“While passing through, I stopped in today for the first time and I'm very pleased with my rib sandwich. The meat came right off the bone. My sandwich had 3 full ribs with the rib tips. The meat was well seasoned and tender. Their ribs is on point! Highly recommend.“

“Turning Point is one of our favorite breweries in the DFW area and we make it a point to to stop in anytime we are in the area visiting family. Having visited breweries across the US, one thing that is usually lacking in quality 99% of the time is food. I am not sure how long Godspeed has been serving up their delicious BBQ at Turning Point but the brewery should do everything they can to retain them. Godspeed has some of THE BEST brisket I have ever had in my life. It was melt in your mouth good and the bark was perfection. They have bbq sauce available but this is one of those times you should let the meat speak for itself and savor the flavor of it on its own before you douse it in sauce. I promise you will thank me later for this. Also, the beans were FANTASTIC!!! I can understand if y’all don’t want to share the recipe but they were some of the best beans I have ever had! We were hoping to find some fantastic BBQ on our visit and decided to end our at at Turning Point. Who knew we would find some of the best BBQ we have ever had in our entire lives??? The family that runs it is super friendly too. Shout out to the owner’s Dad who was so kind and generous with his time chatting us up! “In February of 2018 when TexRail opened up for business. My wife and I on decided to Ride the Train. We got off in Grapevine and A.J.s on Main was open so we went in. AJ and I kind of hit it off both being Service Vets from the same era. Hard to believe its been nearly 6 years ago now. “This Rudy's location is consistently good. I like their smoked potatoes loaded with turkey or pork loin. Pulled pork sandwiches are good as well. Rudy's does not have a fryer, so no fries or fried okra, but lots of other sides to choose from. I bought a bottle of their Sissy Sause to take home.“

“I love this restaurant/gas station. They have a wide variety of items, food, lots of wines, in-house BBQ, and more. I only gave the (produce) food two stars because it was always excellent.., until the cantaloupe gave me food poisoning. It may have been a fluke but, sadly, I can’t recommend the fruit for this reason. I have not had any such issues with the actual restaurant side of the business, only the packaged fruit.“

“Delicious food for a reasonable price“

“The food at this location has changed. The free peanuts are still a treat as well as the fresh rolls. The drinks are good as well as the salads. The steaks have made a turn, and I don't know if it's the time if day or location. One does seem to be better than the other. But what we look for is consistency with our food. I order a steak w/ mushrooms, with a loaded baked potato and a salad. I can truely say that my salad was the only thing that was the same. The mushroom were over powering the taste of the steak as when I usually place this order my mushrooms are on the side of my steak or in another fish. My baked potato was rather small and the cheese and added hoping were ok. I know my visit to this location was a first, but we usually wait for the gross to be seasoned before trying new locations. The margaritas on the other hand was a hit, but that's may have been the alcohol talking. I'll try this place again in due time. Just due the cost and taste of the steak, which us usually a hit just wasn't this go around.
