“Hands down, the best pho you’ll find in Seattle! This place is killing it! I’m incredibly lucky to live in the neighborhood and I’ve been coming here since the day they opened. We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! If I were qualified to give food awards, this place would win my 2024 Best of Seattle award! 🥇👏🏻✨ Ps. They do not accept reservations - it’s first come first serve. Around 6pm, they go on a waitlist and a line starts to form outside. Don’t bother calling to get on the waitlist - they won’t even do that for me! You have to show up in person to get on the list.“

“10/9/2021 Recommend? Yes. I arrived right after they open with my luggage because I was starving from my long train ride in from Whitefish, MT. The server was super nice. He got me hot tea and banh cam to settle in with. I ordered bo bia (autumn rolls), vegan pho, and roasted pork banh mi (to go). The banh cam had a thick dough and it was huge. Two of those could've been a whole meal. Everything I ordered was delicious and they were so kind! My favorite was definitely the banh mi. It was even good after I had refridgerated it. The best part was the vegan butter and vegan pate. I absolutely loved it, best vegan banh mi I've had.“

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

“This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
We ordered the fresh summer rolls, fried spring rolls, special combination pho, fresh lemonade, and coconut water. Every single item was outstanding, but the pho was the star. The broth was rich, flavorful, and tasted like it had been simmering for hours. Everything was incredibly fresh.
As a first-generation Vietnamese American, this meal brought back so many memories. The fried spring rolls instantly reminded me of eating my grandma’s homemade spring rolls growing up in Hawaii. The pho and fresh lemonade, on the other hand, transported me back to Vietnam. For a moment, I felt like I was a kid again sitting at a table with family.
Pho Ba is definitely a hole-in-the-wall, and the surrounding area isn’t the prettiest, but don’t let that fool you. Sometimes the most authentic food comes from places exactly like this.
If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food in Seattle, this is it. I’ll be thinking about this meal for a long time. It’s one of the best Vietnamese meals I’ve ever had.“

“We had the shrimp salad rolls, brisket pho, and chicken fried rice. The shrimp rolls were very fresh and refreshing, packed with crisp lettuce and served with a rich peanut sauce that paired well with them.
The highlight was definitely the brisket pho. It was one of the best pho I’ve had so far. The broth was exceptionally well balanced, with great depth of flavor and just the right richness. The portion was huge, and they were very generous with the brisket, which is something you don’t always see. One bowl was enough to leave me completely full.
The chicken fried rice was also well executed. Nothing particularly unique, but the flavors were balanced and everything was cooked properly.
Service was very fast, and our food arrived quickly. The restaurant was quite busy when we visited and we got the last available table, though it was a weekend. Overall, a very satisfying meal and a place I’d gladly return to.“

“We have come here for many years. It been awhile since we came back. We like their new menu looks like it been recently updated. We ordered our usual of: -Vietnamese Sweet & Sour Catfish Soup -Catfish in Clay Pot/Stew -Rice Today we also tried: -Crispy Oysters -Salted Fish Fried Rice -Three Color Dessert -Thai Dessert It wasn't too busy today, we got a table right away for a family of our. The servers were nice and friendly. Our desserts were bought out first, and soon after the main dishes. Our usual dishes is the tasty as usual. Our favorite as a family is the fried oysters. Our young kids liked it best with the sweet sauce (not spicy). The sizing of the oysters are large and it tasted excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful dining night with the whole family. We will be back as usual! We highly recommend this place! They got some of the dishes we love that keeps us coming back for more!“

“I don't claim to be a banh mi connoisseur, but this was the best banh mi I have ever had. Totally not expected from a little stall in a grocery food court.
I've also had their shrimp fresh rolls and fried fish balls before as well which were also tasty. I'll have to try the pho next.“

“every time my partner & i go on a vacation, she is in the search for the best matcha (for context, she works at a tea shop. so it’s not fully coming from a pretentious place). this place hits the S tier.
amazing matcha. phenomenal Vietnamese coffee. we will definitely be back next time we’re in town.
(also we got the black sesame matcha & black sesame coffee & they were both killer)“

