“Last night, I went to buy Rasmalai Cake from Delhi Bakery as I have heard a lot about the taste of this bakery. But when I saw the Rasmalai Cake, I didn't like the design and color of that cake as it seems to be made by non - professional baker. There was a girl , I told her that I want a Rasmalai Cake but not this one. She listened to me very calmly and she made cake for me within only 20 minutes, I can't imagine that the cake looks so good. I give 100/100 to that girl's hard work. I thank her sincerely for making my day so special. Next time, I will definitely go there and order every cake for the upcoming occasion.“

“It is a cute and cozy breakfast and lunch cafe run by Korean owners. This is already my third visit just this year. They are friendly, the space is clean, and the food is delicious with generous portions. You can really feel the homemade touch in every dish. They do not seem to take reservations, but table turnover is fairly quick. The cafe attracts customers of various ages and backgrounds. Highly recommended 😊“

“Went with a friend earlier today, we were welcomed with a friendly smile and polite greeting by one of the staff immediately, which was refreshing. Browsing the menu was easy and we were offered help promptly, though we didn’t need it. The menu sported a variety of yummy treats, drinks, snacks, and even meals, though I only tried a ginger cookie and the “Calgary fog” tea today. My friend tried the peanut butter-marshmallow square and a hot chocolate. The staff was kind enough to serve our drinks to us at the table we chose!! We were both very pleased, the drinks were lovely and the treats were tasty. The location has a busy parking lot, but overall is convenient as it’s close to transit and the parking lot may be busy but does usually have room for parking in spite of that. Despite the shop itself also being busy at times, I noticed the staff working hard to keep everyone happy, behind the counter running smoothly, and keeping the area tidy. Overall, a great little coffee shop with a lot to offer and fantastic customer service, I will definitely be returning and 10/10 would recommend!! (This review has been cross-posted.)“

“What I like to r most about the place is the owner. I went there for some chai, and I was short a little bit of money, and the gentleman asked me not to worry about it. Such great customer service goes a long way. Thank you for being incredible.

I asked about gluten free options for a friend and staff was so educated and honest, they had gluten free but couldn’t guarantee it had never been touched by flour, it was so nice to have that information as my friend is extremely sensitive. “Wow ! I went to a friends 60th bday party on the weekend and it was catered by Empire Provision. The food was absolutely amazing ! Charcuterie and appetizers were served. And Erin, Emma and Chelsea were delightful in their skill and service. Highly recommended !“

“The restaurant has about two 4-person tables inside.
The owners are very kind, and the value for money is absolutely amazing.
During my 3 months in Canada, I often felt eating out was too expensive, but I was very satisfied after having their pork bulgogi (jeyuk-bokkeum).
Since they open early in the morning, it’s also great to grab some take-out on the way for a trip. It looks like they even sell side dishes (banchan) for takeaway. ^^
I wish I had discovered this place earlier so I could have tried other dishes like bulgogi, but unfortunately, I only found it near the end of my stay.“

“Today I headed down to Gravity Calgary to get some prep done for my upcoming show. I had my favorite dish of theirs called the Jamaican Pie! (Their award winning Vegetable Quiche is my second favourite dish). I paired the pie with their delicious Sweet Potato soup and had Gravity’s Coffee flavour “Insomnia”. It was pay what you want for the coffee day. I cannot rave more about this place. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. The owner, Andy is so supportive of myself and other local Musicians. There is an amazing Jazz Jam here on Sundays from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. (Don’t quote me on the time though.) This place is awesome!“

“Oh my. Le Comptoir is a gem on the Marda Loop on 33rd at the edge of Altador in Calgary.

Note...the space is tiny. You'll be lucky to ever get a seat indoors. But there's also space outside. In the winter there's even a fire going outdoors.

The service is no nonsense straight to the point. I was cracking a joke but they just wanted my order. So maybe they could lighten up a bit. 😊

The food is top notch. The pastries, baking and coffee here is insanely good.
