“Last night, I went to buy Rasmalai Cake from Delhi Bakery as I have heard a lot about the taste of this bakery. But when I saw the Rasmalai Cake, I didn't like the design and color of that cake as it seems to be made by non - professional baker. There was a girl , I told her that I want a Rasmalai Cake but not this one. She listened to me very calmly and she made cake for me within only 20 minutes, I can't imagine that the cake looks so good. I give 100/100 to that girl's hard work. I thank her sincerely for making my day so special. Next time, I will definitely go there and order every cake for the upcoming occasion.“

“Found this shop after looking for stores that sell Yugioh cards. We had already been to a couple before this one but Metal Galaxy is definitely our favorite and within walking distance! After finding it we visit multiple times a week. The owner is also super cool, better than any other person we've met working at the other card shops as he actually knows about the different card games and talks to you. We end up buying Yugioh singles, booster packs, boxes, card sleeves, and card portfolios. They have a points system where you earn points that you can redeem for store credit when you earn enough. We earned so many points that one day we walked out with singles that we bought with just points alone. Definitely the card shop you want to be a regular at.“

“What I like to r most about the place is the owner. I went there for some chai, and I was short a little bit of money, and the gentleman asked me not to worry about it. Such great customer service goes a long way. Thank you for being incredible.

“Went with a friend earlier today, we were welcomed with a friendly smile and polite greeting by one of the staff immediately, which was refreshing. Browsing the menu was easy and we were offered help promptly, though we didn’t need it. The menu sported a variety of yummy treats, drinks, snacks, and even meals, though I only tried a ginger cookie and the “Calgary fog” tea today. My friend tried the peanut butter-marshmallow square and a hot chocolate. The staff was kind enough to serve our drinks to us at the table we chose!! We were both very pleased, the drinks were lovely and the treats were tasty. The location has a busy parking lot, but overall is convenient as it’s close to transit and the parking lot may be busy but does usually have room for parking in spite of that. Despite the shop itself also being busy at times, I noticed the staff working hard to keep everyone happy, behind the counter running smoothly, and keeping the area tidy. Overall, a great little coffee shop with a lot to offer and fantastic customer service, I will definitely be returning and 10/10 would recommend!! (This review has been cross-posted.)“

I asked about gluten free options for a friend and staff was so educated and honest, they had gluten free but couldn’t guarantee it had never been touched by flour, it was so nice to have that information as my friend is extremely sensitive. Overall a 10/10“

“I love Angels Cafe. Sitting on the porch watching the people and Bow river flowing in the background. I usually go for a walk and then stop in for a bite. They’ve got great burgers and salads and friendly staff. It’s a great place with a big heart. And I’ve heard some fantastic music there. Sunday on the patio is excellent.“

“This place is definitely a hidden gem found in Calgary, a family one business restaurant owned by an old couple. Located inside a business building. Serving some of the best yummy home comfort food. The order of full breakfast and beef bulgogi and I got to say the price is extremely reasonable and affordable. I highly recommend anyone to come here if you want a home comfort Korean meal!“

“Today I headed down to Gravity Calgary to get some prep done for my upcoming show. I had my favorite dish of theirs called the Jamaican Pie! (Their award winning Vegetable Quiche is my second favourite dish). I paired the pie with their delicious Sweet Potato soup and had Gravity’s Coffee flavour “Insomnia”. It was pay what you want for the coffee day. I cannot rave more about this place. The staff are always cheerful and welcoming. The owner, Andy is so supportive of myself and other local Musicians. There is an amazing Jazz Jam here on Sundays from approximately 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. (Don’t quote me on the time though.) This place is awesome!“

“Oh my. Le Comptoir is a gem on the Marda Loop on 33rd at the edge of Altador in Calgary.

Note...the space is tiny. You'll be lucky to ever get a seat indoors. But there's also space outside. In the winter there's even a fire going outdoors.

The service is no nonsense straight to the point. I was cracking a joke but they just wanted my order. So maybe they could lighten up a bit. 😊

The food is top notch. The pastries, baking and coffee here is insanely good.

“It's a nice vibe in the cafe, but I was very confused by the use of disposable cups even for dine in?? Very incongruent with the aesthetic experience the cafe is trying to give. Why am I going out to sit in a noisy cafe and paying much more than Tim's just to drink from a plastic and paper cup lol

The pistachio cheesecake was just okay, to be honest. Too sweet and not much different tasting than any cheesecake. Perhaps it is the fault of the hype for raising my expectations too much.

The Spanish latte was delicious. I would have been back, if they served coffee in actual mugs.“
