“went tonight pre blazers game. Theo the chef came to our table as we had some changes and requests for our meal. when I say he went above and beyond that is an understatement. One person in our party some Mexican wings and Theo came to the table asked what he was thinking, was told not spicy and not super saucy. Well when I say them wings were da bomb, they were da bomb. Ever wanna try them ask for "the scotty wings". Then Theo came back to see how they were and how my chicken burger with honey galic sauce (recommended from our awesome waitress) which was fantastic and highly recommend. over fantastic food and service and we will be back. Forsure a 5 star!!”

“My experience at the Amsterdam Restaurant was terrific. This restaurant is not hard to miss since it is located right next to the Trans-Canada highway in Kamloops. My first time there, I had the Advocaat Belgian Waffle with coffee. The waffle was amazing; topped with vanilla ice cream, egg liquor, pecans, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar while the waffle itself was warm, crunchy outside and soft inside. The coffee was great as well. I highly recommend Amsterdam to anyone who happens to come by the restaurant.”

“Food was great. Had a salad with chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Came in and dined alone, was expecting a more friendly and attentive server. One of the girls at the front realized I wasn’t being cared for, and Abbie (Abby? Abi?) gladly grabbed me cutlery, refilled my water as well as checked on how my food tasted, etc. without me having to ask. She did a lovely job of going above and beyond and kindly refused when I offered her a small tip saying it “wasn’t necessary”. I will definitely be coming again.”

“First time visiting The Cutting Board. I was extremely impressed with the atmosphere and that they are strictly Gluten free! Haven’t eaten out anywhere in a long time as a celiac. All the treats looked delicious in the cabinet and let me tell you the food coming from the kitchen looked absolutely yummy! Didn’t know they served breakfast and lunch. Will be back for sure. I had the tarragon chicken and my wife had the cobb salad..they did take a while but they were worth the wait. “I’ve visited countless coffee shops because I love working out of cafés—it’s a great way to get out of the house. But I drive 30 minutes to this Tim Hortons, and it’s absolutely worth it. This place is simply the best.
The owner doesn’t just run the store—they genuinely connect with people, noticing when regulars return and taking the time to say thank you. Every team member seems genuinely happy to be there, working well together and creating a welcoming environment.
Accessibility is also top-notch—I’ve visited in a wheelchair and with a prosthetic leg, and it’s never been an issue. Even more impressive, the staff remember my coffee order, which is incredible for a café that likely serves hundreds of drinks daily.
It’s clear that when the owner leads with heart, the team reflects those values. I can’t recommend this Tim Hortons highly enough. I visit many coffee shops, but I’ve never had an experience like this. Truly exceptional.”

“We were really craving a good soup and not sure what we wanted. I had Jacob's as a saved place to try and so we gave it a go a couple days ago. We had the Seafood Nabe Udon and the Beef Udon. I'm not usually a Udon fan due to some not so good food from a couple places out of town, but this was DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be back for more, and to try a few more new things! 😊 I highly recommend checking them out and trying them for yourself.”

We had the poutine and pretzels for apps. The poutine was well received!

Two of the party split the chicken sandwich and the pulled pork Mac n cheese. They thought that it was an amazing dish.

Not surprising, the pull pork sandwich was also a hit as were the fries, which were great and fresh.

The salad was also good—we liked the crackers on it.

And the pizza also was really good. I got the veggie one.

We got drink as well, which were all good as well!

But the best part of our night was the hospitality shown by all the staff, especially Ashley! She was an amazing waitress and gave us tips for the next day of travel. She even helped when my daughter spilled something on her shirt bringing soda water and stain remover.”

“We spent a whole week in Kamloops for my son’s tennis tournament and were very happy to have stumbled on Frankly Coffee & Bistro. The food is fresh, delicious and presented in a very appetizing way.
The ambience is bright, airy and modern and the owners’ hospitality was top notch.

My brother in law wanted to take his mother out for an enjoyable Mother's Day gift and we decided to come by Mary Browns quickly to grab a Marys Big Bite, Mary's Mashup, Two Spicy Mini Mary's and Biscuit which only came to twenty five dollars but we were told it would take twenty minutes for a small order which we expected was because of the busy time.

After twenty minutes people had come in to order after us and still got their food first. So my brother in laws mother went up to see when our food would be ready and mentioned it would be twenty minutes maximum but it had been well over twenty minutes.

This front desk customer service employee was extremely unprofessional and rude to her, saying they were working on it right now.

After being short with her, I went up to ask for the manager to which I was replied to that there was no manager on site. Then I decided to leave this review.

They were smiling & were not “put off” when asked to do extras for people like put things in 2 bags instead of one, etc. My ratings are from the 9th & 10th because if I had rated it on the 8th, my ratings would have been completely different as far as service went. The food would have still been great but not the service that I watched the 25 or so minutes I was here. Please take notes from Tayne & Sierra as this is how you greet & serve customers… Chatting times are when customers aren’t here. Way To Go Tayne & Sierra ☕️ Much appreciated😎”
