I suspect that's why it's tables were empty even though every single one at Under Dogs and Piehole are full. The happy hour prices for drinks and apps I think are very fair. But BBQ and meal prices need some work.“

That was understandable. our table of four got decent service, but the rest of friends got the cold shoulder after a few rounds of order.Be prepare for a very slow dinner because they change the grill very very very often. Why does this matter; it’s because every time you get a new grill you have to wait for the grill to heat up to the right temperature all over again.“

The food has always been great, but the staff was not good in the communication area. You can sense A whole new attitude. They removed the trash cans and they actually remove your trash themselves. We went on a Thursday night around 8 and waited over 15 minutes for water. But the sweet rolls are yummy and my blue steak was pure perfection. You have to choose between BBQ or Hot Pot, unlike their Lewisville location, but that's not an issue for us. “We have went by this place many times. We finally stopped in. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Their BBQ is good. The brisket is tender. I cut mine with a fork,no knife needed.
