“Who would have expected fine dining meals from a small open kitchen (think pizza or sandwich shop style restaurant) with a few tables in a small strip shopping center in Great Falls, Virginia, but Thelo Greek Kuzina’s food was stellar. I could not decide what to get to take home for our family, so got way too much food for four people. Every meal, appetizer, and desert was delicious. we had the lamb shank meal, the New York Sirloin entree, Moussaka, Imam Baildi, lamb gyros, Greek salad, homemade potato chips (best ever), pita and hummus sampler, and more. Deserts were the lemon cake, apricot baklava, sour cherry baklava. Yeah we overdid it on our order, but we enjoyed a smorgasbord of delicious Greek food that made you think it was from a top 10 upscale downtown restaurant. Thank you Thelo Greek Kuzina for an unexpected true culinary experience.“

“My wedding cake came out beautifully!! Everything i ever expected and more! I had 3 different layers with 3 different flavors, i had the chocolate cake with raspberry filling, the Jamaican rum with coconut filling and lastly the mango cake, the flavors were out this world, it was soo good and moist except for a little hiccup with the Jamaican rum but i called the bakery and they solved the problem the proper way. This is by far my favorite bakery and i will continue to come for every event i have.“

“I loved how our waitress Shila was so patient, courteous, and warm in welcoming us and going through food recommendations on the menu with us. My mum ate the chicken pot pie and I ate the ribeye philly cheesesteak together with a salad. The dishes were very yummie and enjoyable. “The service has declined a little over the years, a trend which began even before COVID. But maybe we got spoiled. All GAR locations are still usually better than those in this price point and we go to this restaurant once or twice a month, so that ought to tell you something!“

“This is a long overdue review I've been meaning to post, but my husband and I went to PF Chang's about a week ago and we were blown away. The food was great, but the service was even better. Our waiter, Erick, was amazing. He was so patient and helpful; we will definitely be returning to this location. They don't use meat alternatives and make everything from scratch. Definitely somewhere to go even for those not necessarily vegetarian/vegan.Parking: Shopping center with dedicated parking, whoever during peak times it can be hard to find a spot.“

“I always rely on True Food for its delicious yet healthy food options. We just had lunch there and loved the ambiance - the combination of wood tones and greenery created a relaxing and comfortable feel. The staff member who greeted us was welcoming and friendly, and our server provided attentive and speedy service. Our food arrived within minutes of placing our order.The food was exceptional, especially the edamame dumplings appetizer. They were perfectly seasoned with soy sauce, dashi, white truffle oil, and herbs. The True Blue Grass-Fed Burger was also a great choice. The Peruvian pepper sauce added a pleasant kick to the burger, while the caramelized onions provided a sweet contrast to the blue cheese. The Korean Noodle Bowl was similar to Japchae, made with sweet potato noodles and veggies. However, it had a subtle citrusy flavor with garlic. Our drinks, Kale Aid with Greek yogurt and Bright Eyes, were both healthy and delicious. “hi, I had a few crepes from here (banana strawberry and Nutella) and they were really good . however I would say that the beverages vary.. I ordered a bubble milk tea and it was too sugary for my liking even when I requested for low sugar percent, I was eating literal tiny chunks of sugar. the strawberry banana smoothie was better. I did not dine in but the place is clean and has a nice atmosphere“

“This is probably one of the better places I've been at recently. Got a flight with the 60, 90, 120 min IPA. The 120 min was 17% alcohol and tasted like hard liquor more than beer and couldn't finish it. Of course, the rest of the flight was great.I got the Jambalaya and the cajun egg rolls. Everything was excellent and I would highly recommend them. The whole experience from start to finish was perfect, and our waitress was on point.“

“The food, cleanliness, and customer service have all been top-notch during every visit thus far especially compared to the Gaithersburg location, which is much closer to my house, however I'm willing to drive the extra distance because I know that I'll have a better overall experience. Clearly, the manager @ the Rockville location runs a " tight" ( professional) ship & has taken the necessary steps to ensure their staff are properly trained. I even took a friend who normally goes to the Gaithersburg location, and she even commented on how much better this location is in comparison. Keep up the great work!“

“A nice small cafe for working. Got the french toast for breakfast, and it was fluffy and delicious. Paired well with a mocha latte. They have other breakfast items as well. After a few hours of working, my friend and I bought a tiramisu cake and violet cheesecake. The tiramisu was great, but I personally wouldn't recommend the violet cake. It had a very strong lavender taste, which tasted odd for me. My friend got a almond croissant, and she said it had a good balance of crunch and softness.Parking: There's a parking garage directly behind the cafe, and also an open parking lot further back (a 3 min walk).“

I enjoyed the tuna nicoise crepe, but my friend didn't really like the avocado treat crepe she got, due to the fact that despite being a savory crepe option, it seemed like the crepe itself was still sweetened. My friend didn't expect her savory crepe to have a sweet undertone, and so it didn't match her preference. I have a sweet tooth, so I didn't mind the slight sweetness alongside the sour/salty taste of the tuna in my crepe.I wonder if there's an option to request that no sugar be added to a savory crepe. If you're sensitive to sugar or don't like a mixture of sweet and savory flavors, you might want to ask about that before ordering.“

“Dog friendly and ample outdoor seating. Excellent menu, but a bit pricey, even for NoVA. Front of house is a little scattered but wait staff and kitchen are squared away. I've had enough from their menu to tell you they're extremely consistently delicious.If you save room for dessert and don't like anything on their menu, try abbots frozen custard next door, best ice cream you've ever had.“

