“How about this for a review - OH What good luck, I just ate the most magnificent duck. At Sparrows I darn near made a glutton and fool of myself. Roasted duck with a cherry port wine sauce. My, my, my a beautiful cherry surprise. A leg, thigh and breast accompanied with an Argintine red wine. Lord all mighty is in the most rewarding places. Sparrows is all up in my palate doing naughty things that taste so so so good. Enough said - get there. DLNewt“

“We attended the Browne Family Wine dinner at Hearth The courses prepared by the Chef to compliment the wines were delicious. We particularly enjoyed the Frisee and Fennel salad and the Short Rib Bolognese with Papparadelle. A very enjoyable evening.“

“Their food is some of the best in Seattle. If you haven’t been there, you need to go and experience 84 Yesler. On par with the finest dining around.“

“This place is amazing. The ambiance is dark and sexy, the staff is beyond welcoming, and the execution of the dishes is consistently on point. The menu is fun and hits from eclectic to classic. My wife and I have been here twice, and both times they slipped us a thank you dish. Normally we like to try different places, but 2120 is a place we’ll go back to again and again. Cocktails are inventive and complex. I have one gripe, I’d love to see this place expand to an international wine list, cause if they do this well at what they already do, their international wine choices would prob be exceptional. Owen Kotler Selections would be a great fit here. Shout out to Jason the Gm and our server was Will (I believe, sorry homie, strong cocktails blur my memory). The desserts man. It’s like everyone here really loves what they’re doing, and intense scrutiny goes into each dish the comes out of that kitchen. Top restaurant in Seattle for sure. More affordable than most too. Much love guys, well done!“

“Very cozy, delicious food, friendly & very knowledgeable staff. There were three of us, and we ordered pretty much the whole menu to share, except for a few things we weren't interested in. Plus, none of us eat lamb, so we passed on that. The least of our favorite was chicken liver parfait. The berry flavor was a little too overwhelming that we could barely taste the liver. Beef coulotte were a little chewy, but flavorful. Pink scallop, Kanpachi, Sturgeon and spiced maitake were our favorite. Overall, everything was delicious and beautifully presented.“

“Nell’s is by far a gem of the Northwest. Their food and service have always been amazing and we just found their quarantine take out is no different. It’s one of those all time favorites where you have fun just reading the menu and then are giddy waiting for your meal. A must try venue that we are grateful to have in Greenlake!“

“Disappointed in dinner yesterday. Took my mom out to eat, had the lamb kofta and chicken. Both were not good. The kofta was cool in the middle and the chicken was tough & dry. The lettuce was brown, black, and wilted throughout. I think they were rushing to switch from lunch to dinner and just threw anything together. Completely terrible experience.“

“I was walking in the area looking for a restaurant to get an early dinner when I saw republic. I don't drink so was hesitant but when I entered I was surprised to see such an inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly, efficient, professional, friendly, and accommodating. The menu was eclectic with unique offerings. I chose the grilled asparagus which was amazingly good , and the beef tips which were tender and delicious. My friend had a cheeseburger which he said was wonderful, and cooked to perfection. It was served with a generous portion of the best fries I have eaten in years. I highly recommend this place!!!“

“We went back after having an amazing experience on Thanksgiving only to walk away disappointed the 2nd time around. We learned there's no heat in the front part of restaurant and it was really cold. Food got cold fast and my body was tense from sitting as bunched up as i could with my napkin as a lap blanket. Our server was great, upfront, making beer recommendations. But .... didn't do so good once we placed our food orders. We asked other servers walking by for a soda refill and tomgo box. We even paid on the table pad and wondered how long it took him to notice we were gone. Food was amazing and the restaurant itself was GREAT! But freezing my *ss off during a nice meal and having a server that doesn't check on you is not so great.“

“Frank's is my favorite place in town to get oysters on the half-shell. The vibe is warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The bread with ash butter and sea salt is a favorite. The oysters are fresh, plump, and succulent. The champagne mignonette is flavorful and delicate so as not to outdo the oysters. We tried a seasonal dessert: nectarine, rose, and pistachio pavlova. Everything is delicious. Finally, the service is impeccable. We always feel special when we are here and we can't wait to visit again soon!“

