“Old Blue catered my daughters wedding. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. Old Blue has the best BBQ food in the greater DC area - so, that would be enough to recommend them - however, if you are planning an event, you will not believe the quality of the service they offer. Everyone was helpful, had great suggestions, they even shared decorations with us. The day of the wedding was also perfect - they were attentive and seemed to anticipate every need. Again, they would be worth it just for the food, but they perfect because of everything else.“

First time at Hal & Als and I ordered the brisket sandwich. the cashier who I assume is the owner was telling me about who he learned to make ribs from down in Atlanta. he was so hospitable too. he asked me to let him know what I thought. I completely forgot. everything was great. halal BBQ is a little different but it blew me away. I'll def revisit when I'm in Arlington again.“

“Really good and different! Had the short-rib pastrami and it was fantastic!! Great taste, perfect texture, and the mustard sauce was the perfect compliment. Their house pickled veggies added a really nice touch. The deviled eggs are not to be missed! Smoky, but not overbearingly so. The wife had the pastrami spiced portobello and was very impressed. Guys in the truck were super nice and very patient. They were out front of Baby Cat brewery in Kensington the day we went by. “We are from Buffalo NY down here on vacation. The host was absolutely amazing we sat at a high top by the bar and he came over and offered to move us to a bigger table so we had more room!! The bartender was our server and he was so attentive and on top of everything. They had a large school party that had about 50 people in it and they did not let that slow them down at all. At the end of that party we ended up speaking with one of the owners and he was so nice! We ended up finding out the host had family from where we are from and that was awesome! The food was amazing, portions were huge! Moral of the story the whole staff was amazing the food came out with perfect timing even with the huge party. “Amazing atmosphere - service needs a little work. I think this place is heavily understaffed so we did have to wait a decent amount of time for food/drinks and our bill. Two other things that would help improve my rating would be to include dietary restrictions on the menu (especially Gluten Free) and to be able to split checks properly. There was six of us and we asked to split our check between the three couples but the waiter straight up shut us down (didn’t even try). With these improvements, this place would definitely deserve a 5 star rating.“

We called The Falls, spoke to Kelly and she was super helpful, communicative and helped with everything from how much food would be appropriate for our size event and how many staff would be recommended. We had our annual Santa party with 190 people and everyone was super impressed with the food quality, the attentive staff and how friendly and courteous they were. They left my house cleaner than before the party and even boxed up some left overs for us to enjoy. They’re a true blessing and made our party one we’ll remember for years! “I went there today for a nice lunch date and I requested to get all the food gluten free. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about what was gluten free on the menu and made sure to bring out the salads and explain which one was which. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the pargiyot skewer but was not personally a fan of the lam kebab flavor. When the waiter came over and asked how everything was, I told him everything was great. He saw I had not eaten the lamb and asked me about it. Im not a complainer so I said it just wasn’t my taste. Well, when we brought us the check, he only charged us for the pargiyot and comped the lamb! I am blown away by my experience at Al Ha’esh. Excellent customer service and food! 👍“

“It’s a way fancier version of Kpot but for the same price. Decorations were chic and modern. Meat and seafood are high quality. Lunch is an amazing deal given that it’s $28/person for AYCE bbq, hot pot, and buffet. Did I mention the buffet had crab legs and crawfish? It was a lot of variety for food. Service was exceptional. Shout out to Andy for being so attentive, great with our kids, and making sure we had a good experience.

Parking: There’s limited parking in front, but a lot of parking in the back. There’s a garage that you can park in for free.

“This is a great Korean BBQ and Hot Pot restaurant; the service was great; the sauces were good; the raw foods were prepared in a very well manner. The cost of the meal vs current prices as a good bargain. We had a Saturday night dinner service and it was a short wait at the bar and we got our table. The staff was friendly. The only downsides were the bar area was right as you walk in and it seemed an afterthought. The place was loud with everything going on so not a romantic setting.“

This time, Kwao Barou also came out and became my favorite malatang restaurant. The owner is so friendly that it's always nice every time I go. Because I can add whatever toppings I want?

“I’ve ordered from them many times and every time the food is amazing. I’ll usually switch between the Caesar salad, a build your own bbq bowl, and the sausage tacos as my main dishes. All of which I love. Their fried pickles are usually pretty good though a little on the softer side and I just had the mozzarella sticks today and it came with a wing sauce that tasted, not just felt, spicy but not overpoweringly so. They were firm enough that I’m not choking on cheese but soft enough that it didn’t feel like I was biting into a cheese stick. They were some of the best mozzarella sticks I’ve had in a while. I will have to actually go in to the restaurant at some point instead of always ordering delivery. 😁“

“Good place to go for KFC (Korean fried chicken) pub night. The wings were crispy and they offered a lot of flavors I haven't seen from other KFC places. We got a huge serving of edamame, and the fried dumplings were crispy and flavorful. I tried the black and white cocktail, which is whiskey and rice wine, and the combination reminded me a lot of mezcal with that tobacco-y flavor profile. I recommend the yuzu highball, which is perfect for a palate cleanser after eating sticky crispy wings. The restaurant itself is clean and modern looking, and I got a chuckle out of the restroom signs. Service was really great and made sure we had everything we needed.“

I initially planned to go to a ramen shop nearby, but the wait was too long, so I randomly tried this place without any expectations. And wow, it was amazing! I was confused the whole time I was eating. The pork belly is on par with some of the best spots in Korea, and the bossam just melts in your mouth.

I've lived in Virginia and tried most Korean BBQ spots here, but I want to give this place the top spot. We ordered galbitang, a portion of pork belly, bossam, and naengmyeon, and we were stuffed—yet the total was only $79! Is this real? It's so affordable and delicious; I can't believe such a place exists. It’s so underrated and unknown. Please promote this place more, owner! The vibe is also trendy and perfect for young people.“

“Absolutely love Qui, it’s my number one kbbq spot but they’ve definitely lost a star after switching out their sauce (the Gochujang type one). If you’re gona switch out a sauce I think it should atleast taste similar or be the same consistency. This one is grainy and doesn’t even taste good. Definitely took away from the experience. It also looks like tomato sauce. Other than that, my experience there is always amazing. Pls switch back the sauce lol“
