“The owner was really nice. I have recieved the best customer service in this since i have arrived in canada. Bhart was really nice and easy to talk. They even let me stay in their shop for 3 hours while i was waiting for my friend.
Cake was also very nice. He even gave me some free sweets to eat while i was waiting. They also put the cake into freezer, so it won't when i have to drive for 3 hours from calgary to my city.

“Stopped here for a coffee and a quick bite. Love this place. My latte, made with Ethiopian coffee beans was amazing. The chicken wrap was delicious and could definitely be shared by two people. Fre, the owner, was friendly and we had a wonderful conversation. Highly recommend this little gem!!!!“

“Very cute and comfortable coffee shop. There are lots of unique drinks and really, really good coffee. They also have a few choices for breakfast, and the one I had tasted really good, but I thought it was a little expensive for what you get. They also have a flower shop inside. I would definitely be back to try the other drinks.“

“June 2023, I was pleasantly surprised that my favorire Coffee Bun is now in Calgary! I’ve been a customer of Papparoti in Dubai for almost 10 years! The coffee bun—soft, warm, and perfectly buttery with just the right hint of coffee flavor. The outer crust was slightly crisp, giving way to a rich, fluffy center. It’s the kind of treat that pairs perfectly with a cup of strong coffee.

Friendly service and a cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Since my first visit, I’ve brought my family back many times! And lot of coffee bun take away! Highly recommend!“

“Today was our first visit to this place. We ordered anday wala burger, chicken bread, chaat, onion rings, and karak chai. When the food was served, my first impression was this food looks good. When we started eating, I was very impressed with the authentic taste of each item. Everything was great. I never felt so close to karachi authentic taste of street food in Calgary. Mr. ALI, the owner was extremely polite. We couldn't thank him enough before leaving. Will definitely come back and try other items on the menu.“

“Lovely quaint little mom and pop cafe with tremendous, fresh, quality and delicious food. Highly recommend the special bulgogi beef sub sandwich, sliced roast beef with sautéed onion, julienned carrot, cheese and a wonderful Dijon mustard based sauce on a perfect baguette roll was top notch. On the messy side which just meant it was finger licking good in the end. Came with fresh side salad. Wife also really enjoyed the chicken wrap. Everything very fresh and crisp and made to order. Owners are very friendly and noted we were lucky to come when it was finally very quiet as they stay quite busy

“Popped in here on a whim looking for a quick breakfast and coffee and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this spot was. Great service, very reasonably priced, and sooo tasty. Definitely worth the visit and I will be back soon to try more menu items that caught my eye.“

“Went with a friend earlier today, we were welcomed with a friendly smile and polite greeting by one of the staff immediately, which was refreshing. Browsing the menu was easy and we were offered help promptly, though we didn’t need it. The menu sported a variety of yummy treats, drinks, snacks, and even meals, though I only tried a ginger cookie and the “Calgary fog” tea today. My friend tried the peanut butter-marshmallow square and a hot chocolate. The staff was kind enough to serve our drinks to us at the table we chose!! We were both very pleased, the drinks were lovely and the treats were tasty. The location has a busy parking lot, but overall is convenient as it’s close to transit and the parking lot may be busy but does usually have room for parking in spite of that. Despite the shop itself also being busy at times, I noticed the staff working hard to keep everyone happy, behind the counter running smoothly, and keeping the area tidy. Overall, a great little coffee shop with a lot to offer and fantastic customer service, I will definitely be returning and 10/10 would recommend!! (This review has been cross-posted.)“

“The barista was so nice and helpful! The pastries were delicious (almond croissant, cookie and a spinach and feta pastry) and flakey. I asked about gluten free options for a friend and staff was so educated and honest, they had gluten free but couldn’t guarantee it had never been touched by flour, it was so nice to have that information as my friend is extremely sensitive. Overall a 10/10“

“Found this shop after looking for stores that sell Yugioh cards. We had already been to a couple before this one but Metal Galaxy is definitely our favorite and within walking distance! After finding it we visit multiple times a week. The owner is also super cool, better than any other person we've met working at the other card shops as he actually knows about the different card games and talks to you. We end up buying Yugioh singles, booster packs, boxes, card sleeves, and card portfolios. They have a points system where you earn points that you can redeem for store credit when you earn enough. We earned so many points that one day we walked out with singles that we bought with just points alone. Definitely the card shop you want to be a regular at.“
