“Honey Road is a standout on Church Street. Luke and Sarah were incredibly hospitable—we felt genuinely warm and welcomed from the moment we sat down. We were visiting family for the Christmas holiday from NYC, and this was the perfect spot for a cozy, memorable dinner.

The Mediterranean food was excellent, and as someone with allergies, I really appreciated how accommodating and thoughtful the staff was. Reservations are strongly encouraged (for good reason), but we were happily seated at the bar, which had a great vibe.

We ordered the olives, dolma, smashed potatoes, and harissa chicken wings—every dish was flavorful and well-executed. For two people, ordering 2–4 mezze items is the sweet spot.

Honestly, I’d go back just for Luke and Sarah, but paired with the amazing food, the whole experience was delightful. Chic, warm atmosphere, spotless bathrooms, and consistently great energy throughout the space. Highly recommend.“

“My Fiancé and I had our first experience at Hen of the Wood in Burlington, what an incredible time we had! We just got engaged and had to celebrate. I decided to get the pork loin, and it was delicious! My fiancé loved his steak. It was perfection. Our waitress was amazing and so thoughtful. She made sure we had everything we needed and was very helpful. the atmosphere was casual yet somewhat formal and we had a blast! Can't forget about how scrumptious those rolls were too! “Great stop and was ablento sit right next to the pizza ovens after walking the cold winter streets of VT which was pleasant. Typically a decent wait for a table which isnt unusual here as it can get very busy. Seating is tight depending on where you are in their dining room and how many people youre with. With 2 usually you're stuck in some tight spaces which isnt always great when your pizza comes out..there has been multiple times I've been with a friend and people getting up to move or sit down almost knock your pizza on the stand down or touch it. But than other times you again depending on where youre seated there is no issue. Pizza is ALWAYS excellent however and a great place to stop. Definitely a spot Id recommend any time you're DT“

The menu was small but the dishes were amazing. We had the antipasti masti (?) which is a huge charcuterie and could have been a meal unto itself. The pasta was delicious as was the braised short rib.

“The best clam chowder I have ever had. It was so creamy and had just the right amount of flavor. We have been in New England all week and all I wanted was some clam chowder and it was worth the wait. My husband had the fish tacos and enjoyed them too. I was a little disappointed in the fries. They look fresh cut in the pictures but they didn’t taste like they were.“

“We came in for an early dinner and were sat immediately! Seems to be more of a take out place.
Top notch mango lassi. Mango and yogurt combination was top tier.
Chicken Korma was less on the sweetness, different than our local place back home, but I actually prefer the one here. Flavor was wonderful and hit all the rights spots.
Tandoori chicken was a huge portion and we ended up taking home leftovers enough to be another meal!

“Favorite place to eat in Burlington! The vegetarian hot pot is so good, and they have good gluten free vegetarian dim sum choices earlier in the day, and in the summer when it's too hot for hot pot. The owners are very friendly, and it's always packed!“

crying tiger fried rice, the sirloin was marinated to PERFECTION! Best I’ve EVER had.
Duck Penang was an entire duck leg in a creamy delicious curry sauce with pineapples and tomatoes. So mouthwatering thinking about it now..

“We have been coming here since 1986 when it was a tiny spot that let us teenagers sit and drink coffee all day. They are one of Burlington’s oldest and most loved restaurants, known for their early bird Bistro dinner that serves French classics like Beef Bourgignon, Steak Frites and even gluten free Cavatappi Carbonara. Tonight it was snowing hard and the restaurant was still full and the service was terrific. It’s our go-to place for the last 35 years and I’m grateful they are still around.“

Very nice chill atmosphere with solid service and yummy bar food options along with their signature pizza, good drinks and beer options on tap and others. Known for their pizza but I tend to do sandwiches and bar food type appetizers most often 🤙 Ironically the pizza itself is probably my least favorable thing I like about the place. I don't find it to be of all that good quality and the options just aren't that great for the pizza either. I have to say its the staff/service that keeps me coming back.
