“Great flavor and good service! Would definitely recommend taking advantage of all the different toppings, since that’s where the real flavor comes from. (2) The place is very clean, well-maintained, and organized, with good distance between tables. I like their booths better?. (3) They serve authentic and VERY delicious Afghan dishes. “I ordered the 3 tenders and waffle and my son ordered the 4 piece wing and waffle plus mac and cheese, through Door Dash. Despite the chicken and waffle being room temperature upon delivery, the chicken was seasoned well, it was crispy, and juicy AND the waffle was good too! The side of sweet hot sauce was such a treat for the chicken and I enjoyed all of it. The show stopper though was the Mac and Cheese! It was piping hot in its container and it was SO GOOD! Looking forward to eating at the restaurant next time.“

“When I was hosting friends from out-of-state and wanted to impress them with a delicious array of food, I called Rawr. The sushi platters were a hit (fantastic 4 and out rawr) and so was everything else: gyoza, spicy miso Ramen, chicken teriyaki Don, pork katsu curry, and miso soup. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, the yuca was fried to perfection, and the plantains were perfectly sweet! I’ve waited to write this review for a whole year to make sure we didn’t have a fluke experience, or it wasn’t just good because it was a new place.This is easily the best Peruvian chicken place in the DMV. My wife and I have tried probably 15+ places, and this place is the best. 1) it’s always extremely clean. 2) the (assumed) owner is super nice. It’s always the same older gentlemen at the register with a goatee. 3) the food is ALWAYS fresh. We’ve came early, late, in between lunch and dinner hours, it doesn’t matter. Our fries and plantains are always piping hot, and the plantains are always cooked PERFECTLY. The chicken is always moist and tender. The chicken also tastes different and better here - it is marketed as charcoal chicken, and you can taste that. It has that “summer bbq cooked on a charcoal Webber grill” taste, unlike some other places that taste like a gas grill.I personally don’t care for the Peruvian style sauces, but my wife loves them. They offer the 3 selections, a yellow, orange, and green, with no spice to pretty spicy.Highly recommend!“

“This is a franchise with a limited menu. Cannot order any extra sides. Rice is bland and lacks sufficient spices. Take out is put in an aluminum tray with the fresh salad on top. After you get home the salad is soggy and unfit to eat. Minor changes will improve the experience.“

I thought the meat was cooked okay but could have been served a little fresher like the lamb for instance. However this place was really good and I would order from here again!“

This is also a brand new location in Alexandria / Annandale area off of Little River Turnpike and we have to say first impressions WE LOVED THE INSIDE of the restaurant it new, it live, it's interesting and even put some of our favorite DC skyline in there too! This is a new building in the area and it was easy to get to and into the parking lot too! Getting your order in is easy as the have two digital kiosk's to place your order with an easy to navigate digital menu, they accept all forms of payment from Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, CC and debit cards. We were able to navigate the while menu and place our order in about 5-6 minutes since it was our first time we think that was great! Now the food first impressions IT SMELLS AMAZING! Like fresh fried chicken and the spices are WOW top it off with a lot of flavor. My wife and I got the 24 piece with in mild and lemon pepper, funnel fries, fries and fried okra! This was a great combination of flavors and WOW the mild has a lot of zing to it! Nice and spicy and IT CAN GET HOTTER they have a lot of levels of spice to offer from ghost pepper, habanero, hot and even down to just a bell pepper level hot. It is definitely a wide choice of flavors! The funnel fries are WOW just like funnel cake! Delicious and crispy for sure the season fries and fried okra is a great compliment to the chicken and they even give a little bit of sauces to go with the chicken DEFINITELY use the sauce to cover the chicken it is worth it! “Ordered online today to pick up at 11:20am…. Walked to store and ended up waiting 40 minutes while the employees made all the customers that walked in orders first. The wait to pickup line kept growing and growing and since we had all paid for our meals, leaving was not an option. Not once did anyone acknowledge or apologize. It would I gotten order quicker by walking in to order. I think the manager needs to rethink that the call in orders are equally as important as walk-ins“

“The burgers are better than most places however they put tons of mayonnaise or cream sauce on them which they left on even when I asked for sauces on the side. At a later time I asked for no mayonnaise, ketchup mustard on the side, and they put the ketchup/mustard on the burgers themselves. They put too much sauce- and the mustard appeared to be Dijon mustard or another type of mustard which really didn't go well with the burger. The gyro here is decent but it is stuffed with too many veggies or things besides the traditional lettuce, tomato, and onion. The gyro meat is a lot greasier than most gyro places so I am wondering if they fry it or add some oils to it- most places have the rotating cone for gyro meat but they might be making it differently here. The burger patties are fairly thin but you do get a double patty burger.“

From their website (I copied and pasted):"Chick-fil-A® Nuggets, freshly breaded and pressure-cooked, sliced and served on a fresh bed of mixed greens, topped with roasted corn kernels, a blend of shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses, crumbled bacon, sliced hard-boiled egg and grape tomatoes. Prepared fresh daily. Served with Charred Tomato and Crispy Red Bell Peppers. Pairs well with Avocado Lime Ranch dressing."All the ingredients were fresh as we expected. Dinner cost $20 + change.I just noticed that Yelp wants me to talk about the ambience. “Very flavorful food! I order from them at least once or twice a month. Their restaurants are much cleaner than some other Kabob places. Only negative thing about Moby Dick House of Kabob is they don't have chickpeas and spinach like most kabob restaurants do, which is strange because they are all famous side dishes. For that reason, I frequent other kabob restaurants because my kids like those aforementioned side dishes.“

“Five Guys quality as expected. The only issue with this specific location is that the person who took my order did not seem to understand me well. I ordered three cheeseburger and told him how I want to have one of them different. Then I did not check the bill, assuming the tax and everything made it higher than I expected. It turned out I paid for and received four cheeseburgers instead of three. This is absolutely my first time facing this issue after many years but definitely unpleasant. Will likely avoid this shop in the future. The employees attitude was nice though.“
