“Kauai is the ONLY place my Hawaiian son-in-law will go when he wants/needs a taste of home! You go for the food and the people. It's in a small retail strip in Georgetown. Nothing fancy.

“I am a huge pho connoisseur and been to many spots around the great Seattle area (mostly south in federal way, Kent, Renton) and this is my new favorite spot. Service is always great, clean and modern interior, and the pho is 🔥🔥. Price is fair compared to other spots, and if you come with friends and family they have a variety of other options like phad thai and teriyaki. Highly recommend if you are in the kent-east hill area!!

To those bigger eaters like me (I go all out on pho) the large bowl is definitely a Large bowl with ample portions of everything: more noodles, meat, and soup. And again the service is always amazing and kitchen staff are always on point with timing and quality.“

“This is by far my favorite teriyaki spot amd my go to! I love their chicken yakisoba, they don't skimp on anything. The food is always fresh and delicious. The helping is definitely worth the money spent. We ordered over the phone and then by the time we get there the food is ready. So service is standard time, which I would expect when the food is that good. I've never had a bad experience here like I've had at many other teriyaki places.“

“My office ordered here for a big to-go order on a cozy, rainy day, and they were so accommodating! An order for 7 people was ready in 20 minutes and packaged securely. We ordered Pho Tai and Pho Nam, grilled pork Bahn mi, a bunch of egg rolls, and the sweet and sour pho, which was amazing if you like to explore flavors, dont shy away from it! All of our food was great, there were no complaints from anyone. 10/10 for these guys, a true hidden gem in Tukwila, WA! Fair warning: their chili oil is no joke. I would buy jars of this stuff. “We've had a number of meals here now and, Saigon Gardens has been a model consistency. The plate dishes have been very good, and their Pho-Tai has been exceptional. Not sure why some reviews complain about a flavorless broth.

Now the real test will be how good will their food be 18months from now. Common habit for some south Seattle Vietnamese restaurants is the food quality drops off about a year or two of operation.

“My first time in and really didn’t have many expectations but was blown away by the friendly staff. Ordered papaya salad w/ tofu. Tofu came fried to perfection in my book. Requested some fish sauce, the server asked if I would prefer fish dressing, big smile on my face :). Ordered a (banh-mi) sandwich w/ tofu, tofu was a little soft for my liking but had great flavor and a overly fair amount of ingredients, two thumbs up 👍. I received a side of fish dressing I used some chilly paste in it, the other server asked if I would like to have the chilly oil… ohh man was I happy with that suggestion!! Loved it!! “So yummy! I was excited to see this place here in the Seattle area. I had only been to the one in Honolulu before and it was so good! The noodles are thick and the flavors are amazing. The tempura is fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend.“

“Lee’s Kitchen in Factoria is the same restaurant as the OG located Overlake. This location is much more spacious vs Overlake. If you are near both locations, come here instead. Their most popular dishes are the rice rolls while everyone still complains about how long it takes to make stone pot rice dishes. In case anyone misses the fine print, it takes over 30 minutes. Another couple in the restaurant thought they forgot to make the dish and were yelling into the kitchen. The staff is friendly, though limited with their English. We ordered via the tablet at the front, and the food is brought out to us at the table. A rack on a wall has all the utensils and napkins, etc. Parking is plentiful.

The Food:
Shrimp Rice Rolls $11.99 – 4 Stars
The rice rolls are still as good as I remember them. For some reason, it feels a bit out of balance this time. A lot of rice rolls, not a lot of shrimp. The sauce is fantastic and a must.

Signature Beef Brisket Rice Rolls add Egg, $18.99+$1 – 4 Stars
This is a beefy take on the rice roll. The added egg provided the yellow hue in the rice roll. Some brisket pieces are fattier. Their version is the traditional style with the chewy bit attached; some folks might hate it due to this. The sauce is also beefy. This is almost a soup, not in a bad way.

Clear Soup Beef Offal with Daikon, $12.99 – 0 Stars
This was a sad dish. When they say soup, they meant most broth, with few contents. The daikon wasn’t tender. The offal and the soup didn’t have much flavor. I rarely leave food behind, but I did for this dish.

Garlic Fried Chicken Wings, $7.99 – 5 Stars
The clear winner of the night were their wings. I believe four pieces of plump and fat wings, perfectly crispy and flavorful. I would order this again.“

The pork chop was perfectly grilled—juicy, flavorful, and slightly smoky with that authentic Vietnamese taste. The broken rice was soft and paired so well with the pickled veggies, fresh garnishes, and fish sauce. Every bite felt balanced and comforting, just like a true Vietnamese home-style meal.

“We went there for the dumplings as I’m always looking to find good dumpling places. We had the pork dumplings and kimchi bun and the red beans bun. They all delicious, but I didn’t taste much kimchi flavor in the bun. The red beans filling are smooth, buttery and not too sweet. Also like that they give the broth as drink instead of water. It’s delicious.“

“We had an early dinner yesterday and had such a great experience, from the kind owner, who ran the whole place by herself during that time, to the food, to the cleanliness. Everything was fresh. The place is clean from kitchen to dining area to the restroom.

The food was delicious, but we were in such a rush that I forgot to take photos of the food we ordered: grilled pork banh mi, bun bo hue, and kids pho with tofu. The tofu seemed freshly made. Everything was delicious!

The prices were reasonable and affordable.

“Update: I am sad to say that because of the huge changes made to the menu by the new owner, I have to take a star away from my rating. The food has become under seasoned and sometimes the execution is poor. The quality is now inconsistent but broadly underwhelming, with old signature dishes having been removed or turned into something unrecognizable. It is nowhere near where it was three years ago when the founder ran the restaurant. I hope that they reconsider a lot of these changes so I can give the star back.

Not just the best Chinese food in the Pierce/King county area, but the best food. My wife is a Chinese expat and this is pure comfort food for her. Their food is authentic Chinese, the way I remember it from my time there in Henan, and on top of that, it's relatively cheap.

You know it's real Chinese when it's fresh, delicious, healthy, and reasonably priced. We drive all the way from Tacoma to come here every time, at least twice a month. It's worth the trip not just because the food is so good, but also because the location is great -- we can do our shopping at Ranch 99 for cool Asian import groceries and other comforts from back home.

On top of all this, the service is warm, sincere, and efficient. My favorite place to eat, period.“

Each dish has lots of great flavor and time put into it and there’s plenty of options for you to choose from. I highly recommend trying any of the bowls of pho, it is always satisfying and is some of the best that I’ve ever had. It has lots of great deep flavor with lots of slices of meat and great noodles.
