“Hands down, the best pho you’ll find in Seattle! This place is killing it! I’m incredibly lucky to live in the neighborhood and I’ve been coming here since the day they opened. We were one of their first guests in those early days and eat here so much the owners know me by name! If I were qualified to give food awards, this place would win my 2024 Best of Seattle award! 🥇👏🏻✨ Ps. They do not accept reservations - it’s first come first serve. Around 6pm, they go on a waitlist and a line starts to form outside. Don’t bother calling to get on the waitlist - they won’t even do that for me! You have to show up in person to get on the list.“

“Do yourself a favor — EAT AT LOTUS POND. (1) Carpool to Lotus Pond. The more the merrier. (2) Appetizers: You can’t lose. Everything is good. Me? I eat the Imperial Rolls. Get two orders of the egg rolls aka Imperial Rolls — one order won’t be enough for 2 people. Start there, you’ll be very happy. Also order the pork belly on the skewers please, No regrets. It’s very good. (3) Noodle Soups. Every bowl Is a winner. Pho is great, no question there. However, you absolutely must eat the SEAFOOD with special Red Noodle. (4) Early enough during the day, drink the Viet Ice Coffee. (5) Too bad they don’t have enough staff/hands to make the BANH CUON but they make up for it in many ways. Try everything on the menu. I’m not a relative. I don’t get money or fame for recommending Lotus Pond. I just know authentic good food when I see and eat it. Try it. You will leave with a full, joyous stomach … you will be very satisfied. Happy eating!“

“If you have picky eater kids with you and you're looking for something delicious, healthy, yet lower calories then get the PLATTER tray of Banh Hoi. It's Vietnamese lettuce wraps with all of the houses major highlight proteins. Delicious!! And filling and a fair price for a large platter of food.
My kids ate all the noodle weaves and said it was delicious. The noodles are plain, steamed or boiled but they're completely mess free to eat and run around the restaurant with so it was the perfect toddler finger food.
I ate the lettuce, veggies, basil and grilled meats. Lunch for them, lower calorie meal for me. Under $30. Also the kids pho is good too! Like chicken noodle soup. My picky eaters loved it.
Service was very meh. They didn't come to check on us or give us water. You go upfront to pay, they don't deliver the check.“

“This was my first pho experience that I absolutely loved. Never been a fan of the noodles in lots of soup. But as a sick child I needed the hot soup. The spicy beef broth and the Crispy vegan roll were both out of this world. And I am quite the picky eater. I tried it with Chicken this time given I was not feeling well. I gotsto come back for the steak and the brisket.“

“Best Pho in Cap Hill! You can taste the love in the broth. Have been going to this place for years since it was a cross the street. So excited that they re-opened in this new space. The atmosphere is great and always wonderful service run by the family.
You must try the pork fresh rolls, they are incredible! Relativity inexpensive prices for Seattle. Can't speak highly enough about this place!“

“Pho is excellent, comparable to the Than Brothers.
We’ve been going here for over 10 years, and it is easily our favorite Pho place in the Seattle area. Everything is delicious! The spicy chicken wings, the spring rolls, the pho. Everything we have ever tried has been amazing.“

“I absolutely love this place! Total hole-in-the-wall (as the best places are) and incredible food. Family-owned! They have online ordering for pickup or delivery, AND btw if you’re vegetarian, they have a vegetarian broth for their pho so 💯 just saying. Pictured here are the 5-spice chicken banh mi, cole slaw salad, and some home-brewed Thai iced tea 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 Also, I normally get grandma le’s egg rolls and oh my god 🤤 highly recommended!“

“The black sesame foam for the Gloomy Matcha has me in a chokehold…. I tried recreating it at home, but it comes nowhere near as close to what you can get here. I came right at opening time before my flight took off because I just had to get another Gloomy Matcha 😂 it’s THAT good. Wish we had an Aroom on the east coast 😭
Right down the street is a bakery, which is so nice! Come to Aroom for your morning coffee/matcha, then head to Sea Wolf for some bread.“

