“It was my first time trying a potato taco, and I absolutely loved it. The taco was crispy on the outside, the potatoes were creamy, and there was the perfect amount of tang from lime. They also had delicious frijoles, although it was a little strong on the oregano. The atmosphere was upbeat. It was on the louder side, so it was harder to have conversations, but was appropriate for a Saturday night out.“

“we frequent this torchy’s tacos location and used to come almost every wednesday, so we’ve had plenty of visits over the years. the food is always great, comes out in a reasonable amount of time, and i almost always leave satisfied.

what really stands out, though, is the customer service. we usually order through the kiosk, but oscar always makes a point to come over and check on us anyway. even though we aren’t ordering directly with him, he’ll stop by to make sure we don’t need help with the kiosk, answer questions, or see if there’s anything he can do for us. he always has a smile on his face and creates such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

i actually spoke with him today to compliment him because it’s something i’ve noticed consistently over multiple visits. great food is one thing, but employees like oscar are what keep people coming back. thank you for always making us feel welcome!“

My first visit ...my girl and I found it on a whim headed across town .. I am fully surprised.
We had birria tacos and an horchata and they were great
Tacos had plenty of innards .. good melty cheese and good quantities of meat. The toppings bar added the perfect flexibility with several sauces and some veg.
The corn tortillas were crispy and tasted amazing....and the dipping consume.. omg so good
I have two complaints .. first.. I wish there were more of this place all over town ..and second . They give you a ton of consume.. which is good . But it's delicious...savor it .. I almost drank it!

“Third time in and I can assure you they do not put as much care into the look of the food as what the videos and pictures show. The last time in was last week. The service was incredibly slow. the food was slop on foam plates. I just don't know what is happening to this place. I have had better food at chain restaurants. If you want good Mexican food, this isn't the place to go. It is very unfortunate.“

“First time trying this place that we been wanting to try for years . First impression it was small no one greeted no signs on where to pick up or order but common sense with the little cashier window . But other than that the food was great . I don’t like Al pastor tacos but at this place I did ! Tripas hands down my favorite I have had it was perfect . Lengua was under seasoned needed more flavor . Chicken tacos were dry . Asada was pretty good too ! Will definitely have more trips and al pastor for sure !“

“If you haven't found this place, you're simply missing out, especially if you are looking for GF options. I don't have allergies, but my wife is Celiac and could eat anything and everything on the menu. The Chimichunga was incredible and the Gordita was so good, I had to go back and order another (the Asada was super good, but the pastor stole the show... not to sweet, just a hint of pinapple)!

Don't miss out... and I'm only visiting for a week (gonna be back before I leave).“

“I’ve been vegan for almost 12 years. Slowly there have been restaurants that are plant based, but I’ve never found good vegan Mexican food, until now. A colleague and I ordered here and we’re absolutely amazed at how delicious and fresh it was!!! She’s carnivore and loved it. I’ve found a new favorite spot for sure!“

“I don't think the 2 most recent reviews are truthful. I eat here once a week. This is an amazing taco shop. They way they make your food to order is awesome. Like chipotle but actually good. You order they turn around and make your burrito/tacos and then move down the line of toppings/salsa.Every vege and sauce is soo flavorful.They even have pickled onions!I could have just reported them but that doesn't show how wrong they are. Below are WHY they are inaccurate, or just lies.The most recent, said they used a microwave. Which no, they do not, you order, they turn around and grill.The 2nd one is just inaccurate; the way they described ordering isn't correct with how this restaurant does it. You order what you want any they turn around and make it before moving down the line for toppings. So you don't even sit down before getting your food.“