“We've been coming here since just after it opened and I am so pleased to be able to say that it seems to be getting stronger. The quality is just as high as the first time we ate here. The parking is cramped but they've managed to open up a few more spaces and they've made great use of the historic building inside. I'll happily eat here as often as I can.I'm editing this review because the staff is no longer inviting. The food is still outstanding, however, the gentleman at the counter is off putting in his manner and it makes it hard to feel welcome. I hope it improves.“

I was looking for last minute custom Toy Story cookies because my original baker cancelled on me, and Cheryl answered my inquiry and worked with me to get our two dozen cookies ordered on short notice. “My son requested a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes for his birthday. He wanted the snickerdoodle flavor with a drizzle of frosting. I thought it was delicious. The cake was moist, not too sweet, and melt in your mouth flavor. We picked the 8 ounce size and it was the perfect amount. We had a lot of leftovers to take home. Service was great. I ordered 48 hours in advance and it was waiting for me, when I arrived. The birthday decorations were lovely. The store is clean and well organized. I loved the way it was decorated. The centerpiece is the bright yellow coffee roasting machine.Once, I had ordered my usual double shot cappuccino, but I didn't hear my name called to pick up the drink at the counter. After 10 minutes, the barista called my name and I went to the counter.The barista noted that the cappuccino had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes and volunteered to make me a new drink. Moreover, she brought the cappuccino to my table.“

“I love all the bakery items and desserts from Spring Mill Bread!! Everything here tastes amazing, very moist and fresh baked Customer Service is amazing too they are always so kind. The service is welcoming, warm and your greeted the minute the door opens. The ambiance has a very homey feel. “We had a girls brunch at this place a few weeks ago. This place gets packed quickly, even on a weekday. But they do have an upstairs section and an outdoors section as well. Parking is tight, but valet is only $5. The service is ok. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Not super friendly, but polite. This place is expensive but a super cute cafe to hang out or Matt up with friends. We ordered the following: - Margarita Pizza: each slice is quite big and thick. We hot 2 slices, and just shared one. - Avocado Toast: this was delicious. It comes with egg, but we got it without egg. - The Rustic Gathering Board: this is $49 and is a massive charcuterie board. We got the vegetarian one, but they have with meat as well. Order this if you have a group to share. The coffee and chai were delicious. Overall, I loved the ambiance and cafe feel of this place. They have several pastries and breads too. Definitely give it a try. Can't wait to go back and try some of the pastries there.“

Today, my colleague brought us a vanilla pound cake with a heavenly icing that made me smack myself after I ate my third slice! “I ordered the cake tasting box, as one does when social media decides to convince you you actually like cake and this is a GREAT idea (I don't actually like cake, ice cream cake girl to the grave).Ordering was pretty simple, although I had a random tip added on originally until I exited and re-entered my cart. Also, if you have allergies it's probably best to personally contact the bakery as none of their cake flavors had allergen warnings. Yes, some flavors it's pretty obvious but to be on the safe side I would definitely recommend contacting them. Continuing on: In the spirit of committing to the hot girl Friday bit, I went a bit overboard so here's what I got (copy/pasting from my receipt):My Passion, Strawberry Shortcake, Candy Bar Crunch, Gotta Lil Capt'n In You, Cookie Monster, Green With Envy, Pumpkin Patch, Apple Orchard, Strawberry LemonadePersonally, their cakes were great. Moist, soft even after a few days, and individually wrapped and labeled so I knew what slice was what. However, their icing/buttercream all tasted the same to me. I was not a fan of their white icing (which was easy to scrape off my precious cake) and the buttercream flavors in between only really differed in coloring to me. The best cake was Cookie Monster, and that one I did enjoy some of the chocolate ganache/filling. I also liked the pumpkin and apple cakes (although not their filling. It didn't come across as cream cheese to me and I'm not committed enough to taste test the wreckage left behind in the cling wrap.) The pieces of apple in the apple cake were soft and sweet. The lemon cake smelled nicely of lemons.The pistachio, Capt'n, and candy crunch bar were my least favorite of my cake hoard because I got them partially because I was looking forward to the filling. If I was to order again I would request no icing or choose cakes without their buttercream. Each slice of cake was a nice slice (3 layers of cake with filling between), so if you too decide to order cake for dinner a cake tasting box will definitely fill you. If you're alright with planning an evening-in with cake 48 hours in advance, their cake tasting box is not a bad way to go. (My cat also tried to steal some bites, so they are kitty approved).“

“I needed to plan an event in Alexandria VA from Raleigh NC recently. I had no experience with any caterers in that area, and had never even been to the venue at which our workshop would be taking place. Contacting Sinplicity Catering was a VERY lucky break for me.Working with Lisa Anthony made everything so easy. She was very communicative and helped me navigate through ever-changing headcounts and dietary restrictions, made suggestions based on our budget, and was an all-around superstar.When we found out at the last minute that delivery drivers needed special clearance to access the space to set up, she was able to get us all the information we needed fast enough to ensure the background checks went through seamlessly.Our delivery folks, Herberth and Andy, were prompt and set everything up quickly and quietly and never disturbed the event going on in the same room. They were really delightful guys.The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, especially given the level of service we had. Everyone loved the food and were spotted taking the fun array of afternoon snacks with them to sub in for the boring airplane snacks they were sure to get on the way home.We ordered the Hearty Breakfast buffet with coffee, tea, and juices; then for lunch the Hickory House Hot Duo buffet with some vegan and vegetarian options; then for the afternoon, a selection of snacks including trail mix snack bags (with cute, custom M&Ms!), sinchex (homemade chex mix), and lots of their Taterdoodles cookies. Top it from multiple options of protein and vegetables. I made the bowl with Korean style glass noodles, spicy pork and many other toppings. The bowl is spicy, and filling. Value for money.“