“the bun bo hue is very good. The portion and different cuts of the meat also as the noodles and veggies are generous and tasty. The broth is spicy but sweet with the flavor of the lemongrass made you feel so eager to eat it all of the whole bowl. 👍🤗“

“Hidden Gem with the Best Phở in Seattle**
Phở Vietnam is the definition of a hole-in-the-wall treasure. Tucked away in Ballard, this unassuming little spot delivers *some of the most soul-warming phở you’ll find anywhere in Seattle*. The broth is rich, clear, and deeply flavorful—the kind that’s clearly been simmering for hours, maybe days. It’s comfort in a bowl.
The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is always quick and kind. It’s the kind of place where locals become regulars, and one visit is all it takes to understand why.
No frills, no gimmicks—just pure, perfect phở that hits the spot every single time. If you're a fan of Vietnamese cuisine (or just really, really good soup), this place is not to be missed.

“We regularly visit this spot for a pho lunch or dinner :) The owner is always very friendly and kind. The pho is very tasty. If you’re in the mood for extra veggies, try the “vegetarian pho” (which includes broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) & add meat for a couple bucks extra! Great value, taste, service & hospitality.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — Ramie is Vietnamese cuisine, reimagined.
Not your typical pho, bánh mì, or vermicelli stop — this is heritage transformed into art. Chefs Trinh & Thai Nguyen spin tradition into something new: small plates with big personality, seasonal ingredients, and artistic plating that feels like storytelling on a plate.
✨ Atmosphere & Vibe
Modern yet intimate. Capitol Hill energy with warmth: chic décor, cozy lighting, curated cocktails, and plating that feels like fine art. Small enough to feel personal, upscale enough to feel special.
🍴 Food & Menu
Not a huge menu, but curated for different palates.
🌿 Vegetarian options are clearly available.
Bold flavors, innovative twists — this is Vietnamese food through a creative, elevated lens.
Happy Hour (5–8 PM) = oysters, bánh tiêu hollow bread, pickles, seasonal bites.
👨👩👧 Kid-Friendly? Best for adventurous eaters and teens. Small plates and creative plating may not hit with very young kids, but the vibe is welcoming.
♿ Wheelchair Accessibility Accessible entrance + seating, attentive staff.
🚗 Parking Capitol Hill = limited street parking. Paid lots or rideshare recommended.
✨ Insider Tip
Book a reservation. The menu is evolving, so try a new plate each visit — and don’t miss the cocktails, which are as refined as the food.
Ramie isn’t just dining — it’s Vietnamese culture redefined for Seattle’s future. A must-visit for anyone who wants to taste heritage with a modern edge.

“Oh my god! Where has this place been all this time?! Amazing food, huge portions, and great prices. On top of that, they don’t ask for tips, which I really appreciate. It instantly became one of my favorite spots in Seattle. I ordered twice in the same day! Thanks so much for the hard work.“

“When you think of a solid, straightforward bowl of pho, this place has it. No tamarind-kumquat margaritas or lychi gin & tonics here. Just consistent, generous, fresh, fast, and affordable food. I’ve tried their spring rolls and banh mi, too - all solid. I was surprised today when the server brought out a free egg roll. I thought they had made a mistake, but the server told me that his mom (the owner) has insisted on keeping prices low despite inflation and tariffs and ADDED a complementary egg roll to every order. ❤️(She’s doing this in contrast to the sister location which has increased prices.)“

“Just had the BBQ pork belly . Everything fresh and quality of the sandwich is outstanding, served with smiles. Lovely spot for delicious Banh mi (baguette with choice of meat and toppings) for a meal. Plus they have delicious Butterfly sunset tea,Black milk tea, Thai tea and fresh smoothies … All my favorite“

“This was a hard spot to rate… The food was palatable, but the service really ruined it. Not to mention, it was over 80° out (late June) & no AC & flies swarming our faces. They did not check on us once, to see if we wanted a refreshment refill (which we wanted). Tried getting several people’s attention, by raising our hands, but they would divert their eyes & go back in the kitchen. They were very unfriendly, the whole time we were there. The food is GREAT, maybe just get some take out & have a better experience!?“