“Wow. Hands-down one of the best meals I’ve had in Seattle.
Ramie is a perfect balance of sophistication, beauty, balance, and flavor. Every dish honors the Vietnamese cuisine in ways that are comforting and familiar, yet also elevated and unique. It’s truly an art!
Some fan favorites from their menu tonight includes:
- Scallop with salted egg yolk sauce
- Betel leaf beef
- Manila clams with milk toast
Pro Tip: you MUST get dessert. Chef Trinh is one of the best pastry chefs in town, and you don’t want to miss any of her creations.“

“A very interesting blend of flavors. Ive tried about 1/4th of the menu now, and theres a lot of things ive had here ive never seen or tasted anywhere else.
I honestly couldnt define the genre here, other than to say its a fusion of American and Asian items, in the most delicious of ways.“

“I absolutely love this place! Total hole-in-the-wall (as the best places are) and incredible food. Family-owned! They have online ordering for pickup or delivery, AND btw if you’re vegetarian, they have a vegetarian broth for their pho so 💯 just saying. Pictured here are the 5-spice chicken banh mi, cole slaw salad, and some home-brewed Thai iced tea 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 Also, I normally get grandma le’s egg rolls and oh my god 🤤 highly recommended!“

“The broth, oh the amazing broth! When we relocated from Austin to Seattle, we were bummed to leave our favorite pho spot behind, but alas, we got pretty close at Pho 4U. The *only* thing that would make this spot a weekly visit for me is if they offered egg noodles as a substitute, but again, the broth is *everything*“

“DELICIOUS. Had the grilled chicken banh mi (delicious) and tried the strawberry matcha cream soda!! Was surprisingly light and refreshing; it was so good i loved it :) (They have a few other specialty drinks too if you want to try something unique !)
No cash, just a windowed storefront but has benches nearby and a water station outside while you wait. If you've never had phin coffee before be aware it is very strong! XD“

“Best pho and Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! Super fun place with amazing food. Stopped in and was seated immediately. Every item we tried was outstanding. It’s rare to find a gem that has great service, food, and atmosphere and these people have it figured out. Also, met the owner and she talked to us about how these are her recipes. It just tastes like home cooking and not actual plug and play restaurant food. We’re lifers at this place now! I mean it’s so good we went back the next day.“

“Oh, some excellent pho at this spot. Got a medium number 13 with the tripe and brisket and I mac’d on it greedily. Nothing like good pho! Sauce is a lighter/sweeter style, not as herbaceous as pho can be.
Service was fast and the guy was nice and a good server. Always happy to find a place I like! Atmosphere is aight. Nothing wrong, but a room of smudged mirrors with pop songs from 2007 blaring can be a little funny, but i liked it overall. 👍❤“

“5 star for the grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich. The meat was tender & perfectly marinated. They used Vietnamese bo (aoli) instead of mayonnaise. Veggies were fresh & bread was toasted.
I will come here for my Vietnamese sandwiches if I don’t have time to wait at Q bakery.“

“I’ve been here quite a few times lately, and I keep ordering the same thing ..the fresh rolls with grilled chicken. I swap the peanut sauce for fish sauce, and that combo is so good! The grilled chicken with the fish sauce just works perfectly together. Maybe it’s just my preference, but I honestly love it. 😆
So far, it hasn’t disappointed me once. It’s definitely my go-to fresh rolls in the area. I really need to branch out and try more of the menu because everything else looks incredible too!
Just wanted to take a moment to leave a review and say thank you. The food has been consistently delicious, and I appreciate the care that goes into it. Wishing you all continued success. I can’t wait to come back again!“

“I loved this small place on Beacon Hill. I was visiting from Detroit and saw it as I walked from the train to where I was staying. I went in an hour before they opened without realizing it, and the friendly owner invited me to come back at lunchtime. I'm glad I did. The owner greeted me again warmly. I had veggie pho with tofu and a Vietnamese coffee, both absolutely delicious. The servers were friendly as well. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Not much atmosphere, but very friendly, satisfying food, and reasonable price. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely go back.“
