“went tonight pre blazers game. Theo the chef came to our table as we had some changes and requests for our meal. when I say he went above and beyond that is an understatement. One person in our party some Mexican wings and Theo came to the table asked what he was thinking, was told not spicy and not super saucy. Well when I say them wings were da bomb, they were da bomb. Ever wanna try them ask for "the scotty wings". Then Theo came back to see how they were and how my chicken burger with honey galic sauce (recommended from our awesome waitress) which was fantastic and highly recommend. over fantastic food and service and we will be back. Forsure a 5 star!!”

“My experience at the Amsterdam Restaurant was terrific. This restaurant is not hard to miss since it is located right next to the Trans-Canada highway in Kamloops. My first time there, I had the Advocaat Belgian Waffle with coffee. The waffle was amazing; topped with vanilla ice cream, egg liquor, pecans, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar while the waffle itself was warm, crunchy outside and soft inside. The coffee was great as well. I highly recommend Amsterdam to anyone who happens to come by the restaurant.”

“We were really craving a good soup and not sure what we wanted. I had Jacob's as a saved place to try and so we gave it a go a couple days ago. We had the Seafood Nabe Udon and the Beef Udon. I'm not usually a Udon fan due to some not so good food from a couple places out of town, but this was DELICIOUS!! We will definitely be back for more, and to try a few more new things! 😊 I highly recommend checking them out and trying them for yourself.”

“First time visiting The Cutting Board. I was extremely impressed with the atmosphere and that they are strictly Gluten free! Haven’t eaten out anywhere in a long time as a celiac. All the treats looked delicious in the cabinet and let me tell you the food coming from the kitchen looked absolutely yummy! Didn’t know they served breakfast and lunch. Will be back for sure. “We went to Madras Masala for dinner today, and this was my second time visiting. I absolutely loved the experience!

The service was excellent, and a special shout-out to Anisha and Isha for making our evening even more enjoyable. Both ladies were extremely polite, friendly, and attentive. They took our orders and served everything with a beautiful smile throughout our visit. 😊

Their warm and welcoming attitude really stood out and made us feel so comfortable and well taken care of.

“Food was great. Had a salad with chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Came in and dined alone, was expecting a more friendly and attentive server. One of the girls at the front realized I wasn’t being cared for, and Abbie (Abby? Abi?) gladly grabbed me cutlery, refilled my water as well as checked on how my food tasted, etc. without me having to ask. She did a lovely job of going above and beyond and kindly refused when I offered her a small tip saying it “wasn’t necessary”. I will definitely be coming again.”

“If you're looking for great Chinese food in Kamloops, I highly recommend Shanghai Mandarin Restaurant.

The food was excellent with amazing flavor, generous portions, and fresh vegetables. Everything tasted fresh and wasn't greasy like you sometimes get at other places. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided great service.

This is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant in Kamloops, and I'll definitely be back!”

“Stopped by Saturday afternoon on a whim and ended up staying way longer than planned just to get decent light for a few shots of the dining room before it filled up. The staff were genuinely patient while I fiddled with my camera near the window table, and nobody rushed me even when I asked to reshoot the orange chicken before digging in. Parking out back was easy to find, which is rare for that stretch of road, and the food itself was hot and fresh enough that I almost forgot I was supposed to be photographing it instead of eating it. Honestly one of those spots that looks good in photos and tastes even better in person.”

“first of all…the worker Ava presented amazing costumer service and has amazing music playing for the stranglers at 9:30, JOJO was AMAZING! He provided a clean and safe atmosphere, provided EXCEPTIONAL customer service despite the fact we were 2 minutes till closing. Didn’t show annoyance or ANYTHING despite the fact we were dirtying his floors. LASTLY, DAVID. was super friendly as we were leaving the establishment. These three are the saviours of this McDonald’s. Bless their everything.”

“Stopped by Kamloops with my dog last Saturday afternoon and Hello Toast turned out to be exactly what we needed after a walk by the river. They had a water bowl set out on the patio without us even asking, and the staff came by to say hi to my pup before we even sat down. I had the avocado toast with poached eggs and it was easily one of the best versions I've had, still warm and perfectly seasoned. The whole vibe was relaxed and welcoming, definitely our new go to spot when we want to bring the dog along.”

“We stopped by last Friday evening around 6pm with our two kids and they got us seated quickly without any fuss over the stroller. The pretzel bites and the pulled pork sandwich were both huge hits at our table, and my son actually finished his plate for once. Our server was patient with all the kids menu questions and kept the drinks refilled without us having to ask twice. It is loud enough that nobody blinked at our toddler being toddler-loud, which honestly makes a place like this worth coming back to.”

The oat milk latte was great but it was the lavender honey cake that really sold me, still thinking about it. Staff behind the counter were friendly and clearly not rushing anyone out even though it was getting close to closing. Found a window seat with a nice view of the street and just sat there decompressing, exactly what I needed after a long week.”

After years of popping in on and off, it is still one of my go to cafes in Kamloops for both the coffee and the vibe.”

Here, the staff smiles, eager to serve, and very happy to take your order. Food is well-cooked, warm when served, and very satisfying. The Nashville Chicken Cruncher is amazing, and I can't get enough of the blueberry turnover.”

They were smiling & were not “put off” when asked to do extras for people like put things in 2 bags instead of one, etc. My ratings are from the 9th & 10th because if I had rated it on the 8th, my ratings would have been completely different as far as service went. The food would have still been great but not the service that I watched the 25 or so minutes I was here. “Have to than the owner and staff for honoring a reservation they didnt relize was on a stat Holliday. They opened up so we could still have our Birthday celabration!!!