“Excellent. I got the combo vermicelli bowl, and it was full of fresh and pickled veggies and greens, the noodles were done just right, and the amount of meat was very generous. I'm happy, will be back!
I got takeout and I really liked their compostable cardboard round box, it kept the food well and looked like it was the least bad option for the environment. I was impressed!“

“Authentic Pho, and one of the best Banh Mi sandwiches in the city, rivaling Yeh Yeh's for first place. You can see immediately that the family operating this restaurant deeply care about the quality of their cuisine, maintaining tradition, and welcoming their neighborhood to share it.
I have nothing but praise!
Located in a relatively quiet plaza behind Washington Burrito; absolutely worth regular visits.“

“We have lived in several places and have tried lots of places here and elsewhere that sold banh mi sandwiches but these are the best banh mi sandwiches we have had! We think they might make their own buns because they are so very tasty and just as good as the fresh baguettes we had when we lived in France! The sandwich ingredients are fresh and flavorful and we especially love the wonderful paté they include on them, unless you tell them you are vegetarian or vegan. They make the paté themselves and it is also as delicious as any we used to have in France! We like their rice bowls too. If you haven’t been to the “Toast Mi”…located in Lacey…we highly recommend seeking it out and giving it a try. If you like banh mi sandwiches, you will be happy that you did!“

“Great pho and fresh spring rolls! I ordered takeout and I appreciate that the broth was kept separate from the other ingredients and that the thin-sliced beef was still raw so it could be properly cooked in the broth itself. The broth has lots of flavor!“

“If you're looking for a delightful Vietnamese dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit. The flavors here are incredibly authentic and satisfying. • Macaroni with Beef: The macaroni with beef is a standout dish. The beef is tender and well-seasoned, complementing the perfectly cooked macaroni. Every bite is a burst of flavor that leaves you craving more. • Fried Rice: Their fried rice offerings are exceptional, with the salty fish fried rice being a particular highlight. The rice is cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning and a generous portion of salty fish that adds a unique and delicious twist. Overall, the restaurant provides a wonderful blend of traditional Vietnamese flavors that are sure to please your palate. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Vietnamese cuisine or is looking to try something new and delicious!“

“Pho w/ beef.
The broth leaned more on the savory side with a nice touch of oil leftover. The prices were the cheapest I’ve seen compared to any other pho place but it only came with brisket slices. I did miss the tendons and tripe parts. Asked for extra thai basil and apparently I took the last one. The noodles were so clean I didn’t see any starch come from them when I broke it apart which is a great sign. Got the large size- large pho typically gouges me if I eat it all but I cleaned my bowl and didn’t feel gouges. It was the right amount but a tad smaller than expected but enough to satisfy after a 6 mi run
I think I’ll be back to try their banh mi since the plate that they serve it on is a vibe and possibly the banh canh since it’s irregular“

“recent reviews are saying the old owners sold the place to someone new and the new broth is salty. if that is true then this review goes out to the old owners only. i used to come here 1-2 times a week to eat after class since it was the closest pho place to the bus station (2 years ago). ive never had a quality issue with their pho - it is ALWAYS the same flavor and super consistent (though the portions are small). i would come during fall and winter, close to closing time, and it’s always quiet, i was almost always the only person there. super cozy but the owners dont talk very much (there was a old man receptionist, his friend who’s always watching something on his phone, and an old lady). nonetheless i enjoy the pho a lot especially the chicken pho - super warm and comforting by the golden broth. thank you so much for the pho 🙂.“

“I don't recommend eating here. A coworker and myself tried the bahn mi and spring rolls one day and they were some of the worst I have eaten; ended up just tossing half my order. My wife tried the pho a day earlier and said it was not that good either. I do have an acquaintance that works close by and eats here often. he agress the bahn mi, spring rolls and pho are not good, but says the rice and noodles dishes are ok.“