“Saint John's is my absolute favorite neighborhood bar. Not only do the staff care deeply about their community, but the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and silly in the best possible way. Every time I'm nearby, I can't resist getting the tuna melt (with house-made pickled onions and potato chips?! incredible) and their side salad with an amazing house-made dressing. Saint John's is a must-stop for anyone who loves and off the charts and still affordable meal (increasingly rare!).“

“When we lived nearby, my boyfriend and I used to go almost every week, and it’s the restaurant that we miss the most after moving. Their burgers are very good but the garlic pull-apart and the chicken wings are amazing! We also rarely got disappointed from the changing menu. Chili, chicken Parmesan, Cuban sandwich, lamb chop, tuna two ways, just to name a few memorable dishes. The consistency is pretty impressive. For the high quality of food, it’s also very reasonably priced!“

“My fiancé and I really liked it here; it’s the perfect place for car enthusiasts. The food was good, our waiter was really friendly, and the tour around the interior of the building was interesting. The tours are $15 PP but since they were having an event and the middle of the showroom didn’t have any cars, they gave us a tour around the place for free which we greatly appreciated. Our tour guide was really knowledgeable on the cars. 10/10 would come back~ 🫶🏼“

“After getting turned away from a nearby bar for lack of ID, some friends and I randomly wandered into this place Canon—and honestly? The rejection did us a favor.
This bar serves the most outrageously fantastic, creative cocktails in Seattle. Bold, clever, and absolutely showing off (as they should).
The vibe? Classic old world. Moody, intimate, effortlessly cool. And just when you think it can’t get better, there’s an old-timey radio broadcast playing in the bathroom. Yes. The bathroom. Because commitment to ambiance and details matter. The food was delicious, the straws are glass, and the water glasses are crystal. A bit more $$ but worth every extra dime.
I loved this place unapologetically and would 100% go back. A must-visit, no hesitation.“

“We had such a great night at Joey, and a huge part of that was thanks to our waiter, Miranda. Her energy was amazing from the moment she greeted us—so warm, friendly, and genuinely upbeat. She was attentive without hovering, always smiling, and made us feel truly welcomed and taken care of throughout the evening. Her service and positive attitude honestly elevated the entire experience. Miranda turned a good dinner into a memorable night. Thank you!“

“Our first time here! It's tucked away with the other businesses near Pike Place Market. It's where Wild Fish Poke is and you'll see their sign on the right and then up the stairs! It's across from Matt's in the Market and on the 2nd floor. Place is small so they DO require a reservation! They have an assortment of drinks, several bourbons and whiskey. I got the autumns mark which has 4 different liquors and fall spices. My bf tried the "pickle back" which is a shot of bourbon + a shot of pickle juice. I'm not a fan of bourbon but man, you gotta try the pickle juice! If you like pickles, you will like this, their own recipe too! The loaded tots you must get! Truly loaded with tender pulled pork, pickled goat horn peppers (so good), smoked cheddar cheese, GRAVY and a soft fried egg on top! I LOVED their braised beef brisket! Three hunks of beef, slowly braised and oh so tender with arugula on the side and some nice buttered onions with subtle horseradish crème on the side. Dip the beef in that crème and braised sauce, delicious! To end the good food and drinks, we had the fried bread pudding that had bourbon caramel and whipped cream. You NEED TWO of these! Like it was that good and good for one person if you ask me. Our server was delightful and entertaining! Atmosphere has nice vibes, definitely casual.“

“This was our first time here and I would say we were at about 80% satisfied with the experience, compared to other high-end restaurants in the area, the decoration and ambience were very underwhelming, but the staff was very professional, and it was very lively. Both salads were got were excellent and our entree was really good the lamb Ragu. Unfortunately the two starters were meh for the cauliflower was decent. The meatballs were a big flop, not sure if it was overcooked or the meat was too lean, they were really dry and took away from the nice sauce. It took about 30 minutes to order food, think someone forgot about us as the people that came same time as us we’re already eating before we could even order.“
