“My husband and I thought we would try this new restaurant. Oh my goodness! The Poke Bowl was fantastic!!! I eat sushi quite often and this is by FAR the best poke bowl I’ve ever encountered. The chefs at this restaurant are pros and really know how to serve up delicious meals! I had to go thank the chef personally for making my day with his fabulous poke bowl. The sauces were excellent (not too thick or sugary) and all the ingredients in the meal were high quality. If you like sushi, I highly recommend this new restaurant in Blaine, especially the Poke Bowl. ! We will be back for sure!“

“Wonderful, home made tasting teriyaki with the most perfectly cooked chicken I have ever had. Its a small restaurant, with only a few tables but that doesnt really matter. Eat in, or head over to Lincoln park just across the street and eat. Very friendly owners, overall a great place in blaine“

“Just had lunch today and while the food was pretty good, I can’t say much for our server. It would appear that she has decided that everyone she waits on must pay her a tip. We had left the restaurant and walking to our car when she followed us outside and questioned about her service. What she was inquiring about was her tip that she felt she was entitled to! After informing her the tip was on the table she immediately turned around and left without offering a thank you. What the hell?“

“Great food and great portion. Its big and proper. Service is so nice they go above and beyond for customers. One of Langley’s best restaurant. And the price is very fair $15+ is the average katsu set and thats with rice, soup, and salad u wont see that price often these days. I really love this place.“

Especially, mackerel hako sushi was the best of all mackerel that I ate in Canada. Not only the fish, sushi rice was so good! Thanks to these great foods, we could spend the great anniversary! “Small place with some booths and open seating, friendly welcoming staff. Came in for lunch, wasn’t too busy and we sat right down and ordered some tea. We decided on our lunch, miso and some rolls. The miso was hot, delicious umami goodness in a bowl. The rolls came shortly after and didn’t disappoint. So fresh, so tasty and satisfying. Our attentive waitress brought more tea and checked in us during our meal. Spot on service.

“Came in on a Sunday morning right when they opened at 1130 as a party of 8. This wasn't all the food we ordered, but at least 50% of it and I must say, the sushi was really good and tasted fresh, the tempura had a nice batter to it and the chicken yakisoba had a good balance of veggies and noodles.
The staff were very nice and the food came out within a decent amount of time.
The price for the lunch bentos ranged $21-30, and the choose your own items was $21 (3 items) - $24 (4 items) and the sushi combos were about $18-21, but the amount of food you get was A LOT! So I'd say for the amount and quality, it's worth the price tag.

“Rolled in at dinner time on a Saturday and had no problem getting seated right away. The food was expected to be good, based on report for one member of the party. I was not disappointed. We all had rolls of different sorts. My French Kiss roll was as good as I've had anywhere.

The only knock on the atmosphere in the place is the extremely loud heating/ventilation air noise. Makes it difficult to have a conversation without speaking abnormally loudly.

Lots of free parking close by. Prices seemed a bit high, but I've been saying that a lot lately, so maybe just my perception for the time.

Fast friendly service for a family of 6. I ordered the single size spicy chirashi salad bowl, it was huge! Full of fresh sashimi. Family all enjoyed their meals as well: Reno and sockeye rolls, two ebi sunomono salads (at least 8 pieces of shrimp), karaage, California rolls for the kids, miso soup, chicken roll and fighting shrimp roll.

The sushi was really flavorful and the rice was perfectly cooked. It was a nice sampler dish and its the perfert portion for lunch. I also ordered the ebi sunomono which was very refreshing, a bit too much vinegar taste for me since I like drinking the mixture the salad comes in. “I usually like this Japanese restaurant, I have introduced this to my friends, students, family and friends. I tried their sashimi salad and boy am I disappointed. I ask the server if it’s a Japanese recipe or Korean recipe, it tasted and smelled like kimchi. I like kimchi but I’m in a Japanese restaurant so I am expecting a Japanese cuisine. The sashimi salad doesn’t taste good at all it even has a bitter taste on it. When I mentioned it to the server she didn’t say anything, I felt ignored. In spite of that I will still eat there ( but will never try again their sashimi salad, not recommended needs to change their dressing) because I love their chicken teriyaki and their deluxe tempura. I also find them not that expensive.“
