“We got served by Glenda E and she was rather rude and not very friendly, not as nice as the other older ladies who serve there. Half way through dinner dhe starts vacuuming near our table like that rather gross when were trying to eat. I got the chicken fried steak I was most of the way through and I bit into a piece of plastic bread tie! Glenda mumbled a half hearted apology and took it off the bill but no management came to speak to me and apologize. Not impressed with the service or meal.“

“Visited when in town for a wedding and Franklin Ave became our go-to stop. Their food is delicious. On our last night they were busy and we could only be seated downstairs. We sat at the bar and had appetizers while we watched three incredible bartenders show their talents with all of the mixers, tinctures,etc. Very highly recommend!“

“This restaurant is a gem!! It is nestled in the Avenues of SLC. The restaurant’s atmosphere is so charming- it’s in an old home that was converted to the restaurant. There are lovely windows in the front that you can look out onto the Avenue. There is outdoor seating when the weather is warm. The service is fantastic! Cascade was our server. She is exceptional!! They are able to accommodate food allergies easily. The food is amazing!! It is so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The presentation is beautiful! We had the Pickled Beet Salad, Fish and Chips and Mountain Hamburger. Again, everything was cooked and presented with perfection!! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.“

“OMG! This place is AMAZING! If you're a first time visitor, they'll ask for your name, and then even remember you the next time you come in. That, along with their truly delicious food, is just 1 of the many reasons I keep coming back. Each day they serve a different daily special. Their meatball sub and sloppy Joe's are my favorites so far. Their chicken cordon blue is FANTABULOUS as well. But, it's more than just the food that keeps me coming back. Mandy, the owner, is exactly how 1 would expect an owner to be. Her friendliness towards every customer is more than just amazing. The space is understated but very well designed, the menu is beautifully curated, service outstanding and the food is always excellent. “My husband and I had dinner there a few nights ago and the food was fabulous. My pork osso buco was so tender and my husband’s chicken provoleta was equally delicious. We also had the spinach and artichoke dip with artisan flat bread and the multi layer chocolate cake and loved both. My education is in design so I pay close attention to my surroundings. The restaurant is beautifully designed and not overdone and from what I saw every table in the restaurant has a view of the city. The flatware was the perfect weight and designed by the well known British designer Robert Welch and lastly the beautiful linens are manufactured in Italy for a beautiful soft finishing touch. All and all it was a wonderful dinner and the staff was perfect, especially our server Sam she was very professional. When we were leaving we saw one of the chefs and told him how much we loved our dinner. He informed us that they have only been open for a week and a half. We were really surprised. I’ve been to other restaurants that have been open for months and can’t get the food and staff in sync no matter how hard they try. It was a great experience and we will definitely be back and will be bringing friends.“

Pulling up I was unsure but don’t let the weird mini strip mall scare you! The food was great! 5 star dive bar! Home made fries, chili and the spicy aioli were all so good!“

“The best restaurant service out there. It’s hard not to be happy when you walk in and are greeted by everyone working there. They are also the most family friendly place I’ve been to. Immediately getting seated they brought our daughter graham crackers and fruit. It’s hard to find places that do those types of things without asking. The food is amazing and it tastes even better with the great service. Thank you!“

“We ordered 10 meals for an early lunch (11 am). I ordered online with a pick-up time of 11. They don't open until 11 am but I was greeted kindly and they were already preparing my meals. They had them to me by 11:10 with a smile and a great attitude. The meals were all amazing. Only a few of the people there had tried the restaurant and every one of them said they would get their meal again. I have found a new favorite restaurant. It was a wonderful experience: the atmosphere felt warm and family-friendly, yet at the same time very cool, with great vibes all around. “Came here for coffee and a light breakfast. I got the toast of the day, beet hummus and ricotta and my friend got the sandwich of the day, ham and cheese. The toast was good but was pretty expensive at $9. The sandwich was a better deal at $12 and was quite tasty but it had really fibrous, inedible pieces of fennel in it which you had to pick out. I also got a couple pastries and a sourdough loaf to-go. The pain au chocolate was $9 but was ridiculously good, so flaky and buttery! Worth it as a special treat. The food was good but didn't seem worth the price, I think the move for table x bread is going for the freshly baked pastries and breads instead of ordering the toasts/sandwiches. Their bread is so good, crispy and crusty on the outside but soft on the inside, highly recommend the sourdough. The drip coffee was also worth it, very flavorful and reasonably priced. If you plan to eat here, be mindful that there are only 3 indoor seats (there are several small tables outside).“

“We had a delightful meal here! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything my table had was very well liked. I recommend the Chipotle Citrus “Steyk Sticks”. The dipping sauce was to die for. We actually used it to dip our fries in as well. The Ike and Tina burger was also a hit. Once you finish your meal at the Steyk Center, you can head to the other side of the building for live music and more fun. “We had not been to Log Haven in years. We are finding a restaurant each month to dine out. A GREAT choice. The food was excellent and well prepared along with the presentation. For as busy it was, we were surprised that the noise level was fine. Our server, Savanna, was excellent! “Overall, it's a great place to eat. I appreciate the good prices. The only reason it's not 5 stars like almost everything else in this Hospital, is because of the service. They have ludicrous hours (closing the grill at 6:45, the peak of dinner time???). My wife and I have also noticed multiple times where the grill workers will move at a snails pace from 6:15 until they close it at 6:45. I don't know if that's intentional, but it's frustrating to be in line for 25 minutes and then they just close the grill station. At no other time of day, no matter how busy, does it take 25 minutes at the grill.“
