“Nishiki Ramen did not disappoint! On our first visit, we started with edamame and pork gyoza. For entrees, we ordered chicken ramen and pork ramen. Both were very tasty. The service was attentive and the food was delivered to our table quickly. We will be back!“

“This is a staple for us. We love getting sushi to-go and also enjoy the fried rice as well as some of the appetizers. They are very friendly and although at times it can get a little busy, good sushi isn't made fast. So just order ahead of time! Really nice guy who runs the place and the chef in the back is excellent as well!“

The scallops were incredibly fresh and buttery, and the sea bass was cooked to perfection with a delicate texture and clean taste. You can really tell the chefs care about quality and technique. “Delicious and delectable variety of katsu and udon bento offerings. Katsu proteins are savory and lightly fried to perfection - no greasy taste, just crispy meaty goodness. Udon noodles made plump but not watery. Miso soup was heaven. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lobby is pristinely clean, with airy comfy atmosphere.“

“Absolutely our favorite spot for jjampong, easily. We’ve been three times in the past couple weeks. 🥹 The owner is super sweet and so, so welcoming each time we come in. We’ve been looking for a great jjampong spot since Kyodong closed down and believe me, we’ve been to many. This one is it!

We’ve tried the black bean noodles (a great value at 6.99?!), seafood jjampong (packed with a good amount of seafood!), seafood noodle soup, and the pork belly teriyaki. Everything has been delicious! We’ve been back every time for their jjampong and it’s been consistently amazing.

You can also ask for spicier jjampong and rice instead of noodles!

“Went by on a Friday night and surprised to see very few people when we walked in. Walter and staff was very friendly. Nice atmosphere, and the sushi was great! We had a salmon tower and giant sushi burrito. Both were awesome!! I’m not typically a sushi fan but this was delicious and a really great dinner. We’ll be back next time we want sushi! “I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. Needless to say I am very excited that they are finally open again! If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

“Delicious food, great service, and super fresh! They have simple GF and vegan sushi options, and a ton of other normal options so everyone can enjoy (we brought GF soy sauce to use). Make sure to tip accordingly for dine-in service, because at first I thought it was self-serve, but turns out they provide a typical service experience for everything besides drinks! Overall wonderful experience and will be going back. This is the new go-to sushi spot for the fam.“

“My husband and I have been eating here since they opened. The teriyaki chicken is my favorite. I see some reviews complaining the chicken doesn't come slathered in sauce but in my opinion that's a bonus. Anyways, the owners are so lovely and really care about the food they make. “I use DoorDash and they had a couple of buy one get one free specials and decided to order. I was surprised it was open past 10:00 and decided to order. It was really good. I’m not sure I’d order full price for a delivery but a volcano roll and two California rolls if I can remember (large portions). For maybe $40 and tip. I’d order again. It came with the good soy sauce as well. I usually keep some on hand but used theirs. I would recommending getting more wasabi and ginger. I order more sauce on pizza. So I do like certain things. The pork chops were perfectly crispy, though a bit lean for my taste—I personally prefer a fattier cut. That said, it was still a great lunch, and the fried oysters were equally delicious. I’d definitely come back for another meal!“

“If you’re looking for incredible sushi, Basil Cafe is a must-visit. The sushi here is absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully prepared, and consistently high quality every time we go.

The service always goes above and beyond. On our very first visit, our waitress took the time to walk us through the menu and point out some fan favorites, which made it so much easier to decide what to order. That level of attentiveness really set the tone for a great experience, and the staff has been just as welcoming on every visit since.

“This spot is so affordable that it's hard to take off any points for quality or atmosphere. Of course you can't expect the best quality for how quick and cheap it is, but this is my favorite spot when I'm craving a LOT of fish. The salmon sashimi is a ridiculously good deal with huge portions + thick cut pieces, and all of the sashimi salads are delicious and loaded up too. I try to avoid rolls and most things with rice because their rice is often overcooked/gelatinized (again, I really can't dock points for anything when it's just SO AFFORDABLE). I've already ordered take out from here 5x in the past couple months :-)“

“Hands down the best poke place in the Richardson area! I've been eating here for years! Fish is always fresh, portions are always good, I'm always happy and satisfied with their food, and the price is VERY fair. I've cut out most mid-range sushi in favor of eating here and it's never let me down. Their teas are also delicious and very customizable! The owner and employees are also all very kind and sweet people. I literally cannot recommend it ENOUGH, do not even bother with other poke places, it won't beat Fukuro“
