“A friend has been raving about these donuts so I had to stop in to try!

The donuts were very good, I appreciated that they were not too sweet and the wide selection of flavours.

I feel 4.5 stars would be more accurate for me. Although the donut was very good, for me personally I wished there had been more donut:filling ratio vs so much filling (but that’s a personal preference).

Or maybe a taster box with 3-4 smaller sized donuts so you could try 2-3 flavours, without eating so much filling at once.

Would recommend if you are in the area looking for a snack!“

“Honestly, everything at Café 18g is amazing. From the coffee to the food, you can really tell they care about quality. They offer such a great variety — fresh real-fruit juices, comforting soups, delicious sandwiches, rice bowls, and perfectly made coffee. Everything tastes fresh and made with attention to detail. • I stood at the cashier area for a while before someone came and asked what I wanted to order. The whole store had 3 tables at that time, there’s no way they would take that long to notice a customer was there.
• I remember they gave us a tray for our food and drinks, not anymore. Today, when I put the straw in my drink, it spilled everywhere on the table bc it was too full.“

“This place is worlds best! The cats are all happy and calm together, the rules of visiting are realistic. The staff are friendly. I bought a bunch of merchandise but was sad that some things were out of stock. I found the same thing online so I ordered it from on there. Thank you for all you do“

“This restaurant is a hidden gem we found looking for a cup of coffee. My wife is from Ethiopia and instantly felt welcomed and at home with Fre the owner. She roasted us fresh Buna and did the traditional coffee ceremony for us. We ended up staying for lunch and had some delicious injera and tibs. The atmosphere is a cool blend of coffee shop and traditional Ethiopian iconography if you’re looking for it. Fre kept coming back and chatting with my wife about their lives growing up in Ethiopia. It was a magical experience for my wife who misses home and we definitely recommend“

The cake not only closely resembled the image I provided but also possessed an exquisite taste. I specifically requested a chocolate truthful cake, and they executed it flawlessly.

“Went with a friend earlier today, we were welcomed with a friendly smile and polite greeting by one of the staff immediately, which was refreshing. Browsing the menu was easy and we were offered help promptly, though we didn’t need it. The menu sported a variety of yummy treats, drinks, snacks, and even meals, though I only tried a ginger cookie and the “Calgary fog” tea today. My friend tried the peanut butter-marshmallow square and a hot chocolate. The staff was kind enough to serve our drinks to us at the table we chose!! We were both very pleased, the drinks were lovely and the treats were tasty. The location has a busy parking lot, but overall is convenient as it’s close to transit and the parking lot may be busy but does usually have room for parking in spite of that. Despite the shop itself also being busy at times, I noticed the staff working hard to keep everyone happy, behind the counter running smoothly, and keeping the area tidy. Overall, a great little coffee shop with a lot to offer and fantastic customer service, I will definitely be returning and 10/10 would recommend!! (This review has been cross-posted.)“

Today, four of us came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and just to get together.
We enjoyed three menu items — a beef bulgogi long sub, chicken salad with grapes and almonds, and a clubhouse — all paired with coffee.
Each dish tasted as if it were made at home with fresh, organic ingredients, and every bite was consistently delicious, which truly impressed me.
Looking around, it was wonderful to see people from many different countries all enjoying their meals and clearly satisfied with the atmosphere. 😊“

“The barista was so nice and helpful! The pastries were delicious (almond croissant, cookie and a spinach and feta pastry) and flakey. I asked about gluten free options for a friend and staff was so educated and honest, they had gluten free but couldn’t guarantee it had never been touched by flour, it was so nice to have that information as my friend is extremely sensitive. Overall a 10/10“

“Great atmosphere, great place to sit and enjoy a coffee, however, last visit the Air Conditioner was on so high, it felt like it was about to snow. Barista said controls were locked. Hmmm. Manager should have access. Only seems logical. Overheard others with same complaint.“

“Such a cute little mom and pop hole in the wall spot. I came in craving a good breakfast and ordered the Yummy Breakfast and it absolutely hit the spot. The price was amazing for how much food you get and I was completely full when I left.

They brought us some homemade jam and it was so good. If I could have bought a jar to take home, I definitely would have. The over easy eggs were cooked perfectly, exactly how I asked for them.

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really tell they care about their customers. They were happy to help, very friendly, and provided excellent service the whole time we were there.

“Had their root beer cookies at an event and they were delicious! Bought the frozen cookie dough but unfortunately they were not near as good. They didn't taste much like root beer, and looked like the batter wasn't mixed evenly with some darker spots and some lighter spots. Disappointing.

“Today I headed down to Gravity Calgary to get some prep done for my upcoming show. I had my favorite dish of theirs called the Jamaican Pie! (Their award winning Vegetable Quiche is my second favourite dish). I paired the pie with their delicious Sweet Potato soup and had Gravity’s Coffee flavour “Insomnia”. It was pay what you want for the coffee day. I cannot rave more about this place. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. The owner, Andy is so supportive of myself and other local Musicians. There is an amazing Jazz Jam here on Sundays from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. (Don’t quote me on the time though.) This place is awesome!“
