“Pitiful Piri is down the street from my job and on this day I was hungry and looking for something new and Piri Piri gave me whaat I was looking for. I walked in and ordered a Burrito Sabanero. I had no idea what this was until it came out, but it was basically a chicken burrito with grilled shrimp on top with a side of red beans and rice. When I tell you I ate every bit of this.. I'm not lying, this chicken was seasoned to perfection and hit the spot. I highly recommend them.“

“The take out is super good. I live in NJ and go to Va. very often. Being near NYC I know Chinese food. This is excellent. Fresh and truely yummy and great value for the price. On top of all that the service is great and super friendly. They smile and are very nice and that alone makes me come back often. Inside is not beautiful to eat in but for take out it is the best in Richmond and I am a picky eater. Five stars for sure. Go and see, it is super.“

“Food was average at best. Out of everything including a cook. Actually closed the kitchen for about 30 minutes because cook was at end of shift and no one there to replace him. They are listed as a Priority Pass discounted restaurant and when asked, they looked at me like I was crazy. No clue.“

“My pop came through town about two weeks ago. He said he wanted to grab lunch. I work nearby, and knew he loves a good burger. I was concerned because my mother (who loves cooking, loves learning new recipes, but has her classics and go-to’s, makes his burgers) would never hear the end of it, if the meal was awesome. Well. “On 08/03/2022, my wife and I brought our cousins here to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The food and service was excellent. Our waiter was Sean. HOWEVER, during the reservation process, I was asked at least twice if there was a celebration and if so what type. I indicated on both occasions that it was a anniversary. I just assumed that when I was asked about the occasion that this occasion would somehow be acknowledged. It wasn't. (Happy anniversary). I heard the waiter at the table next to ours wish the celebrants a happy anniversary. Also, based on other reviews on this site, I noticed that a dessert was given to the celebrants as a memento. Not to our party. As I said, the service and food were excellent but missing the little "happy anniversary" left me and my wife feeling a little empty.“

“This place has a great atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. We were just driving through Richmond and decided to stop here for a bite. My husband had the brisket sandwich which he said was fantastic. I had the trainwrek that was so large and outstanding I couldn’t finish it and have leftovers. The food is fresh and has exquisite flavor! If I’m ever in Richmond again I will be returning.“

-To me it's an intimate venue as you are close to the stage.
-They do have a bar on both levels.
-Parking can be tricky. Suggest arriving early to secure a good parking spot around the area.

“Our organization hosted a small (15ish) networking event in the side private-ish room at Blue Bee and it was PERFECT! Our folks felt so comfortable in the space (we had to kick them out at closing time!). Mackenzie and Taylor (owners) are wonderful to work with and I appreciated their friendly and responsive nature. I definitely recommend using Blue Bee if you have a small (15-25) event where you want people to connect while feeling cozy. Note: Their space accommodates more folks than we had, but we only used the side room for our event rather than the full venue (which is also available). We were having such a great time, we forgot to take photos!“
