“We ate at Waco Waffle today. They had a lot of business but still got everyone in and with their food in an impressively timely manner. We actually had a small medical issue with our son and the owner was so helpful, wise, and kind. The food was really good but the people there are even better. 5 stars all the way. Thank you. (and our granddaughter loved watching the water wheel at the big window)“

“Love the freaky Friday cake; but the service sucks! If kids don’t want to work then they don’t need to because all they do is make the experience suck! Went in and got waited on by a tall skinny curly hair kid, I didn’t get his name but he was African American, he has an attitude the whole time, no friendliness at all and all I got was a 4 pack and he had no rush to make my order and I was the only one in there. Kids just gotta do better! I was there on tuesday.“

“A friend and I went on Saturday evening and had a great time! I got a flight of red wine and she did white wine. All from Spain or Portugal and very good. We shared some tapas that were delicious! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the wine and food! It’s in a very good location downtown close to the Silos and Dr. Pepper museum. We had no trouble finding parking. We will be back for another girls night!“

“We stopped by Club Sandwich at the Silos, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff was so friendly and welcoming — they even offered us a sample of the chicken, and wow, it was so flavorful it had us hooked at the first bite!

I ordered the chicken bulgogi, and it was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned and served on a bed of shredded cabbage with the freshest, crisp vegetables. And let’s not forget about the sriracha ranch — the perfect kick to tie it all together!“

The salads were fresh and delicious. The portions and the pace at which the food arrived were perfect. The steak was the most decadent juicy flavorful medium rare. The scallop was the most perfect scallop I've ever eaten. The sautéed veggies were crisp and flavorful. But that bread pudding almost made me cry. it's the best I've ever had. From the moment we walked in until the moment we walked out, the experience was truly incredible. The next time we're in Waco, we will definitely be back, but we will have to call ahead and make sure that Jordan is working so we can have the same elite service that we experienced today.“

“Maybe not the absolute best bbq in Texas, but consistently very good and keeps me a loyal customer. Price-wise, bbq has gotten very pricey, with many places charging $12-15 and higher, for a brisket sandwich, so Rudy's remains on the affordable side. If you have a choice, between the big tourist trap gas station and Rudy's, bypass the beaver and keep going for BBQ that actually tastes good.“

“Bru Artisan Coffee Works has a wonderful atmosphere and truly outstanding service. The staff were phenomenal, and we loved the openness and feel of the new location — it’s a welcoming, thoughtfully designed space.

The coffee wasn’t quite to my personal taste this visit, but that’s likely just preference and not a reflection of quality. I really appreciate that they roast their own coffee, and I’d absolutely recommend trying them out. I would definitely give them another visit.“
