“Walked by the night before and didn't have time to pop in after work, but took note of the cool looking new spot in GTown. Checked out the menu and my mind (and belly) wouldn't allow me to go another day without experiencing the enoki fritters, so a late lunch ensued with fritters and street corn today. Ridiculously tasty, will be back with friends and family to try the rest of the menu and I'm sure you'll be serving my coworkers (repeatedly) as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Underrated Teriyaki and Korean food restaurant with easy take out. Best teriyaki on Rainier and perhaps in town. The only fault that it is closed on Sundays. Quite delicious food options. This is the place you want to go for a delicious meal.“

“This place is amazing. We just moved to the neighborhood and got to try it for the first time and I’m already looking forward to going back. We got the Nam Khao and beef skewer plate and both were so delicious. Sticky rice was perfect and the Lao sauce was so good and spicy, like a sambal. The Nam Khao was crispy and I loved the fermented pork! It was my first time trying that dish and I wasn’t disappointed.

Our server was very nice and had a great sense of humor. He whipped us up some delicious cocktails as well!

“Our first visit was yesterday for lunch and we had Chicken Xiao Long Bao, Chicken pan-fried potstickers, Chicken and Vegetable Won-tons in sweet and sour sauce and Spicy (Ma la) noodles.....all were very good! The service was excellent and we enjoyed the whole experience!!“

“BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. You get delicious authentic hot pot plus a side of KBBQ. We chose the all-you-can-eat for about $30 a person.

The meat was fresh and they had incredible quality cuts. All you can eat hot pot, bbq, plus sauce, drinks, and ice cream.

“Best locally owned and family owned Teriyaki in West Seattle by far. Super friendly staff, decent pricing, and fast service. Almost anyone who I've talked to that lives nearby has been here and mentioned how good the food is. The spot is small so I recommend to call ahead for takeout or takeout generally when you arrive.

Have a good wine selection so step outside of the box and try a wine you never had before, the waiter can suggest. The prices are good, but remember the serving are large, you will not leave empty. “This is my absolute favorite spot to pop in for a casual lunch. It’s a calm, very quiet spot. Super nice for getting a plate of sushi and taking a moment to breathe. I personally will just go in there and prop up my phone, and throw on a youtube video or podcast. The vibe is very similar to a japanese cafe, where you can sit on your own, do your own thing, and there is no judgement for wearing headphones or being on a laptop. Also nice to do work in. Overall, this place is 10/10, they’re always super nice, and I will keep recommending this place to people whenever I can. Thanks Grain House!!“

“I’ve lived on Alki since 1989. I’ve seen many restaurants come and go from this location. Lotus on the Beach is the best of them all. The ability to pick from a variety of Vietnamese and Thai dishes is its strength. The owner and staff welcome any and all critiques of the food and service.“

We ordered both the vermicelli and beaf pho. The fresh spring roll appetizer was delicious. “My first time in and really didn’t have many expectations but was blown away by the friendly staff. Ordered papaya salad w/ tofu. Tofu came fried to perfection in my book. Requested some fish sauce, the server asked if I would prefer fish dressing, big smile on my face :). Ordered a (banh-mi) sandwich w/ tofu, tofu was a little soft for my liking but had great flavor and a overly fair amount of ingredients, two thumbs up 👍. I received a side of fish dressing I used some chilly paste in it, the other server asked if I would like to have the chilly oil… ohh man was I happy with that suggestion!! Loved it!! “I got the 5 spice beef, and it was gone in 10 minutes. Which speaks to the quality considering the big portion sizes. My coworkers got the chicken sandwich and el jefe sandwich. We all agree that the food is surprisingly flavorful.

The staff was friendly, thoughtful and considerate as well. I picked up my order while in a rush, because onsite parking is tricky, but even with an oversight to get all my food, the staff was beyond understanding and helpful. Next I'll order catering to try more of their food with the rest of my office.“

“You can pay with cash at the counter, but don’t be surprised when you walk in and see a lot of people standing around. They’ve already placed their order on a kiosk and they’re waiting for their number to be called. There isn’t a lot of flexibility in the menu and I think that’s what makes the flow of service very easy for this company is a very good model of business. There is some dine in seating. Most people just walk out with the container in hand no bag ready to eat everything is pretty much teriyaki based chicken they charge you extra for spicy so I would recommend getting regular and then just adding your own sauce for spice so I don’t have any pictures. I already ate.“

“My son and I love pho, and on day after his dental appointment next door, we wondered over here and discovered this place.
My first impression is that this place has an inviting, home-like feeling. They bake some pastries/donuts fresh themselves.
The pho was a hit for my son, and we thanked the lady who said it was her very own (or family?) recipe? That was our first visit, so I can't quite remember exactly 😅
I tried their breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. Just the right amount, too.
I'm all about customer service and genuine people. And I can tell these guys have a passion for what they do.
