“I ordered bun tom thit nuong for dinner tonight, and it was so fresh, beautiful, and delicious! The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the homemade fish sauce was delicious, and the veggies were plentiful. Perfect proportions of veggie to noodle/meat. Highly recommend! I would definitely come here again to try something different or have the same dish again.“

“The food is good and you can have a bowl of free soup with your meal. You can choose between miso or chicken egg drop soup, both were good, but I personally recommend the chicken egg drop. The portions are on the larger side and the noodles are nicely sauced up. We had pad tai and shrimp yakisoba between the three of us(2 adults + baby), but still had leftovers. Though we did order a side of gyoza as well. The staff were friendly and on top of tasks. If I'm ever in the area I'll make sure to visit again.
Please keep in mind, this restaurant is a combination of a few cuisines and a little Americanized overall. So while nothing you order will be like eating on that one trip you took to Thailand or the Philippines, it still worth a visit if you're hungry and American.“

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

“If you have picky eater kids with you and you're looking for something delicious, healthy, yet lower calories then get the PLATTER tray of Banh Hoi. It's Vietnamese lettuce wraps with all of the houses major highlight proteins. Delicious!! And filling and a fair price for a large platter of food.
My kids ate all the noodle weaves and said it was delicious. The noodles are plain, steamed or boiled but they're completely mess free to eat and run around the restaurant with so it was the perfect toddler finger food.
I ate the lettuce, veggies, basil and grilled meats. Lunch for them, lower calorie meal for me. Under $30. Also the kids pho is good too! Like chicken noodle soup. My picky eaters loved it.
Service was very meh. They didn't come to check on us or give us water. You go upfront to pay, they don't deliver the check.“

“The black sesame foam for the Gloomy Matcha has me in a chokehold…. I tried recreating it at home, but it comes nowhere near as close to what you can get here. I came right at opening time before my flight took off because I just had to get another Gloomy Matcha 😂 it’s THAT good. Wish we had an Aroom on the east coast 😭
Right down the street is a bakery, which is so nice! Come to Aroom for your morning coffee/matcha, then head to Sea Wolf for some bread.“

“We ended up here at 5:20pm Sunday afternoon after we were at another place where the fire alarms went off before we ordered. This place was small but had 75% of their tables occupied. We were seated right away. The waitress was very prompt and friendly. The food was a little more expensive compared to the restaurant we left. $8.50 for two summer rolls cut into four pieces, $7.50 for two small eggrolls. But...the food was so good!! And it came out quickly. We ordered two noodle soups, one with the spicy broth, chicken curry with rice, two orders of rice dishes with beef short ribs, chicken wings, summer rolls and eggrolls. I can attest to my soup only, and it was perfect. My kids finished every last bit of their rice and short ribs. My 10 year old ate a good portion of the chicken curry but it might have been on the spicy side for him, and he's an adventurous eater. Hubby loved his spicy broth soup. Portions were good.“

She really cares about the community, too! Thankful to have some good veggie options for a good price and always super tasty!“

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.“

“Excellent. I got the combo vermicelli bowl, and it was full of fresh and pickled veggies and greens, the noodles were done just right, and the amount of meat was very generous. I'm happy, will be back!
I got takeout and I really liked their compostable cardboard round box, it kept the food well and looked like it was the least bad option for the environment. I was impressed!“

“This was a hard spot to rate… The food was palatable, but the service really ruined it. Not to mention, it was over 80° out (late June) & no AC & flies swarming our faces. They did not check on us once, to see if we wanted a refreshment refill (which we wanted). Tried getting several people’s attention, by raising our hands, but they would divert their eyes & go back in the kitchen. They were very unfriendly, the whole time we were there. The food is GREAT, maybe just get some take out & have a better experience!?“

“the bun bo hue is very good. The portion and different cuts of the meat also as the noodles and veggies are generous and tasty. The broth is spicy but sweet with the flavor of the lemongrass made you feel so eager to eat it all of the whole bowl. 👍🤗“

“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

“Fast-casual, counter service place. There was a line, but they moved us through quickly. Really good, especially for the price! I did half vermicelli, half salad, with grilled tofu and an assortment of veggies and sauces. Much healthier alternative to most places in this price range.“

“This place has the best pho in Seattle!! Hands down. I have tried many other places closer to me, but I keep coming back to An Nam. The broth is to die for!
Friendly staff, peaceful atmosphere with big tables. I am never hurried out. There is never a rush to get out. Their iced coffee is delicious.
Totally a great experience!“

“A Hidden Gem for Authentic Vietnamese Flavor. This is a no nonsense, counter service deli. The space is small with limited seating. The decor is minimal, but the focus here is on the food. The beef noodle soup was equally impressive, aromatic broth simmered for hours, silky rice noodles, and thinly sliced beef that melted in my mouth.“

“My husband and I have been living in this neighborhood for over a year and we couldn't believe it's taken us this long to discover BOL! After returning from a long trip, we ordered delivery and the driver went beyond the call of duty and dropped off our hot food directly in front of our third-floor apartment door. It arrived before we even got home and we were beyond amazed at the quality of vegetables and MSG-free broth!!!! I've been suffering bad reactions to MSG at many other restaurants nearby so finding BOL is such a game-changer for us and a new favorite staple.“

“It’s in the university district, so they cater to a lot of veg/vegans. A wide variety of options here: curry, fried rice, pho, stir fry, bahn mi, pad thai, etc with vegan beef/chicken or tofu. Portion sizes are more Asian than American. There’s a boba shop inside too that has non-dairy milks.“

“Good quality, good price, good food at a food court! Real dishes are used if you eat in so you have to clear your own dishes after eating. From Oshima we had chirashi bowl, udon with sashimi/spicy tuna roll, baked scallop roll, rainbow roll - better than restaurant quality; from bbq, we tried the garlic chicken rice bowl - pretty good; from Malri Hyang, we had the sweet and sour pork with saucy noodles and the shrimp fried noodles - tasty; from Thai Dragon, we tried the Thai drink - one with condensed milk - taste like grass jelly and one without - taste like dried prune. We will be back!“

“Pho Trans is under new ownership, and I couldn't be more impressed! The pho here is absolutely fantastic. The broth is rich and flavorful, with just the right balance of spices. You can tell they put a lot of care into it. The herbs are also fresh and crisp.
The service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to make sure you have everything you need.
Oh, and the Vietnamese coffee? It's fresh brewed and so smooth, definitely a must-try if you're a fan of Ca Phe Sua Da.
The new owners are super sweet and you can tell they're passionate about what they do. Pho Trans has become my go-to spot for pho, and I highly recommend checking it out. If you've previously been here under the old ownership, I implore you to check the spot out again--it's so much better.“
